This is a really nice lodge in a quiet area.

Very clean and well maintained. Will try and book this again if not too expensive

The lodge was clean, comfortable and modern has everything you could need for your stay also the hot tub is 10/10 will definitely return in the future

This was our second visit to Badger's Hollow at White Cross Bay.

We love the site and the lodge is situated in a quiet cul de sac. The lodge was comfortable and well appointed and we loved the hot tub.

The only thing we picked up on was the water pressure in both bathrooms was really poor and in the kitchen too.

The main shower also went cold quickly and didn't retain hot water. The lodge is beautiful though dressed very well & I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend too family and friends.

Stayed in this lodge a couple of years ago, and it didn't disappoint again last week.

In fact, it looked like some things had been updated to a high standard, including one of the bedrooms. Everything in the lodge is beautifully presented, it is so clean, fresh and extremely comfortable. It's in a really nice position in the park too. Will definitely book again later in the year.

Nice stay at Badgers Hallow Lodge.

Weather although was hit and miss more hit than miss. But this is the British weather after all. Everything as described. Although it does need to show and mention the kitchen area. I have mobility issues and was not expecting steps inside the Lodge. Or tbe setup of the inside. Felt isolated and away from the lounge area while in the kitchen. So for me although nice I would not be returning as I need a flat area to walk around.

The lodge was beautiful and the location/weather was fantastic during our stay.

We will definitely be staying again in the future.

We had a great couple of days recently at Badgers Hollow.

The lodge was clean and comfortable, the hot tub was great, although the weather was so nice we were barely in it! The key pick up/drop off was super easy. Would stay again. Only issue we had was we struggled to find it at first, but that was more our fault for not stopping in at reception for a map!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Downside was we tried to call maintenance who failed to answer phone and message I left which isnt great.

A return visit for us to this great lodge.

Well equipped, clean and in a good location. White Cross Bay resort is in a lovely setting and well maintained. The hot tub is a nice way to relax after a day's exploring of the Lakes. We love the fact the decking is completely enclosed so we could just let the dog out without worry. Absolutely no complaints from us and we will definitely be back.

The best lodge we’ve stopped at in the Lake District.

Very very nice. No complaints from us. We had a power cut there, Sykes were round with their maintenance team within 20mins and had it fixed and that was at 6pm. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at badgers hollow it was an home away from home.

The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need the lodge was georgous and the hot tub a wonderful treat after long days exploring the lakes. We would definitely recommend to others and will be back ourselves to stay.

Fantastic property and location and have been back to the property twice.

Absolutely gutted it’s changed to one dog only now after having two fabulous stays with our two small dogs. Very disappointing that we won’t be able to visit again :(

The lodge inside was beautiful and the decor lovely, very clean and everything you need couldn't fault it, the hot tub was great the grandchildren loved it.

If there was anything that could be improved it would be the outside appearance, a touch of varnish and the decking was in need of a clean around the hot tub area was thick with leaves, I understand it's Autumn but a fresh look outside would benefit the property. Still had a fabulous stay, thankyou

Once we found the cottage and settled in we had a look around my wife took a video to send to our family she only does this if she likes what she sees, I must admit it was better than I expected.

It was clean warm and as we had a long drive we settled in with some food and a wee glass of wine. The cottage has everything u would need for Ur break I would recommend the cottage for your holiday. There's a couple of things that I would like to see improved as published before we booked the WiFi isn't great so that wasn't a surprise but it is poor took my wife and hour to send a twenty second video but as we are of an age where that's not a big deal it wouldn't take away from our enjoyment. And a small thing it took us 40 minutes to find the cottage and we drove past the entrance a few times a wee sign just before that entrance would help.

The lodge was fabulous.

Cosy and clean and well maintained. Kitchen had ample utensils, pots, pans etc. The 2 bathrooms was ideal fir us as 2 couples. The location is ideal for exploring the lakes. Bus stop right outside the park is perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub for a relaxing evening , however, the jets are not good ( no power in them) and the pump is very loud when using which made us a little conscious of disturbing the neighbours so didn’t stay in it for long but still enjoyed our stay.

We loved the hot tube.

The lodge was ok however the cleaning staff have let you down.

