Unique Luxury Lodge

The lodge was beautiful well decorated and clean, had everything we needed.

Everything worked as it should and we had no issues with anything. Comfortable and cosy, mattresses on the beds were a little hard for our liking, but the whole place was perfect for us and we would definitely book again. We had a great stay.

Lodge very spacious, and most importantly very clean, decor tasteful.

The saucepans could do with replacing but that’s the only negative with this fantastic lodge. We wouldn’t hesitate about going back. Sweeties and Prosecco was a lovely touch. Great location.

We stayed at Unique Luxury Lodge for a week during May half term.

An absolutely beautiful lodge, with everything you could possibly need - including a washing machine that we weren't expecting. Tastefully decorated, very comfortable and with a lovely gesture of a welcome pack for our arrival. Great location on site in a cul-de-sac so no passing traffic other than for nearby lodges. The site itself is in a great location for exploring the local area (less than 10 minutes to Windemere, 15 minutes to Ambleside, 15 minutes to Bowness. Brockhole is walkable within 15 minutes or a few minutes by car) Due to the amazing weather we had, we were able to make the most of the very spacious terrace. A perfect stay and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning lodge beautifully decorated & amazingly comfortable.

We had amazing weather for our weeks stay just before Easter 2026 and sat on the decking area a couple of times which is furnished with the best seating we have ever had in a lodge, the only thing that was missing for us was a sun umberella which would definitely be needed in the Summer months. We will definitely return later in the year & could certainly recommend the lodge, Superb! a real credit to the owner.

We stayed in the unique luxury lodge for a week at the beginning of March.

We weren't disappointed! The lodge is beautiful, roomy, light and spacious. We found a wonderful welcome pack awaiting us upon arrival with an M&S bottle of prosecco, sweets, crisps, tea and coffee. The bathrooms were clean , bright and had the added bonus of bottles of shower gel and shampoo attached inside the shower. The lodge was very spacious and lovely and warm . Televisions in both bedrooms and plenty of storage space. We will definitely book again and can't wait to come back. Thank you

The property is fantastic and was exactly the same as the pictures.

It was great for hosting over the festive period due to the space inside the main living area. The outside terrace is a lot bigger than normal and would be perfect in the summer. Would definitely recommend this lodge and we would definitely book again as it is probably one of the best lodges we have stayed in. (The only thing I would suggest is to have a small hoover or battery hoover)

The lodge was beautiful and exactly as described.

The welcome pack & milk in fridge was a lovely touch and made our visit extra special. The lodge is located in a lovely park, my only disappointment with this was access to the pool onsite. As we hadn’t booked through Park Dean they do not take booking for swimming, they just recommended we turned up for swimming session and hopefully there would be space for us, unfortunately there wasn’t so had 2 disappointed kids. My only complaints on the lodge itself was the bedroom blind doesn’t close properly and the toilet in ensuit once flushed ran water constantly which wasn’t great during the night. All in all was a great experience and would return to this lodge.

The ensuite toilet float setting needs adjusting.

The ensuite shower is tiny and could easily accommodate a larger size. The patio doors need serious adjustment and even though our weather was great the patio was out of bounds because all the seating was wet and mouldy. Luxury title needs attention to detail.

We stayed at this lodge for a week in July and were very impressed with it and had a good holiday, it is situated in a quiet area of the park.

We have stayed in a few lodges here and this one lived up to it's name.

The lovely touches of welcome treats (for adults and child), the games to play and the lovely toiletries made it feel like a more luxurious stay. All slept well in comfortable rooms. The lodge is tucked in a nice quiet area, but not far from the play area. Nice and roomy with a good size outdoor decking. Just as a note - could maybe do with a mop/floor cloth providing for coming in from wet weather or drips on the kitchen floor. And an oven tray. There was some broken glass left on the dining table when we arrived.

Lots of little things wrong broken bin, outside seats were dirty,shower door hanging off , broken blind in single room.

The on site bar entertainment bit was filthy not a clean table and outside area was a disgusting.

We had a lovely holiday the cabin was fabulous.

