Had a lovely few days in idyllic surroundings,lovely views and a friendly warm welcome.

Much appreciated milk tea and cake on arrival.Would visit again and safe area for our Jack Russel.

One of the most relaxed holidays I've had.

Lovely walks, pub nearby with friendly staff. Robert and Jane on hand should you need anything. Loved just watching the farm animals in the evening with a cool drink and a friendly chicken for company. Brough castle well worth a visit too. Looking forward to a return visit.

Fantastic location, ideal enclosed area for our dogs.

The mobile home was excellent; a lovely welcome pack and a heat wave and no rain. people at hand if needed bit not obtrusive. We would like to book again if we can get in ??.Warcop is down the road, but for shops and all ameneties its Appleby about 4 miles west on A66.

The caravan was comfortable and provided everything we needed.

The beds were comfortable and the shower room efficient. The lounge area provided plenty of space for the three of us. The surroundings are quite lovely with views to the hills on one side and a range of animals on the other, which provided great entertainment. The accommodation is on the outskirts of a very attractive village and within easy reach of places of interest such as Appleby, Brough, Kirkby Stephen. The hosts are pleasant. The caravan provides a good base for a country holiday.

We had a brilliant week at Row End Farm even though the weather wasn't too good.

It was in a lovely place and the villa's owners were very accommodating. Couldn't have asked for better.

This is a little gem.

If you're looking for 5 star luxury and an action packed break this is not the place for you but if you want to get away from everything and need some peace. This is the place for you. The caravan is clean but not modern in style. Its homely and you feel you can really relax. Its in a field which is fenced so great for dogs. There is goats sheep and chickens in the surrounding fields. The village has a great play park for kids literally 2 mins walk away and some lovely walks. Its a short drive to the nearest town with supermarkets and coffee shops. We will definitely be back soon.

The spot is gorgeous, very quiet, and just what you need to get away from it all.

40 min drive to windermere, 25 mins to penrith. The caravan isn't a posh plush thing, but it had everything we needed, towels and bedding were clean and fresh, good sized fridge if you were staying any length of time and needed to stock up, think it is probably due a good top to bottom clean as I expect it's been well used this year and perhaps the time is better spent with the owners animals, we had a lovely sunset and sunrise ever day, sheep in the fields as soon as we opened the curtains and two cheeky little pigmy goats that were adorable. It was lovely. The garden was fenced off and our rotty loved it, she was inquisitive of the animals but never barked once she would have probably played with the goats in fact , we would visit again and we don't ever usually go back as we like to Try new places but it was just a rest from the boring normal , ooh and we had a lovely cake provided in arrival too, tea coffee etc.

Such a fantastic stay.

Very well equipped with lots of leaflets for local places to visit which was very helpful. The garden was extremely secure and great for the dog to run around. An amazing and peaceful way to visit the Lake District

Lovely location on the edge of a quiet village and for access to the Pennines and Northern Lakes.

Great,.secure garden for our dog. Well equipped caravan, a little dated but clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Friendly owners.

The caravan was comfortable and had everything you need for your stay. There were lots of things to do nearby and it was great having the animals surrounding the caravan...particularly a very friendly chicken!

Lovely, comfortable and clean accommodation in a beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed staying on the working farm, seeing and hearing the surrounding farm animals, and the natural wildlife was a wonderful experience! The hosts were most friendly and provided us with what we needed to help us enjoy on our 2 week break.

A lovely little caravan with nice views of the farm and animal.

A secure garden, perfect for the dog and children. I’m a perfect spot for the north Pennines, Lake District and Yorkshire dales. My only thing is the caravan could be a bit cleaner, eg light shades and a bit of dust here and there but over all we loved our holiday and the caravan was a perfect stop to rest after our days of walking.

A lovely time was had at Row End farm , the property was clean and comfortable and with a very nice view , a lovely welcome pack was waiting for us and the dogs.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly, would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed a lovely Easter 4 night stay at Row End Farm caravan.

Amazing views and only 30 minutes from the lakes. Friendly hosts are on hand if needed. Caravan is an older model but well maintained. Beautiful shower room, new oven, comfy beds and has everything you need for good holiday. Enjoyed watching the farm animals and would definitely return.

Nice quite location away from people on the edge of a farm.

Animals all around with nice views. Not to far from a main road that can take you to the heart of the Lake District in under 30 minutes. Not far from various shops and points of interest. We would happily stay again if visiting the area.

Good location for visiting the Peak District,The lakes, Yorkshire Dales And the Pennines .

Carlisle not to far away and very interesting place to visit. Grandchildren loved been on a farm. Caravan was little out dated but was ok for what we needed it for. Will use it again if ever up that way.

Lovely stay, exactly what we were looking for, enclosed garden perfect for pets.

Owners and family were really friendly and on hand if you needed anything. We will be returning next year.

There was limited cooking facilities.

The cooker was not working and had been replaced by airfryer, microwave and halogen cooker. We managed because there was only two of us, but a family of four would have struggled. Children would have enjoyed seeing the animals close too and there was plenty of room for them to run about.

The caravan is very dated with a number of small issues such as black mould, shower door broken, large step up into shower, cupboard door handles missing, oven not working properly (air fryer and halogen fryer supplied as replacement).

Outside the woodwork on the veranda was rotten in places and the washing line was broken. The setting was lovely quiet and peaceful.

Basic accomodation, clean and comfortable, my dog loved the enclosed garden, on the owners farm who were lovely and there if needed but not in your face, caravan surrounded by fields with sheep, goats, ducks, rabbits, very peaceful.

We had a lovely week at the caravan surrounded by beautiful views and farm animals.

Patio was nice to sit out & admire the view. Caravan was spacious and very cosy, yes the oven didn't work but the hob did & there was a ninja airfryer & a microwave so wasn't a problem for us. The caravan is equipped with everything you need which saves on packing everything from the kitchen. Tv for rainy days & nights & wifi was excellent. Owners we're very friendly & helpful . Can't wait to book again. Had a fabulous week exploring the lakes

A beautiful location and an old but very comfortable caravan.

Fantastic views and lovely being up close to nature. Facilities in caravan basic but functional. Broken oven could be an issue for some people but we managed with the air fryer and didn't miss it. Would have benefited from some cleaning equipment (e.g. hoover, toilet brush etc). Weather wasn't kind to us and there are patches of mud near the caravan but again not an issue for us just something to be prepared for. We're sad our holiday is over and we'll miss waking up to see the bunnies hopping around with the baby lambs whilst the horse and goat cuddle up together all outside the windows.

It is a very natural and relaxing place to be, with quick access to the surrounding countryside via the A66.

Great place to stay, peaceful.

Owners are friendly and helpful, animals on the farm are friendly. Local pub just over a mile away, nice friendly pub. Will definitely be returning.

Brilliant little place for the perfect recharge break.

Plenty of nature trails, sounds and views to soothe the tired minds. Goats, sheep, chickens and horse was plenty of entertainment for the children

A nice static caravan property in a really nice & quiet location, with your own enclosed lawn area.

Great also to be in close proximity to some entertaining farm animals, a horse, 3 goats, 2 sheep, and lots of chickens! A basic standard of holiday accommodation, but clean and comfortable and containing pretty much all that you need. Nice friendly and helpful owners and I consider this property to be real good value for money. I would stay again for sure.

We had a wonderful welcome, a sample of a fantastic lemon drizzle cake and a fresh pint of milk that awaited us when we arrived, just in time for a well earned cuppa.

The village and surrounding area was so peaceful and quiet with great views across the valley. easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales, and the southern edges of Co Durham also easily within reach. The site gave an excellent base to venture in either direction for a great day out.