I have taken pictures if you require them. I understand the lodge accepts dogs, we took ours, french bulldog. When we arrived we had to sweep the floor, it was full of long black dog hair. We swept up three times, all long black dog hair. There was cobwebs in the bedrooms and kitchen, lots of dust on the skirting board in the bathroom. Black mould around the windows in the bedroom, black mould on the back of the bedroom curtains, the bathroom door in the ensuite is filthy and water damaged, the ensuite drain needs looking at as it overflows. If I wanted to be really picky the blinds need cleaning. Had we known it was park of Park Dean we probably would not have booked as there was just two adults and no children. The restaurant was not very clean, the carpet hadn't been hooved the whole time we were there, 6 nights, we left a night early. The tables were sticky however three members of staff, Malcolm, Connor and Ellie were very nice and helpful. The ladies toilets had no hand soap in them for days, the gentleman's toilets were disgusting. We booked this as a chilled weekend because I have been through a year and a half of chemotherapy and my immune system is compromised, Park dean did not help in any way by being dirty!

Property is in need of some maintenance.

Both entry doors have had issues in the past so part of the locks have been cut out, reducing security. Attention to detail on finishing touches. Hot tub made some terrible noises, I would estimate pump issues. It started running during the night waking us up. Cleaning of the property was not acceptable. We found medication, in the form of tablets, under the table, pleased we found this medication before our dog. We will not be booking this lodge again

We had a fabulous stay at this lodge, it is clean, has everything you need for a sc holiday and we loved relaxing in the hot tub and soaking up the sun on the veranda.

The bedrooms are a little tight but we managed and the bed was to hard for me but thats preference. We would love to return in the future.

We just got back from staying there.

What I can say is that it's clean, fragrant, and comfortable to stay because you can feel the homeliness of the place. There are just a few things that need improvement - the bed is a bit hard and uncomfortable on the back. The fridge has a slight issue with dispensing ice cubes, but there's an ice bag provided inside the freezer. Apart from that, I would still recommend it because we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Thought the property was lovely as just as stated.

It was well equipped with more things than I would’ve expected so that was another lovely surprise. We did drop something that went under the sofa and when we pulled it out to get it , it was very dirty under there so that’s probably the only downside . Would definitely recommend

It was very clean, comfortable and cosy and was situated in a nice quiet spot but not far from the leisure complex. It had everything we could need to make it a fantastic holiday. The site is lovely and is a great base to get out and explore. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely lodge, very clean and relaxing.

Hot tub was amazing after the long walks. The couple of problems we had were dealt with straightaway. Also a great location to get out and about with a bus stop right outside. Will definitely be coming back.

Brilliant lodge, everything we needed for a weeks stay.

Had one issue that was resolved immediately. Lovely location and very peaceful. On an early morning walk with the dog we met a lovely deer who was just having a quiet walk around the site. Can highly recommend this lodge if you need to recharge your batteries and get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

We had problems with the water jets on the hot tub.

I reported to the maintenance guy, but he didn't seem bothered. Very disappointing

Great lodge and in a perfect location for all local towns.

Perfect condition lodge with additional hot tub which was perfectly clean along with the rest of the lodge. I’ve already recommended this to our friends and family who will be booking shortly. I love that it’s pet friendly too and is enclosed for the dogs to wander around the lodge with the assurance that they are safe. Lovely quiet lodge, fully kitted out. A home away from home.

I stayed at this property recently for a week with my parents and partner.

Upon arriving it seemed like a nice little lodge and quite homely. However, the property had not been cleaned very well at all. There were pringles under the coffee table. The bathroom was full of dust around the skirting boards as well as behind the basin. There was dust on both headboards of the bed as well as alot of dust, food packaging and the odd biscuit under the sofa. The lights in the living area also had not been dusted. The filter for the fridge was red so had not been changed as well as it being dirty. When having a shower in the ensuite, the water leaked through the shower screen meaning we had to put towels on the floor all around it to try and stop the floor from flooding. The left hand door on the main does was also faulty, meaning it did not lock at the bottom so was not fully secure. We were all looking forward to our stay here as the photos and description sounded just what we wanted, however, we were rather disappointed considering checking in was 4pm so there was plenty of time to sort the property before we arrived. For the money we spent for this property we do feel we are out of pocket as this had alot of potential, yet due to the points above, let it down immensely.