Lots of room inside & out. The bed was very comfortable & lots of drawers & hanging space. It’s in a nice quiet location & lots to see & do. Just one or 2 little things we thought you might not know about. There was no spatula & the frying pan was bent so didn’t fit on the hob properly.

Lovely lodge, lacking basics!

No welcome pack, no instructions, no free view, no hairdryer, no mats for dining table, hairs on pillowcase, pen drawn on sheets

This was our first time staying at Unique Luxury Lodge and on the whole found it to be spotlessly clean except for the toilet in the en-suite.

This is a house keeping issue, however there was no cleaning products or cloths so we had to buy some. The smaller shower head leaks from the corner of the shower by the radiator. We feel that the settee, which we thought was uncomfortable (just our opinion) was too close to the wall mounted tv meaning we had to look up which made our necks ache. Maybe the settee could be moved back a bit. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. It’s just a five minute walk to the lake and a short drive to Bowness tho there is a bus service.

Perfect location, beautifully furnished.

A real home from home. Only issues were the fire which we didn't know we had to fill with water but 1 phonecall and engineers attended and got it working, then we were able to manage ourselves. Beds were a little uncomfortable for us ( matress too hard, personal choice but come home with aching back). Also quilts were not that warm but extra bedding was available. All in all we really loved the lodge and would definitely return.

Beautiful Clean lodge great location would highly recommend.

Nice and quite great outside area on the deck. We found out the shower cubicle leaks as it has not been sealed to the outside tiles. You could see where this had previously leaked, a quick fix of sealant should eradicate the problem. There was also a burn make on the master bedroom carpet near the bedroom door. The only other issue which is down to parkdean is that the bin store. it was messy and not cleared in the time we were there it was overflowing and a potential problem for vermin.

Our stay at Unique luxury Lodge we felt like home it was very comfortable atmosphere anyone wish to visit Lake District I strongly recommend this place it won’t disappoint you easy excess to the property.

Absolutely amazing perfect setting peaceful and quiet, defo rebook and come back. Only thing we found was base of oven wasn't clean as well as trays But won't stop us coming back thoo, Look fwd to our next stay

We couldn’t fault the lodge, very clean & everything you could need for a lovely stay.

Great location, bus stop just outside the gates of the park so we never used the car the whole time we were there. The park was very quiet but it was the end of April so not sure what it would be like during the busy summer months.

This is a lovely lodge, spotlessly clean and just as shown in the pictures.

We were very pleased. The location on the site is good, just a short walk to the club / facilities. The on site swimming pool can be busy at times so having free access to the nearby health club pool was a bonus if wanting to avoid this. The location of the site itself is great, right next to Brockhole which is a good day out, especially for children with tree top treks, boat hire, archery etc. Ambleside and Windermere itself are both 5 minutes away by car and have lots of shops, restaurants and bars + nature walks and waterfalls to explore. If you plan to eat in, the local shops are quite expensive so may be worth stocking up before you arrive. Overall, great lodge, great location, highly recommended.

We loved the luxury lodge as it was very easy for a family of 4 to stay in.

However access to a hoover would have meant I was able to keep the lodge cleaner whilst staying there as I have a 4 year old and 2 year old who create a lot of crumbs. I would have also been able to run the hoover round before leaving saving the cleaner a job. I do think that all bathrooms should have soap in them as well as it is a basic requirement.

The lodge was great.

Spotlessly clean and a great space. Everything seemed brand new. Main negative was the horrendous bin situation in the complex. All the bins were completely overflowing and you had to clamber over piles and bags of rubbish to get anywhere the bins. As there was only a tiny bin in the lodge, it meant several trips to the bins. I would also say that the lodge wasn't very child friendly with the glass table etc. but we had no issues.

The lodge was absolutely lovely.

Clean and in a great setting. The decking gets the sun all afternoon. Perfect.

Great stay at Langdale 1, this lodge is clearly brand new and therefore immaculate inside and out.

location within white cross bay is good, just a short walk to the main reception and clubhouse. Highly recommend.
