The property

Located on South Lakeland Leisure Village in Warton, Lancashire, is this attractive, single-storey lodge, 67 Gressingham.

Resting near a peaceful lake and enjoying a decked area to unwind with your family and friends, this two-bedroom lodge makes a wonderful escape to Lancashire.

On arrival, park up in the off-road parking space before stepping into your holiday home, where you will find a washer/dryer to keep your wardrobe fresh.

To the left, discover the open-plan living space; here you can kick back and relax on the sofa with a cup of tea and escape into a good book or flicker through the TV for a film night.

The contemporary kitchen area hosts an electric oven and gas hob to prepare mouth-watering dishes, which can be enjoyed at the dining table for four.

Throw open the patio doors to soak in the sun on the decked area and why not uncork a bottle of wine to savour a glass?

As the sun begins to set, retire inside and locate the bathroom to indulge in a bubble-bath or discover the double bedroom with an en-suite shower room for a hot rinse.

There is also a twin bedroom with ample storage, as well as a TV for a movie beneath the covers.

Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee out of the decking; afterwards a short stroll will lead you to Waters Edge Restaurant for home-cooked meals.

Explore your surroundings and visit Warton Crag Local Nature Reserve for a countryside ramble and immerse in the past at the 13th century Leighton Hall Estate.
