The location was great and the lodge had plenty of space.

The main issue was the cleanliness of the lodge. The sofa, chairs and cushions were dirty, stained and needed washed. The sofa was also extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty, particularly the toilet.

Modern interior but pre check-in clean could do with improvement.

Lack of food storage areas in the kitchen is a problem. No dustpan and brush that we could locate. Good central heating. Pretty rubbish service from Lake District Lodge Holidays however, leading up to check in. Directions to property location from them also need improvement.
