The property

Perched on the popular South Lakeland Leisure Village site on the outskirts of Carnforth, Lancashire, is this wonderful lodge, 3 Yealands.

Enjoying a fantastic location within easy reach of the Lake District National Park, and benefitting from a wealth of on-site facilities, including an on-site bar and restaurant, heated indoor swimming pool, health and fitness centre, beauty spa, and activities including sailing and fishing, 3 Yealands is a fabulous pet-friendly choice for six.

Upon arrival, you will find off-road parking for two cars, along with a private decked area where you can bathe on the sun loungers or enjoy evenings dining alfresco.

Inside, you will be welcomed into a light and airy open-plan living space, where you can cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, ready to enjoy your meal at the dining table for six over a bottle of wine.

After dinner, kick-back and relax on the plush seating in front of the electric fire, as your favourite show plays out on the wall-mounted TV.

Continue through to find a well-appointed bathroom, where you can indulge in a soak in the bath or freshen up under the overhead shower.

Capernwray 2.4 miles; Lake District National Park 11.6 miles.

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
