    The chalet was lovely and clean, and it has all the utensils you need for cooking. The lodge is in a perfect spot for the entertainment complex, and the lakeside. Thank you for having us.

Situated on the lovely White Cross Bay Holiday Park, on the glistening shores of Lake Windermere, is this delightful lodge.

Just on the outskirts of the village of Troutbeck Bridge, this holiday home is ideally located for exploring Windermere, Ambleside and the surrounding walking country.

It welcomes couples and friends to enjoy a peaceful setting.

The interior is immaculately presented with wooden floors, plush furniture and light colour schemes.

The kitchen is modern, offering everything you might need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Snuggle up in the lounge and relax into the evening after a hearty meal at the dining table.

Pour a glass of wine and take in the soothing atmosphere, after a day out on the fells.

The two bedrooms come with bedside lamps and a spacious feel inside, promising a well-earned rest after an evening stroll around the grounds.

The double bedroom boasts its very own en-suite shower room, whilst the twin is served by the shared bathroom.

Open up the double doors from the living room to the decking outside and take in the natural landscape - a couples haven!

Make the most of the on-site facilities including the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, gym and games area.

There is plenty to entertain all ages.

White Cross Bay has its own marina with direct access to the Lake, with some of the best boat launching in the area.

There is also tuition available for various water sports at the nearby Low Wood Bay Centre or in Bowness.

Troutbeck Bridge is a quiet village with a traditional local pub, serving real ales and fine food.

Nearby are the thriving towns of Windermere and Ambleside, with shops, pubs and cafes, as well as The World of Beatrix Potter, the summit of Orrest Head and mesmerising Rydal Water.

The small village of Troutbeck Bridge lies between the famous towns of Windermere and Ambleside, close to the renowned Kirkstone Pass, within the Lake District National Park. Made up of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, this quiet village offers a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. With destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, Troutbeck Bridge is an ideal location for exploring all that the region has to offer.
