Low Longlands

Lovely lodge, with relaxing views and hot tub.

Weather was quite good so enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub daily (robes provided) & even booked the sauna. (Towels provided )(Spotless) Well equipped Lodge, decent size fridge, comfortable double bed with useful info and maps. Limited hanging space. Cartmel well worth a visit day and evening. We ate out in Cartmel 3 out of 4 nights (excellent choices but book ahead). Drove as no paths and 30 mins walk, but managed to book taxi for last night with Grange Taxis (£8 each way). Very handy for Lake Windermere. Friendly owner who regularly checks hot tub and so helpful. Loved our stay.

This is the second time we stayed at Longlands farm retreat.

The accommodations are amazing, and well equipped. The host is very helpful and accommodating. The views from the accommodations are just stunning and so peaceful. It It was a very relaxing break..

The owner was so kind and welcoming, she introduced herself as soon as we got there, she gave us all the information about our stay, how to book the sauna, and any good places to go to in the area to have a full weekend of activities. The views were stunning, me and my partner had such a relaxing weekend, very enjoyable and would love to book again in the future!

Amazing accomodation!

Peaceful and quiet yet not far from anywhere. Would reccomend and would visit again next time.

Excellent few days at low Longlands cabin, owners were really friendly and helpful, cabin was clean and had everything we needed, hot tub was great and the view was an added bonus.

An absolutely incredible place to stay.

From the information before arriving, the accommodation, the customer service, the location, the cleanliness, just everything was amazing. The hosts were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. It’s a great base to go walking, great pubs and shops in the village of cartmel centre too. Defo coming back for sure. Lora & Richard Fowler.

Absolutely loved our stay at Middle Longlands!

The pod was cozy and comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The facilities were top-notch, and the views were simply breathtaking. But what really made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality from Louise. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her recommendations for walks and local attractions were invaluable. The walks around the area were fabulous, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. If you're looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway, look no further than Middle Longlands. We'll definitely be back!

The whole view, location and cottage was absolutely amazing, we will be returning at some point in the future with friends. The surprise treats in the fridge were a perfect touch.

The Pod is so comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The hot tub is total luxury and the welcome touches left for your arrival by Louise make you feel valued and start your stay of perfectly. We cannot compliment Longlands Farm Luxury Retreats enough. The views from your pod are stunning, this is a truly magical place. We have already booked to return.

Booked for my wife's 50th birthday.

I would love to say it was an awful experience and no one should go but it's the most amazing place! So quiet and peaceful and and the pod lived up to our expectations and more. Louise was on hand if required but if not it was a very solitude place unless there was an issue. We have not been away and felt so exhausted from doing nothing but enjoying our own company for a while and was sorry to leave but look forward to booking it again as soon as we can. Staying at low Longlands was just perfect, the views were amazing!

! My morning route was to open the blinds and just watch the sheep/lambs and cows, it was so quiet and relaxing!! The hot tub is a perfect touch with the scenery, we just lay there looking out onto the fields and hills. I have already mentioned to members of my family about a couple of us going back together as it was so nice. Thank you for letting us stay we loved spending our honeymoon here

Stayed for 4 nights.

It was absolutely beautiful, we got lucky with the weather and it was sunny, which made the stay even more wonderful. The view from the lodge is breathtaking and seeing the little lambs run around the property made the experience. The owner of the property was ever so accommodating and was a lovely Lady that went above and beyond.

Wonderful stay.

Would highly recommend and would love to come back again. Loved getting in in the hot tub in the late evening after busy days out. All the facilities you need, beautiful location and Louise was very helpful. The sole thing I could think of was the mattress was a tad soft and pillows needed a bit more support but that could be put down to person preference. Look forward to staying again.

Me and my fiancé couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away.

The lodge was spotless, the hot tub was perfect and the views were stunning. Great hospitality which gave you privacy but were there to accommodate you for anything. We are already planning on booking again!

