Very basic lodge, dirty, windows full of hand prints.

Toilet seat in en-suite broken, hot tub in full view no privacy at all so wasn’t used. Lodge very dated

The property is very tired in places.

The oven is disgusting and needs cleaning. We only cooked once and also had to rewash a pan because it had been put back in the cupboard as dirty. Only 3 gas rings working on the hob. One of leather chairs is very tardy. Lampshade in living area is torn in various places. Backs on dining rooms are broken. Bath waste needs to be cleaned out. Cannot fill basin in bathroom as plughole broken. Very disappointed considering the amount we paid for one week.

The lodge has a lovely view of Lake Windermere.

The family and I enjoyed our 3 night break. The lodge could do with a deeper clean in the bathroom, along skirting boards and window frames.
