    “We spent a lovely week at lakeside haven, the property was immaculate and had everything we needed for a holiday, it was just like a home from home.”

    The beds and sofa were very comfortable and there was everything we needed to make meals in the kitchen. It was well thought out for providing what guests will need during their stay. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Lakeside Haven is a delightful lodge settled into a holiday park in Warton, near Carnforth.

With close by facilities and ample amenities, this lodge is ideal for a family looking to explore Lancashire.

Park off-road next to the property and be welcomed into an open-plan living space, a light and airy social hub where guests can make the most of the kitchen and cook up a storm.

Enjoy a meal around the dining table, before settling into the sitting area for a movie marathon.

Outside there is the option to dine alfresco on the patio.

When sleep calls, freshen up in the bathroom, taking a relaxing soak in the tub or a warm shower, before cosying up for the night in one of the two well presented bedrooms.

Choose between a double with a walk-in wardrobe, bay windows, and an en-suite cloakroom, and a twin.

The property rests in the countryside and is close to a selection of lakes, including Pine Lake, where guests can make the most of the watersports facilities available, or even try out fishing.

CARNFORTH

Capernwray 2.4 miles; Lake District National Park 11.6 miles.

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
