“Beautiful resort, lovely lodge, so peaceful, and if you are up early enough in the morning, you can walk right around the lake and see lots of wild rabbits.”
My family had a great time. The beds were so comfortable that I slept like a log every night. I would highly recommend driving up to lakeside at the bottom of Lake windermere where there is an aquarium,steam train and a boat that will take you up to Bowness or you can go further if you want where it has beautiful scenery. Also, a 30-minute walk away is Greenland Farm Village, which is a lovely day out and can have a game of crazy golf.
