Ideal for those enjoying water activities. Garden is private and loved by our dog who had a great time there and at the lake. Stunningly beautiful area.

The property was beautiful and well equipped.

Just a short walk away is a private beach which is shared with the other properties on the complex. It was lovely to be able to sit down by the Lake and relax. Owner Richard was on hand with any issues. Highly recommend staying at Watersong.

I had the most wonderful stay at Watersong - it is truly an idyllic location.

I was most comfortable in the well equipped house and loved getting back after my walks to relax in the garden and listen to the birdsong - simple pleasures. I have done many breaks over the years - this one counts amongst the best - super weather, amazing walks and a beautiful cottage to return to......and private access to Coniston Water which my dog absolutely loved, particularly in the early morning and late evening - with stunning views of the lake and fells. Richard was on hand to help with any issues and was most helpful....I'm planning on returning in the near future. Can't wait!

A beautiful setting with easy access to the lake.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had an excellent selection of cooking utensils. The bed was comfy and had nice bedding. A welcome pack was provided which we appreciated. At the private lake access are picnic tables and jetties, the views are outstanding across the lake. I managed to kayak a few times and enjoy the views. The host Richard was lovely and I would definitely love to return.

Lovely location had a great time

We have just come back from spending a week at this lovely property, on arrival there was a lovely welcome pack which included milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and popcorn, a really nice touch.

The accommodation itself was spotless and has everything that you need to cater for yourself, the location was the main reason that we booked this property and it did not let us down, its nestled in woodland and secluded from the other properties and just a short walk and you are at the lakeside which has several jetties from where you can launch your paddleboards/ kyacks and other crafts, there is even benches where you can just sit and watch the world go by. You can easily walk into Coniston itself and its about 30minutes, we ate twice at the Coniston Inn and the food is fantastic, but book your table as they get really busy. The only niggles that I have is that there is no small table in the property which makes relaxing in an evening with a drink a little difficult and also the late check in time ( not before 5pm) and early check out ( before 10am) you miss your first and last day, I appreciate that they have turnarounds to complete but I feel that this could be catered for a little better, would that stop me from booking again, absolutely not, I would highly recommend this property

My husband , dog Seve and myself stayed at watersong for a week and what a beautiful place it is to stay !

Cottage is clean , comfortable and well equipped . Owners were so friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us . The setting with the private jetty is amazing we were paddle boarding every day on the lake . Highly recommend this little gem of a place to stay !!!

Watersong was the perfect place for a relaxing get away.

First class accommodation with everything you could ever need. The location is great, away from it all on the bank of Coniston Water yet close enough to walk to the village. We would definitely recommend Watersong.

Watersong was very clean and cosy.

As a cook, I really appreciated the very well equipped kitchen. We loved being able to take the short walk to the lakeside. Next time we'll have to bring kayaks. The location was ideal for exploring the area. Isaac was welcoming and delightful. It was thoughtful of him to arrange a display of the aurora on our last night which was magical.

The property was in a lovely location but only suitable for two people.

We found the lighting in the main kitchen/living space poor so would advise perhaps a standard lamp at the lounge end of the room. The can opener didn't work so we had to buy our own. We suggest either a hose pipe or bowel for washing off the dog. Also we found the two gates a nuisance especially in the pouring rain, particularly the gate onto the road which is on a bend. However, we enjoyed our stay although a little pricey for such a small lodge. The nibbles and wine were a nice touch

Wow, this is a wonderful location.

Rarely, have we ever thought of going back to stay in the same accommodation but Watersong has stolen our hearts. Evening drinks sitting in awe of the beautiful lake Coniston is a memory firmy locked in my mind. Thank you to the lovely Richard and his wife for a very nice bottle of red and snacks.

Excellent property as a base to walk from, access the lake and drive to the southern lakes.

High spec in a stunning location.

Watersong was a delight to stay in, very comfortable and cosy, access to the Lake side was a bonus, the owner was very friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend this property, thanks for a lovely stay in your property, Excellent.

Slipped on stone-clippings upon which the garden seats are positioned and broke my right hip, resulting in a week in hospital and an operation for a replacement hip CParker MBA BSc(Hons)

Watersong is a lovely lodge within its own peaceful grounds overlooking the lake.

Lots of great walks from the lodge and an easy walk into the village if you want a car free break. The lodge has everything you could possibly need and is very cosy and comfortable. We would highly recommend Watersong and are looking into a return stay.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location.

The cottage was spotless when we arrived, the Christmas tree lights were on and a bottle of fizz for New Years Eve. The location was brilliant, lovely being able to walk our dog down to the lake and very close to Coniston for all the shops. We will definitely be booking to come again.

Private and secluded with beautiful views , Great for exploring and enjoying The Lakes with everything within driving distance or public transport. We will definitely be returning to Watersong.

The property is located in a fantastic spot, very private and has fantastic views.

The property is dog friendly, but unlike other dog friendly properties we have stayed in, the property was immaculately clean and tidy. Welcome bottle of wine and snacks was a lovely gesture, and having met the owner personally, I would recommend this property to anybody. As Arnold said..."I'll be back" Thanks.

Great location and it was brilliant having access to the Lake for paddleboarding.

It wasn't the best weather but still had a wonderful time. The cottage is a good size and has everything thing you need with a lovely private garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