We were more than happy with the lodge, it was very comfortable and safe for the dog.

The lovely veranda gave us lots of extra space as we were very lucky with the weather too. Everything was more than we had hoped for, we would recommend this lodge and the site.

What a lovely lodge everything we needed for a weeks stay , so homely and comfortable and the hot tub was a plus our greyhound "Hope" also enjoyed her stay and we will definitely return but for two weeks because one wasn't enough .

In general we had a lovely stay.

Disappointing that the hot tub had a fault and we could only use it the first night. We were only informed about this fault when the guy came to clean it on the morning we were leaving as he said it needed a new part. Think we should have been informed of this considering we paid the price for a lodge with the use of a hot tub. Also we found the toilets didn't flush properly. Took ages to drain. In addition the microwave kept cutting out. Think it would have been beneficial to have a guide on how to use appliances etc (including the hot tub) We did have a lovely stay however and the lodge was in an excellent location. Just found these problems should have been communicated to ourselves.

We stayed at Xmas.

On entering cabin it looked lovely. Very welcoming with a tree up. Nice touch. HOWEVER it wasn't clean. We all thought the "cleaners" relied on us customers cleaning before we vacated for fear of being charged. I am assuming they must of applied a cats lick to the property as it was dirty. Built up dirt. Toilet seat underneath was yellow with wee stains. Mould on the curtains. Accumulated dirty, cobwebs and filth on cupboard tops and behind the beds, under chairs and sofa. The microwave shorted out first time we used it and the hoover.

Overall the property was really nice and homely.

The hot tub was a really great too. The whole property was really nice and clean and in a great location. We only had two issues with the property. One was the main bedroom. The mattress was unsuitable and really uncomfortable. You could actually feel the bed base through the mattress. Also the bedding, pillows and duvet should be much better quality for it been a rental. There was also loads of dust and cobwebs behind the headboard (only part on the cabin that wasn’t clean!). The en-suite was done out really lovely but the vent wasn’t working properly so was causing mould in the room. The other issue was the wifi only worked the first night but we now know wifi is to do with the site not the property. Would of been nice to know that while we was there so we could of gone and sorted it. Overall we had a really lovely stay. If the changes where made to the bedroom we would defiantly recommend and stay again. We think a welcome pack would of been a nice personal touch too. Just with some info about the cabin and how everything works. Also maybe some info on the local area and the site. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The electricity tripped out a number of times we managed to find the master trip switch to get back on but seems to be a problem if a few devices on.

We also lost hot water a few times, maintenance came out and said the bar in the boiler was too low this should have been checked before we arrived. The response from Lake District holidays was great in getting someone out quickly. The kitchen and lounge area are fine but the beds and bedding were poor. Beds really uncomfortable and bedding very tired and bobbly. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. Overall an expensive stay for an average lodge

Didn’t realise there was any wifi until we were about to leave the property!

Luckily was able to meet with the owner on the way out. Explained that there was a power cut through our stay and had to call the maintenance team who came out in 30-60 minutes. Seems when too many appliances are being used, the power trips. The rooms get very stuffy and hot in the night. About 1 hour walking distance from Bowness on Windermere which is a nice walk. Great location and the hot tub is 10/10. Had the best time thanks to this beautiful accommodation.

Kids loved it and so did me and my partner.

Lovely stay at Badgers Hollow, the Lodge was really clean and comfortable, some of the cushions for the outside furniture had some mould spots on them when we took them out to use , this was do to the holding box being broken, but honestly a great lodge to stay and would definitely recommend to all P.

Decking boards were wobbly. Hot tub was not fully functional, some jets we're dislodged. Had to remove rug from lounge as it was stained and smelly. Mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. Fantastic stay, everything and more then we expected, really topped our first ever stay to the Lake District.

The lodge was very clean, great facilities and the bed was extremely comfy. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again in the future.

Good location with good facilities

Lovely accommodation.

