What guests are saying
Lack of fresh towels over the week- not enough bins nearby to put rubbish in on site.
The service at the bar and restaurant got progressively worse over week due to staff shortages-
Loved our time at the Lodge.
Inside was clean and really comfortable. Thanks so much for the Prosecco and provisions, really lovely gesture. Positioning of Lodge was ideal. Short walk to the entertainment and lake. Love quiet spot. Only slight negative was the condition of the decking and the WiFi was not great. Although with being where we were I wasn't expecting 5g so can't really complain. Thanks again.
Great property, would give 4.
5 stars if I could. Comfortable, well equipped, good outside space, nice bathroom. Why not 5 stars - toilet wasn't properly bolted down and door lock didn't work, no blind in toilet / shower, storage (lack of) a problem, had things stacked up in the kitchen area all week and they were just in the way, hob burners ferocious and burned everything even on minimum, WiFi near enough unusable. However, would definitely book again as we can work round most of the issues and the excellent setup makes it a great place to go back to to chill after a busy day exploring the lakes.
