“Having stayed in sykes rentals for a number of years, this is by far the worst and needs removing from sykes until the issues are resolved.”

No welcome info, guidance on useful numbers, in case of an emergency etc. No Internet the whole weekend, raised this on the Saturday morning, just to receive a kurt message from a Chris whoever is this was to say the code had been emailed with the booking. This was in fact incorrect as the code was in the lodge, but the Internet didn't work with it, which is what we had advised. There was no way of contacting the owners, even though sykes complaints tell you to do this first. The Internet was not sorted leaving us with no option but to add very expensive data. The handle in the bathroom is broken, meaning my wife got stuck in there. We now know this has happened to previous visitors but has not been repaired. The kitchen tap and sink leak pouring water through the under of the lodge. It's full.of stagnant water that stinks- again this is clearly k own about as the wooden panels have been removed, but the matter not resolved. There is no hairdryer, no iron or ironing board, no bottle opener, no kitchen scissors, and 1 kitchen knife that was broken. The blind in the twin room dowant open. The cleaning also left a lot to be desired- sticky ring.marks left in the tables and the coasters filthy. There was dust all around the TV and fire, with a huge cobweb in the ensuite. This is certainly not the standard of South Lakeland at all, Park Dean maybe!