We had an excellent stay, beautiful location near a local village, our hosts were welcoming and available when required, the hot tub and log burner are a fantastic addition to a relaxing weekend we definitely needed!

Absolutely perfect loved our get away just one thing to improve on is some sort of shelter over the hot tub so that we could use it in the rain but 10/10 definitely recommend

We had such an amazing weekend, the cabin had the most stunning views.

The cabin itself was super clean & modern, the hot tub was also great! The owners were absolutely lovely and so willing to help, which only made our stay even better. We would definitely return here & have already recommended it to our friends & family!

Beautiful accommodation, Louise was extremely attentive and professional, no request was too much trouble.

The accommodation itself was pristine, extremely clean and well maintained and the onboarding instructions were clear and thorough. It was exactly as the listed. It's a shame we couldn't have stayed for longer! Would highly recommended to anyone look for a stay in the lake district and we'll definitely be back soon!

Holiday pods and surroundings were first class.

Very clean and tidy accommodation.

Very courteous hosts who provided little touches that were very appreciated. Mine and my partners first holiday together and it was such a wonderful stay that will be memorable looking back. We had initially intended to do a lot of hiking and sightseeing, but we spent majority of the time on the deck, in the hot tub and enjoying the room and the views. I have recommended this accommodation to many of my friends and family who all have loved our pictures of the stay and want to book too. We had a wonderful time and the accommodation was wonderful, couldn’t have had a better holiday!

We have just returned from a weeks stay and could not fault Low Longlands - wonderfully located in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views.

Louise was an exceptional host who runs things perfectly, very attentive, friendly and available daily to offer advice or information. We received a well detailed email from Louise prior to our arrival which covered all of the essential information and also provided a good insight into local amenities. Hot tub was wonderful and Louise checked water condition daily. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this to anyone - many thanks Louise and see you again when we return - Mick and Karen

A beautiful pod in an equally beautiful area.

Louise couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The pod was very comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. Will definitely come back during the summer to hopefully make full use of the BBQ! Thank you for a lovely stay, it was a much needed break for us and we enjoyed our stay very very much.

Lovely cabin very clean even provided milk, tea, coffee and biscuits a beer and a small bottle of Prosecco.

The owner was lovely. Great views and very peaceful. Oh also loved the hot tub and log burner

Lovely pod, very clean with excellent facilities and a lot warmer than you would think in late November.

Things that could have been better - the hot tub wasn't private enough. If other pod stayers walked past they would see us and it wasn't very warm so we didn't really use it. It would have been really helpful to have a torch and much clearer instructions in the pod on how to walk to the village - also let holiday makers know they will need wellies to cross the stream. But now we know - we would stay again - thank you for a very friendly welcome!

Great little lodge for a couple - it was a nice modern space with basic kitchen facilities, lovely views out onto the rolling green hills, easy to check in / out, great addition of the hot-tub and super close to Cartmel

The pod was fantastic and very comfortable, the bbq was so practical to use and the hot tub water was always hot at anytime of the day with such a fantastic view on the field full of sheep.

Would recommend and come back !

After celebrating my girlfriends 30th Birthday, we needed a break away from work and put every fay lives, this was the perfect spot, nice and quiet, friendly owners and their loveable dog, such a nice relaxing stay and the interior and exterior of the pods have such a modern yet homely feel, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet breakaway.

Me and my partner had a well deserved first break away with our baby and wow it didn’t disappoint.

The retreat was gorgeous and the views were amazing. It was clean and it had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing and loved the option of having the jets on. The sticky toffee pudding and alcohol gifted were such a nice touch. We were just around the corner from cartmel and visits grange and newby bridge. Thanks again we will be back soon!

Had a wonderful, idyllic stay here.

It was a gorgeous cabin with everything you would need. The hot tub was very welcome after a climb up scafel. Well located for a short walk in to the foodie Cartmel area. Host was really great and around should you need anything and the cabins felt very secluded with beautiful views. Would definitely return here

We stayed for a couple of days and it was absolutely incredible.

