    “Lodge not on actual site have to cross road and 5 min walk to get to amenities.”

    Also pictures of lodge not accurate, was expecting a large fridge freezer as stated in pictures so bought all our own food for the week only to find a small fridge freezer which we struggled to get food into. Also 3 seater settee had been changed for a uncomfortable 2 seater dirty leather one, things like this should be stated and photographs updated. No toilet roll holder in bathroom, Such a shame because could be a lovely lodge just needs some TLC.

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