Comfy and cosy but also lovely decor. The bed in the 2nd bedroom is too big for the room due to the wooden ends sticking out making it difficult to walk around, also the wifi doesn’t stretch from Parkdean so I feel it shouldn’t be advertised as free wifi as this isn’t the case, but otherwise everything else was perfect. Thank you for allowing us to use.

Cottage was lovely very clean spacious enough for 4 adults and 1 dog however I do feel the second bedroom was far to small for the double bed in it was awkward to walk around especially for my 6 foot husband hot tub was amazing n very enjoyable site was very dog friendly n our dog was allowed in all the food areas n welcomed with treats and water which he loved

The lodge (Badger's Hollow), was spotless, but a couple of issues made it less than perfect.

The double bed in the 2nd bedroom was too large for the size of the room, making it difficult to manoeuvre round the bedroom without banging legs or knees on the wooden framework, which protruded around the mattress. Also the wet room drain plug needs clearing out, as it couldn't cope with the water flow, meaning the entire floor was indeed wet like a paddling pool. Apart from that, we had a great stay.

The lodge was great had everything we needed for a relaxing break.

Fantastic lodge

We very much enjoyed our stay at Badgers Hollow. Very clean, comfortable and homely. Chilling in the hot tub with a glass of wine after a hard days mountain biking was exactly what we needed. Badgers Hollow

Great location for families. The pool was nice and warm and the children's play area's are very good. The cabin is well equipped with a fantastic fridge that has an ice machine. The decked outside area is perfect for young children as all access points are locked gates. Our only negatives were that the hot tub was not working properly which I am assured has now been fixed and that there was dog hair on the carpet that ended up on your clothes if you sat on the floor. this was a lovely lodge, well presented and had everything you would need. the site was busy but very quiet we never used the onsite facilities as we were having a family get together but we did venture out on the sunday and had a great day out. there isn't anything we can fault with the lodge or the site and we hope to book another weekend soon. Stayed at Badgers Hollow with my Husband and good friends to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. We absolutely loved our stay. The lodge was perfect for us. We absolutely loved the hot tub and it made the stay even more special. The lodge had everything that we needed for a lovely chilled short stay. Brilliantly Relaxing Holiday!

Badger's Hollow is an absolutely wonderful Lodge! White Cross Bay is a lovely and tranquil camp; Perfect Location! The lodge is beautifully looked after and is pretty much the best you could ask for. Perfect stay!

Fantastic log cabin! In a perfect location! Loads of things to do as well as just relaxing in the beautiful log cabin! Badgers Hollow was a great lodge. pool was great and open till late. 10.00 am was abit of an early check out. especially when have to clean the lodge before leave. Play grounds great. The owners of this lodge have thought of everything to make ur stay more comfortable , it was the little touches like the sewing kit , salt & pepper and the silly things you wouldn't think of ur self that shows they have thought of everything to make your stay more comfortable , will defiantly recommend this place.

Excellent holiday

We really enjoyed our stay the lodge was comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. The outdoor area and hot tub were lovely for sitting and relaxing in the evening. Site was located well for visiting local places and on site swimming pool was great.

We have just stayed at Badgers Hollow a lodge in White Cross Bay Windermere it was everything we could of hoped for, very tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean and every comfort provided for. Relaxing and beautiful

We had the most amazing weekend. The only thing I would change would be extending it. Badgers hollow fitted 4 adults comfortably and was able to meet all our needs. Great place to chill

Upon our arrival last Friday we both said to each other Wow what a great place. The welcome in the reception was spot on, our log cabin when we saw it was OMG this looks awesome and it didn't disappoint at all. The plus was the Hot tub, superb and did we cane it. We will defo come again to White Cross Bay and maybe in the same Badgers Hollow because as you say its a great place to relax and take onboard what is there to be seen. It must be a brill place more so in the summertime but that does not take away our stay at all with it being October. Have told loads of folk at work and when they saw our pics on facebook that showed it all the more so. Thanks a great time and see you all again. The lodge was really nice and well furnished for our stay. Fantastic lodge in great location

