Hawthorn Croft

Really enjoyed staying at Hawthorn Croft,clean tidy lodge with everything we needed,the addition of a ramp was a real bonus to my wife.

Will be looking to return in the near future.

This is a beautiful and tranquil place with good access to various Lake District attractions.

The lodge is perfect for rest and relaxation. It is very well maintained to a high standard. The extra touches of gifts on arrival are really lovely. This was our second time and I’m sure we will visit again.

The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a cosy comfortable stay. The surrounding were gorgeous and felt secluded, even though we weren't too far away from shops, amenities etc. Loved the eco ethos of the park and lodge and how they've kept the wildness of the habitat. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and this rates very highly and we would return. 10/10

Upon arrival at the lodge, we felt instantly tranquil and relaxed.

The lodge is beautiful and had everything we needed. We arrived to some extra little treats from the owner which were a lovely gesture. The lodge is well equipped and extremely clean. The setting is stunning. The woodland and river provide an amazing backdrop. We absolutely loved our stay here and will return.

Everything was beautifully presented and provided for us. Little extras like the welcome basket and lakeland tolietries we really nice. The lodge is in the most beautiful tranquil setting. A perfect place to relax unwind and reboot. Thank you

We stayed in the lodge for a long weekend and could not have asked for a better property.

The lodge was clean, spacious and the site was very peaceful. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could need. On arrival we had a little welcome gift for us and treats for the dog. The attention to detail from the owners was fantastic, from coffee pods and locally produced toiletries, to the towel by the door to wipe the dog’s feet. Family members have already booked following our recommendation and we would definitely go back

This was an amazing lodge in a lovely tranquil location.

The attention to detail was very thoughtful from the cake, drink and milk on arrival to the information pack that was full with places to visit, food ideas and walks a plenty. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable a real home from home. Would definitely recommend and more to the point will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful midweek break at Hawthorn Croft, the lodge is immaculate and clean it is as though its brand new.

It is well equipped, comfortable and warm, the site is very peaceful and quiet would love to experience it in summer and take advantage of the patio area and grounds. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are very good. Thank you for the welcome gift for us and our dogs. Lots of walks in the area without having to use the car,lots of useful information in the lodge too. The only thing missing in my opinion is access to a vacuum cleaner, it would help keep the lodge clean especially with dogs. Will definitely be back.