It was so comfy and cozy with amazing views. The property owners were so helpful with the stay and to give ideas about the surrounding area for daily outings. I very much recommend a stay here!

The owner was lovely and made us feel at home! Was in the perfect spot to go and explore the lakes and it had an amazing oven with settings for pizza, which we used and loved! The best experience I couldn’t recommend it anymore!

Not one fault.

Amazing 3 night stay. Lovely to have an open fire inside and a hot tub outside. From someone who comes from the city it was so nice to see the farmers outside with the sheepdogs herding in the morning. Amazing location, short drive to the nearest town and surrounded by incredible views and walks. Already thinking about booking again for summer! Definitely recommend!!

We recently spent 4 nights in this peaceful and tranquil place.

The Pod was clean and very comfortable .The log fire really added to the ambience and made the pod warm and cosy ,the central heating was easy to use and gave extra background warmth .The contemporary interior was stylish and of a high quality. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable ,the shower was fine with plenty of hot water and was sparkling clean . The only recommendation would be a shelf or wire basket in the shower cubicle to make it easier to store and use toiletries whist in the shower .The kitchen area was well equipped and the little treats we found in the fridge really made our day .The patio area and the hot tub were all good . Louise the owner checked and maintained the tub every day to ensure it was clean and hygienic ,which gave us peace of mind to enjoy the experience ,and to stargaze the night sky whist sat in the tub ...bliss. Louise was friendly helpful and attentive but not in an intrusive way .We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone ,superb thankyou .

Had a great, relaxing stay at Low Longlands.

Could not fault the accommodation clean, comfortable and warm. The location was perfect for a quiet relaxing break, within easy reach of the local village, lakes Windermere and Coniston. The pod was great to get back to after a day out and to relax in the hot tub was a great end to the days. Highly recommend and a big thank you to Louise making us feel very welcome. Look forward to returning in the future

Absolutely fantastic accommodation.

Everything was perfect during our stay. Louise was very welcoming and ever so helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone. During our stay we were fighting with going out and seeing the amazing views because our accommodation was just so comforting and provided everything. We will be coming again there is no doubt about that.

We have just returned home from the most gorgeous long weekend at Low Longlands.

The hot tub was great and log burner made it very cosy. We loved every minute and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break away. Big thanks to the owner for making the stay such a smooth process.

The Pod was new and really nice in a quiet area with great views .

The owner was very helpful with information of walks in surrounding area and the village was 2 minutes way by car and the local pubs really nice .

We had a wonderful time, the pod is absolutely spotless, incredibly well equipped with necessities and lovely complimentary package it was also lovely and warm, that's without the log burner on.

It might have been nice to have a hook or rail somewhere, just that not all clothes you really want folded in the drawers, and a small mirror near the plugs on the bedroom would have made it perfect.It would have been nice for hostess to introduce herself on arrival. Help with any questions, she was very nice when we did talk but seemed rushed when we arrived. The Spa bath is a delight, the jets though aren't very powerful though, they just gently agitate the water, despite the noise it generates. But it is comfortable and kept at a nice temperature and was clean too. On the whole it was a wonderful experience in an idyllic setting beautiful place to relax.

What an amazing place.

The location is fantastic not far from Cartmel and Windermere. Waking up to see the sheep was brilliant and the sky at night is just the best. The accommodation is so perfect and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its a great place to relax and unwind. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

We were blown away on arrival at how clean and well equipped the pod was.

We brought our own set of pans and tea, coffee etc and there was no need. The was ample kitchen utensils. Everything about the accommodation had been finished to a very high standard and it was definitely worth what we paid and more. Situated on a quiet farm just outside a small village, the views were amazing and the peace and quiet was soothing. We received an email from Louise shortly after our arrival, who couldn’t do enough to help make our stay even easier. The email was full of details about the area (shops, takeaways, restaurants and activities that might interest us), weather forecast for our stay and handy little guides on how to use some of the equipment. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be booking again. Good luck to Louise and will in their new venture
