We had a great family stay in Willow over Easter.

The cabin was very clean, well kitted out and the hot tub was very well looked after. The clever layout ensures that you have good privacy in the cabin and hot tub. The owners came to greet us and were very friendly. The wifi service and TV provision was good. It was lovely staying on a working farm and the children especially loved seeing all the different animals. The location is just outside of Ulverston and walkable even with young children. It's only a mile to the John Barrow Monument via public footpaths. It was our second visit, we think it's a great place to stay. Our kids were a bit nervous around the dogs on the farm, which were very friendly but were jumping up a little. It is advertised as a dog friendly place and there are photos of the dogs on the listing, so it's to be expected. It wasn't a big deal for us but I'd just like to mention in case anyone reading is nervous around dogs. Thanks for the lovely stay!

We have just come back from a lovely stay at Willow.

The accommodation was brilliant, with everything we needed at hand. The hot tub was lovely and enjoyed by us and our two girls. The area around the accommodation was beautiful and the farm dogs were so lovely and kept our girls entertained for a long time. Overall I would recommend Willow for a stay, we spent a lovely time together as a family.

What an amazing place this is. We went just after Christmas and it was just perfect. Owners Ian and Sandy are so lovely, and their beautiful dogs made us smile so much! The pod is stunning, has everything you need, so clean, cosy and is the perfect place to relax. We can’t wait to be back! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful 3 nights here, we booked 2 pods for 2 couples.

Such a beautifully kept site, stunning views, quiet & peaceful surroundings. Lovely clean hot tub, the pods were fantastic, they had everything we needed, very well equipped, spotlessly clean & spacious. A great location to visit the lakes & various NT places, we found 3 fabulous places to eat out & we will definitely return - thank you!

We had a lovely stay in the Willow pod!

The hot tub was amazing, and they have someone check this over daily. It’s very easy to take off the cover and reapply. The views are nice from the tub itself. The kitchen inside was great for us, it had everything we needed. Note we didn’t have an over or dishwasher. The bed was comfy, and there is also a radiator inside so it keeps the pod lovely and warm. We had great nights sleep whilst we were here. Bathroom was great too, especially considering we were in a wooden pod! Shower was warm and fairly powerful. Ulverston town centre is around a 10 minute walk, and the centre is great. There are lots of artisan shops, galleries and coffee shops or restaurants. We enjoyed the chip shop! There are plenty of nearby walks too, walking to the Hoad Monument is good and close to the farm. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be visiting again! Special mention to the 2 dogs who came to say hello every morning - they were very cute!

Willow was clean and tidy with keys in the spot started so no issues getting in at all.

Directions were spot on too. Kitchen area is well equipped with a large fridge too, but no oven; so cooking is microwaveable rather than heat up. Two ring induction hob, toaster and kettle. Tons of hot water available. The bed for us was a bit uncomfortable. Hot tub was brilliant, checked daily and the owners two dogs checked ours out at the same time. Very peaceful and quiet area, just a few minutes from Ulverston. Would thoroughly recommend it if you want to explore the lakes, or just chill out.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and tidy.

We felt it was missing welcome pack and we found the bed uncomfortable. Luckily there was a sofa bed which we made use of. It was lovely to be able to take the dog with us and she made friends with the other dogs there and had a lovely time. Plenty of dog friendly places around and the people were lovely

Place is perfectly situated, each pod had beautiful view, privacy and was equipped with everything what we needed. Lovely Carol was looking after us and our hot tube. We will not hesitate to come back or recommend to our friends. :)

It was so peaceful! The pod was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing to come back to after a long day of walking. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay, really loved it.

The dogs were a nice wake up call and always came to us. Heating was really nice to come to, bathroom was really good too. Kitchen facilities, amazing. Great stay. Hot tub was good, definitely go in there at night - you’ll enjoy it.

First time I have tried anything like this and considering we were in the middle storm Darragh, we had an enjoyable time, plenty of places to visit with a short drive, Ulverston itself is a nice town.

The pod was very cosy and a lot of thought has went into the available facilities and utensils. I prefer a bit more space but again storm Darragh meant we could not relax in the ample outside space which would have made a big difference. Can't even comment on the hot tub. Overall I would recommend a 5 night stay in the summer.

We had such an amazing time at Sykes cottage.

The property was clean, our stay was so relaxed and the view was spectacular.

Just got back from a wonderful 5 days at Low Flan Farm staying in the Willow pod.

