Our accommodation was lovely, clean and very welcoming.

Can’t fault it

Our first impression of the lodge was a little disappointing.

The outside decking area wasn’t clean and had quite a few spider webs, making it look as though it hadn’t been maintained for some time. Compared with the other lodges nearby, which looked clean and well kept, it didn’t create the best first impression. Once inside, however, the experience was completely different. The lodge was spotless, modern, and appeared to have been recently refurbished. Everything we needed was provided, and all the amenities were in excellent condition. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome items, including bread, milk, margarine, and complimentary drinks in the fridge, although we don’t drink alcohol. The only real downside was the Wi-Fi. We’ve stayed in many lodges over the years, and this was by far the poorest internet connection we’ve experienced. It was very unreliable and made it difficult to stay connected. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the clean and comfortable interior, but improving the upkeep of the outside area and the Wi-Fi would make a big difference to the overall guest experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evermore Lodge.

The joining instructions were very clear. The accommodation was very clean and spacious for the two of us. The kitchen was well appointed. We appreciated the bottle of Proseco on arrival and the basic provisions in the fridge. We liked the location and ease of the woodland walk to the lake. As improvements we would suggest provision of a airer to dry towels and clothes as well as a shower mat as the shower base was extremely slippery and potentially dangerous. Finally the Wifi was quite weak resulting in the smart TV often buffering.

Outside appearance off putting as decking in poor condition and very slippery. Some of the wood rotten. Outside furniture covered in green algae and not usable.

Had a lovely few days in evermore lodge, on arrival access to the property was easy using the key code system.

Inside the property was clean and welcoming, had everything we needed for our mid week break, and everything we used was in good working order. Lovely big veranda outside with plenty of outdoor furniture.

What a brilliant holiday.

i booked this for my parents and son. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a problem with the heating and electricity. Not a problem for the owner. They got in touch straight away and organised another lodge for the duration of the holiday. Can not praise them enough for there help. Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Everything you need is there .bedding and towels included and a nice welcome pack

This was the perfect stay for our little family the lodge is beautiful provides everything you need with extras on top which just makes the stay even more special, it’s in the perfect location and great facilities on site to use, the lodge is so cosy we will definitely be rebooking for summer to make use of the outside patio, thank you for the best new year getaway, there was a boiler breakdown on the last day however the owner was helpful in trying to help I believe it was an onsite issue and as it was only a few hours it was fine and didn’t ruin stay x

The weather was very wet but the lodge was very cozy so made it bearable.

Very clean and well equipped although a microwave would be useful as not always wanting to cook from scratch when on holiday. Also a map of the site would be useful to find refuse/recycle bins. These are by no way criticisms, just thoughts. Definitely would rebook.

The Lodge was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

Only a couple of issues that stood out during our stay was the kitchen had no microwave and fridge was freezing over also a few cracks in the walls. These issues did not impact our stay and we would stay here again.

Nice quiet part of the site .

When you got to the cabin not a good impression to start very slippy on the decking due to all the leaves not been cleaned on the outside windows dirty . On entering looked good but there was a smell went into the toilet it was a smell from the drains had to run the water and put bleach down the sink and the toilet not to bad after that also the shower needs reselling black mould around edges the toilet needs attention due to it move when you sit on it .went to use the hoves to clean the leaves up in the hall and the rest of the cabin the where both flat and full of dirt don't know from when.It was a pity as it I placed in a good area to visit different places .