We had a fantastic time thank you, ideal lodge for a family. The facilities in the lodge were excellent and well maintained. Wifi was a little unpredicable but we survived. It was excellent being able to use the swimming pool and park facilities free of charge and the hot tub was amazing. The only thing I would say that let down our stay was the beds, unfortunately they were both really uncomfortable as had lumpy springs and in much need of replacement so we didn't sleep great. Ideal location

An excellent location, ideally situated to visit some beautiful towns...Ambleside, Keswick -and Bowness. The lodge was good value for money and suits either couples or families alike. Badgers Hollow provided the ideal holiday. We were able to de stress in very comfortable accommodation which is in an ideal location. Relaxing in the hot tub after along walk was bliss and the icing on the cake was the instant ice from the large American fridge freezer. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Short break in the lakes

The lodge is very nice, clean and showed good attention to detail to include nice touches. It is a cosy lodge which is smaller and not as private and secluded as we would have liked. Badgers Hollow April 2015

This was our second stay at Badgers Hollow as the hot tub did not work properly the first time we were offered a reduced stay. Second time round the hot tub was perfect and certainly made the stay more comfortable. The site is great for families, we had 2 young children with us and they loved the play park and pool. The cabin itself is very secure for children and the decking gives a lot of space for them to play safely. We look forward to returning in the future. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Badgers Hollow is set in a beautiful park within walking distance of Bowness and Ambleside and is like a home from home. Even though the weather was awful,our stay was lovely,everything we could of needed for our stay was supplied. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and both bedroom were of ample size for our stay. Would highly recommend.

Our first visit to the Lake District .

Our first visit to the Lake District was everything we could have wished for. The lodge was the perfect location and central to all of the places we had intended to visit. The lodge provided all of our needs and the hot tub a great success and very welcome at the end of our first day out.. Sadly the hot tub failed to work after that, but we were generously recompensed by the company who dealt with the situation competently and sympathetically. We will definitely be returning and have no hesitation in recommending Badgers Hollow to all of our friends. As it was the middle of May the weather was cold but luckily it was dry and in no way prevented us from visiting the surrounding lakes. Relaxing

stayed 3 nights, the lodge was very clean upon arrival, it's positioned in a cul de sac so not much traffic or people passing, 2 min walk to shop/resturant and not much further to the lake which had some stunning views, the hot tub was broke on arrival but we was told about this before we arrived, once it was fixed it blessing after been out walking all day, and felt nice and private, we would definitely stay here again! Review of Badgers Hollow

Badgers Hollow was a perfect lodge to stay in, it was well equipped with everything you would need in a home from home. Very modern. There was also books, dvds and games in the lodge which was a nice touch. Hot tub was fabulous after a day out it was brill to chill in. Fantastic lodge, very clean and well kept

Stayed for 3 nights in June and upon arrival the lodge was very clean and well kept. The beds were comfy, the furniture was good quality and the kitchen was small but had everything you needed. All in all a lovely stay

This was our second visit to white cross bay and we again throughly enjoyed it, the most relaxing place! The lodge itself was very comfortable and cosy. The hot tub was great. Definitely a great place to get away from it all and relax!

not as dog freindly as expected

I take my dogs all over for holidays and always put them first. The dog exercise area was not easy to find or signposted and when you did finf THE ONLY AREA they where aloud OFF the lead it was a 2 minute dirt track through the trees. Dogs where not permitted in the bar/lounge area when most hotels, bars ,restaurants and shops in Bowness and Windermere gladly welcome them in. So many rules about what the dogs are NOT aloud to do it a wonder why they advertise as DOG FREINDLY!!! If you are not aloud to leave them in the lodges at any time alone how are you expected to use the on site facilities. Very disapointed . Thankfully we had a great time and took him in the car every day to places he could actually enjoy. will not be back for this reason alone, which is a shame because the lodge was lovely and an ideal location in the heart of the lakes. Lovely log cabin in an excellent location.

Would recommend this to anyone. A real 'home from home' log cabin, in a lovely park with excellent facilities. The hot tub was also a nice way to finish off each day. Lovely cosy Badgers Hollow

A lovely warm and cosy lodge and well cared for by the owners who obviously want their guests to have a good relaxing holiday , we had a lovely quiet and relaxing weekend and would thoroughly recommend a visit to Badgers Hollow at White Cross Bay and a dip in their hot tub if you need to unwind and relax as well. No need to leave the site if you don't want too as there are good on site facilities and a shop that sells newspapers but if you do want to see the sights in the Lake district this is an ideal central location for doing so. South Lakes Wild Animal Park at Dalton in Furness South Cumbria is a good day out for all the family.

