lovely clean well equiped lodge,right on the lake,,enclosed outside space so ye dog can see you as fishing.

Excellent property nicely situated by the lake.

Only issue we had inside the lodge was the cooking utensils, only 2 small pans and 2 frying pans one of which was badly burned so could not be used. Knives and forks a bit flimsy but usable, the sliding door a bit stiff to open and close and the BBQ not sure if it was usable or not, not that we were going BBQ. Apart from them few issues we had a great time and look forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic new lodge my wife drops me off at the lodge for the week because she doesn’t like fishing but she wanted to stay because it is so nice

Loved this lodge as used to stay in the old one that used to be there massive improvement have booked again to go in couple months.

Just few things that would make it even more perfect better knives forks spoons pots pans also an information book giving information on how to use heating, oven, showers where to put the rubbish when leaving also a larger toaster i was going to mop when leaving but there was no pads to put on the mop cushions for the outside chairs would of been handy also a pen just to leave some comments in the book theses little things would make it even more perfect

Lovely place but could do with stronger knives and forks and a bigger toaster that's it

We stayed in lakeside lodge, it was November and very cold outside but warm and cosy inside, beautiful surroundings, we really enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next spring.

The lodge could have been better equipped, the tin opener didn't work and a pair of scissors would have been handy,also the freezer compartment on the fridge was so full of ice it wouldn't close, it badly needed defrosting.

We have been to Bowland Lakes 3 times before staying in the fisherman’s caravans, which was always brilliant.

Decided to stop in a lodge this time and once again an excellent week was had. As usual the staff are very friendly and always there to help. Site is always being improved since our first visit with more planed. Fishing was usual high standards with some impressive dinner plate bream being caught on method feeder and pellet from peg outside lodge. Nice touch this time is that tackle shop has been reopened. Liked it so much we are back for another stay in November.

I love this lodge because of its closeness to fishery,out the door,into fishing.

its small but cosy.could do with upgrade.the site is well run by friendly team.trigger,bob,and owner andrew and his son tom,very professional.emma and gail in office very good,love it.

seeing lakes and nature like ducks in the morning was brillant .The place was very quite and peaceful and relaxing .the staff and owners was very friendly .the walks we went on was very relaxing and some good views .

Had a fab time, the lodge was really clean and comfy, and my husband and grandson had a good time fishing.

Lovely lodge I have stopped in it for 5 years now shame there is still no scissors in it l expect the fishermen keep pinching them

Lovely lodge, spotless, well equipped and located in a beautiful quiet park next to a lovely lake and so close to nature.

Was a brilliant base for visiting attractions near by . Good well come pack and log starter pack

Good facilities, just noted some wear and tear looks like must have had inconsiderate past guests to some surfaces (freddy kruger and edward scissorhands week off?

) easily overlooked though.

Well maintained and presented, well positioned as I am an Angler.

Good access with slope up to the main door. Plenty of equipment and facilities for a pleasant stay. Hope to book this lodge again in the future. Many thanks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

the lodge itself was clean and well equiped,the complex is undergoing big changes and looking a lot better than last time i went,good pathways,garden areas looking good,grass cut regularly,all staff on site are happy to chat and offer help and advice,good fishing at your door.

.will be back next year for sure

Lakeside Lodge is lovely and comfortable but it wasn't cleaned properly , crumbs on work surfaces in kitchen , cobwebs inside fridge door and when we opened the bedroom.

Window I had to brush inside the casement as it was full of dead insects and cobwebs , the channel on the threshold to the back door was full of dirt but due to the fact that there isn't a vacuum cleaner in the lodge it had to stay that way all week , we had to clean the floors with a brush and a tiny rechargeable car vacuum, when I asked Tom why there wasn't a vacuum he said because they get stolen , I suggested having one in the office and have a deposit system. The kitchen is well past needing replacing and is very dark despite using tbe extractor hood light , the shower is tiny so if you are of heavy build I wouldn't book this lodge .We did enjoy our stay as we love Bowland lakes and Lakeside Lodge is in a lovely location with views of the lakes and is perfect for duck watching and feeding .

What an amazing retreat, away from the hustle and bustle.

But if you want that sort of thing you are only 20 mins away from some amazing places. the property itself was very cosy. The welcome package was a pleasant surprise as well. Im not a fisherman but if you are there are not many places where you can walk out the front door and be greated with a well stocked pond. Flossie the dog (border collie loved it too). So many walks nearby, I've made this a favourite we could be coming back. It was so peaceful.

Overall ive had an excellent time.

the lodge was lovely ,the site staff and owners were lovely and friendly.peaceful and a beautiful location.i came here for the fishing and i caught many carp,tench,perch,ide,chub,grass carp and large bream.i cant wait to come again and would highly recommend this
