    Nestled in along the lake, in the heart of the Lake District, the cabin offered the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, the view of Lake Windermere was stunning. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature created an incredibly relaxing atmosphere.     Nestled in along the lake, in the heart of the Lake District, the cabin offered the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, the view of Lake Windermere was stunning. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature created an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The cabin itself was beautifully designed cozy yet spacious, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and showcased the surrounding landscape. One of the highlights of the stay was undoubtedly the private hot tub. After a long day of exploring nearby walking trails and charming villages, soaking in the warm bubbles was the ultimate way to unwind. Inside, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had modern appliances, the living area was comfortable with soft furnishings and a warm, inviting feel, and the bedrooms were incredibly cozy. It felt like a true home away from home. The location was also perfect for exploring the wider Lake District. Whether it was scenic walks, boat trips on the lake, or visiting nearby towns for cafes, pubs and local shops, there was plenty to do within a short distance -ambleside, Keswick,bowness lovely places that we visited. Overall, this cabin stay was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature with the added luxury of a hot tub this is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the Lake District. I would highly recommend it to couples, friends, family or anyone wanting a tranquil getaway.

The property

Esk Pike is a delightful, single-storey lodge situated near Lake Windermere in Troutbeck Bridge, Cumbria.

This property boasts a hot tub, open-plan living, and three Smart TVs.

With designated, off-road parking for two cars, Esk Pike is idyllic for a family on their Cumbria getaway.

The open-plan living space welcomes you in after a successful day of adventure.

Put your well-trekked feet up in the sitting area with a film on the Smart TV as a delicious dinner cooks from an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, and fridge.

Dig in at an intimate dining table for four or dine alfresco on the decking furniture, then take advantage of the dishwasher.

Sink into the hot tub or sway in the outdoor swing seat as you watch the sun melt into the trees.

Rinse off the day in a shower room, then invite the night in a king-size or twin bed as a Smart TV narrates your bedtime story.

Explore your local surroundings with a visit to National Trust – Windermere and Troutbeck, take a dip at Millerground on the lakeshore, head up to find the finest views of England’s largest lake upon Queen Adelaide’s Hill or a scenic stroll through Holehird Gardens, spend the kids’ energy at Zip World Windermere at Brockhole, then top off the day with a bite to eat in one of the many pubs, restaurants, cafes in Bowness on Windermere, from here learn more at the Windermere Jetty Museum.

White Cross Bay

White Cross Bay holiday park nestles on the shores of Lake Windermere, midway between Windermere and Ambleside, in the Lake District National Park. Consisting of many lodges, it offers a restaurant, pub, shop, entertainment room, amusement arcade, indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, children's staffed activity centre, marina and outdoor play areas. Lake Windermere, the largest and most popular in the area, boasts a wide range of lakeside activities from walking and cycling to rowing, horse riding, taking a trip on the steam railway, plus lake cruises from Bowness to the pretty village of Ambleside and down to Lakeside, which has a celebrated aquarium. Children will also enjoy The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness-on-Windermere, where technology brings her characters to life, and Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, with its Treetop Trek aerial adventure is a short walk away from the site. With destinations including Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, this location is perfect for a Lake District holiday at any time of the year.

For thousands upon thousands of golfers Turnberry is simply one of the finest golf destinations in the world with nearby Kintyre, Prestwick and Royal Troon outstanding of the many courses in this golfing Mecca. The whole area is steeped in history, with historical monuments and castle ruins dotted along the coastline. Visitors can enjoy boat trips from Girvan harbour to the famous Ailsa Craig to see the gannets, enjoy spot of sea fishing or discover the floral gardens of Girvan. Touring opportunities abound with the Carrick Forest, pretty south Ayrshire villages such as Barr, Straiton and Barhill all within easy reach and Culzean Castle and Country Park is a must see of the many interesting features of the ‘Smuggler Coastline’.

One large towel and one small towel will be provided per person for the duration of their stay.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Park Rules and Operations – White Cross Bay

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.

Hot Tubs

For the comfort of other holidays guests we request that noise is kept to a minimum. Usage of the hot tub is between 10am and 10pm only. If you are found to breach these timings then you may be asked to vacate the park with no call for a refund.

All hot tubs are maintained to strict industry standards and HSE guidelines by separate qualified independent contractors on behalf of the property owners. This includes changing the water between guest stays and checking the water condition on a regular basis.

Whilst every effort is made to have a hot tub ready for immediate use by the arrival time stated, this may not always be possible. In such cases the hot tub will usually be ready to use later that day unless otherwise advised. In such cases no compensation or refund is payable unless the hot tub is faulty.

Information about using a hot tub safely is provided at all lodges with a hot tub and on a prominent notice near the tub. All hot tub users should wear an appropriate bathing suit. Usage of a hot tub is at a guests own risk and Lake District Lodge Holidays accepts no liability for anything which may happen to a guest as a direct result of using a hot tub.

Please note that there may be charges for mis-use of the hot tub.