Pods bigger then they look, immaculate with all the accessories you need. Hot tub was great and cleaned every day. Great location feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere with Ulverston town just a 2minute drive. Owners lovely and helpful. Lovely peaceful stay and will be returning next year!

We have just come home from a week away at Lowflan Glamping pods.

What a Beautiful and peaceful place. On arrival we was met by the lovely hosts Carol and Ian. Really nice people and very helpful. There dogs Meg and Polly were an added bonus our kids loved them and so did we. The pods had everything you could need,were really nice inside and lovely and clean. The hot tub was an added bonus and a welcome treat after a long day Hiking. The pods are situated just outside Ulverston within walking distance of good restaurants, takeaways and pubs from which to choose. Also plenty of shops to get your essentials from.

The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed.

Carol was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The attention to detail in the cabin was a nice touch and husband popped up with some eggs from the free range chickens. The donkey was our alarm clock and absolutely loved being a part of a working farm. The views are stunning, jacuzzi great after a long walk and overall had a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend.

We only had a weekend but it was one of the best "holidays" we've ever had, and definitely want to return once more in this year.

Carol and Ian are a lovely couple, very friendly, helpful and caring just as their dog Meg who visited us every morning for a little indulgence. It's an absolutely stunning and peaceful place to stay not to mention the views you can enjoy from the hot tube if you want. We recommend this fantastic place for everyone who want to escape from their "everyday routine" for a few days....or more. We loved to be here. Thank you so much again to Carol & Ian.

Two great dogs who love to visit your pod throughout the day. Very friendly hosts to who are very kind and helpful.

We stayed in the willow hut what an amazing place the views are lovely, owners are fantastic especially little Meg the collie who quite often come and visited us for a fuss definitely come again and most definitely recommend to our friends and family Perfect little get away

Just back from a few days at the Willow, lovely get away, very nice and clean.

Gorgeous surroundings, not far from the town or into lake windemere. Our little girl loved seeing the animals everyday. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. :)

I really liked the area.

We were 5 min away from grocery stores in case you need something in the night . Also restaurants , pubs and etc. It’s a 20 min drive to Windmere Lake. The area is very beautiful, have breathtaking landscapes, quiet and peaceful for relaxing time. There are a lot of hiking trails around as well. Owners are super friendly and helpful. They guide us through the area and also let us come to the farm with my 4 years old daughter and watch farm animals life which was very cute and interesting. The lambs were so cute. Property is very new, neat and cosy. You can have breakfast there if you want and sit outside on the table as well. And yeah, hot tub was amazing, I loved sitting in the night under the stars in it, it was very relaxing. Highly recommend as very cool option for visiting the Lake District

This place was the perfect place for me and my boyfriend.

It was a 10 minute drive from the beautiful town. The hosts were extremely accommodating and showed us round all the farm animals! The farmer was so helpful during our stay and came everyday to make sure the hot tub was good. I will definitely be back ! The pods were spotless and the comfiest bed! My boyfriends exact words were it was magical and cozy. It was the break that we both needed !

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.

The location is good as you are a short drive away from a choice of hikes and the town centre is a 15 minute walk away. The hosts are very friendly, whilst leaving you to enjoy the peace they are also happy to help with any recommendations and directions into the town - genuinely happy to help. The pod itself is an ideal space, with plenty of room and equipped with everything you need. The hot tub was also ready to get into whenever you wanted and was nice to get into after a hike. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

A lovely property with great views and only about 25 min walk from the town of Ulverston.

The owners are very nice and friendly and the pod is well equipped and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights last week in willow, and we had such a great stay, clean comfortable and everything was there for us.

Was helped by the owners on walks around the area for the dog, easily accessible to the town was a great holiday we highly recommend!

What a beautiful relaxing place to stay, the owners are very friendly.

Every morning they came to test the hot tub and stay and have a chat, nothing was to much trouble for them. The first night we arrived they offered to pick us up food from the Chinese, which was very thoughtful of them after 6 hour drive. The pods are very well thought out,there is everything you need to make your stay pleasant. The hot tub is brilliant and relaxing.

The pod was beautiful, attractive and extremely clean, the facilities were maintained great.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I’d have no problems recommending this to others as it was in a really nice peaceful setting within the farm and only a short drive or 25 min walk into town.

We had the best time staying at willow!

! It’s a gorgeous, cosy little pod and perfect for what we were after. The scenery is beautiful and we loved having the cows in the next field to wake up to! Hot tub was spotless, as was everything inside the pod. Our hosts were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us - our kettle broke on our second day, and the farmer (I’m not sure of his name!) came straight away to fix it and brought it straight back. He also noticed that we had blankets on as we couldn’t work out how to work the heating - he said he would send Carol up to sort it out, and she was straight there to show us what to do, so friendly! The only thing that we would mention is that the mattresses are not the most comfortable - you can feel the springs and they’re noisy when you’re rolling over in bed, but it wouldn’t put us off staying again. I think if the mattresses were changed it would be perfect! Definitely would recommend. Thank you to our hosts.

we stayed for 3 night in Willow july 2023 found everything we needed for our stay, the pod was spottlessly clean, compfy and well equipped,only a short walk into ulvertson, were you could find all aminities close at hand, it was lovely to meet Ian & Carol they where very welcoming, even our dog Honey loved meeting Meg.

We thoroughly enjoyed the week's stay.

Carol and Ian were brilliant, gave us a really warm welcome and our 9 month cockapoo became a sheep dog for that week's stay. Loved the location, scenery and piece and quiet. Cows, Sheep and Donkey's were the best vocal noises to listen to whilst in the hot tub. Will be going back next year for sure A+++++++

I was expecting a great holiday and stay and I wasn’t disappointed.

Myself and my Partner had a really enjoyable time exploring places, however what made the break so special for us was how super well we were looked after by Ian & Carol at Low Flan Farm, the hospitality and friendliness was absolutely top notch and we were so impressed and grateful to of had the opportunity to stay in Willow Pod on the and to see all the lovely animals at the farm. Great views, peace & tranquility, clean & comfortable accommodation and the luxurious hot tub. (What more could you want). What can I say, we had the most amazing week at Lowflan Farm retreat.

Carol and Ian the owners are just so warming and friendly. Carol took our kids on a walk showed them all the farm animals. There is nothing they wouldn't do for you. The views just take your breath away. I can honestly say that they are friends for life. I can't wait to return. Thank you Carol and Ian for a holiday that I will never ever forget.

A beautiful holiday pod with great surroundings.

An ideal location for stargazing as there is no light pollution - we saw the ISS (International Space Station) and a number of satellites in the night sky from our hot-tub. Fresh eggs from the farm are simply delicious. Ulverston just a mile away (birthplace of Stan Laurel) - lovely village, and we recommend a walk up to the Sir John Barrow monument for 360 degree views for miles (from Blackpool Tower in the south to Skafell Pike in the North). We highly recommend Low Flan Farm.

The most amazing stay with gorgeous views!

The pod itself was cosy, clean and well equipped, the hosts at Low Flan Farm was very welcoming and helpful. Carol showed us around her farm letting us meet some of the animals and even brought round a present and a card for my partner as it was his birthday while we was there. The pods are only a short walk to plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants and are in a perfect location for walks and activities. I never wanted to leave and I can’t wait to return to Low Flan Farm and make more amazing memories.

Me and my husband came here for my 30th birthday, it was the most amazing experience.

It was so clean upon arrival! Not one spec of dirt to be found. The Farm and surrounding areas were beautiful very picturesque. The hosts were second to none they helped at every opportunity they could I even got a guided tour around all the Animals at the farm and got to cuddle the baby lambs! Everything about this place is perfect if you’re wanting to escape the real world and just chill, I honestly didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to go back!

Willow is the perfect place for a getaway.

It is of a high standard with cleanliness and decor. The surrounding views are serene and breath taking. The location is great as you get the tranquility of the countryside, yet the local shops and restaurants are only a walk away if you wanted to venture out.

! Such a great experience, we were celebrating our honeymoon, lovely place, really clean, romantic atmosphere, we had such an amazing time!! We totally recommend this place, and for sure we’re going to come back.

The location was fantastic with great views and situated with easy access to Ulverston and beyond.

The glamping pod & hot tub were spotless and comfortably accommodated the four of us.The owners were friendly and my oldest had a tour around the farm looking at the newborn lambs. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

We had an absolutely brilliant time and stay at the pods.

Own jacuzzi was a major bonus. It was spacious and lovely cutlery was provided. Not too far from windermere and ambleside. Ian and Carol were so friendly and helpful, they even showed us their farm animals. They recommended lovely places to eat like Rose and crown and the mill. We have just had a gorgeous 5 night break in these stunning pods.

The facilities are great and the pods are spotless. The surrounding area is beautiful and there and plenty of great walks and beaches. The hot tub was amazing and extremely clean. The location is peaceful and really quite but is also close village for amenities. Carol the host was so welcoming and did everthing she could to make our stay outstanding. We will definitely be returning!