A lovely little get away

We stayed at for a week badgers hollow with are dog and we were very impressed,(we have stayed in several other lodges before all of witch more expensive)and I can say by far this was the best it was very clean and tidy and was made to feel very homely just all the little touches that make u feel so relaxed well done to the owner!! Lake District Stay

My wife and I + our Vinny(the Pug) loved the lodge. It went beyond our expectations and we could not fault anything about it. It was peaceful and quiet and made the ideal break for us. The location was central to all the areas we had planned to visit and see. The only point I would make is that the site being claimed as dog friendly but you could not take your dog into the bar area on site, whereas the locations ie pubs, shops, museums, coffee bars we visited throughout the Lake District welcomed dogs. Overall a great lodge and location and we will definitely be back in the future. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Stayed here for 4 nights as a surprise for my partner's birthday.... Absolutely amazing! The lodge was spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect stay for our first holiday with our toddler

Perfect first holiday with our little boy who celebrated his 2nd birthday whilst we were there :) lodge owners even left us presents ... very thoughtful! Lodge was really lovely inside, comfortable with everything you needed, hot tub was great fun and convenient to be able to park outside. Great day trips really close by and we had lovely sunny afternoons to relax outside, in the forest and by the marina. Called the customer service number once, answered straight away (even on bank holiday) and resolved with visit in less than an hour. Weekend in the lake district

Can't say enough about the park site and the beautiful surrounding areas. While away we spent a day in Bowness which was a stunning little place. but remember that some streets are a little on the steep side . The park itself is really nice but we didn't enjoy the food on offer. Badgers hollow is a great little property and very well kept . home from home

This was our first time staying in a log cabin and it was GREAT it felt so homely we are already planning a return visit in the autumn The site was a really good location as a base for getting around the lakes. Mucho Enjoyo.

Lovely lodge that obviously has owners that care that you enjoy your holiday. Everything is catered for in the lodge i.e. iron, slippers, robes, and it is in a very good condition and well placed in the park. The hot tub is nice though it is not as private as the images on the website make out as the bamboo fence blew down previously. However, some well placed towels on the new fence serves just a well. If you are looking for the BBQ stand to place your disposable, it is a paving slab on the floor, which is not a problem - it just took a sec to figure out that that was what it was for. The park itself is nice and clean, with two small parks for children and a restaurant that serves Harvester type food, though they could do with some more staff, the wait for service/food is usually awful. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a medical emergency, but I would stay in the lodge again without hesitation. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the park itself is well placed for touring the lakes. What did you enjoy most about your stay? BBQ on the decking, and scenic drive through the lakes. everything you could wish for and more

The lodge was quiet and peaceful when we stayed. Although it was not in the main children's holidays. It was well equipped to a high standard and nothing felt "cheap". My motto is, why would you pay to stay somewhere less than your own home ?? We were about an hours walk into Bowness which was just enough to rustle the appetite for a coffee and cake. Although our weather was not outstanding we had one very sunny warm day so we took advantage of the hot tub which was super. On the other two days it was cloudy but we busied ourselves at Coniston and Windermere so the weather did not hinder us. As gym users my husband , son and his wife were all disappointed with the gym, unfortunately we did not have time to visit Choices to compare. We would come again, the leisure staff were lovely and friendly but I would not pay to use the site's leisure facilities. We went with our son and his wife who have been married just 10 months and the lodge did not feel cramped and the en-suite gave us privacy so we did not feel we were under each others feet. We went to Ulverston to visit the Buddhist Temple. It was amazing and free. The lakes can be expensive.

Had a lovely stay at badgers hollow , the lodge was very clean ,modern and in a great location with the added bonus of a hot tub which made my stay more fabulous ,it was used numerous times. Loved the decking area ,sitting out in the morning and late evening.The owners thought of every thing including tea ,coffee etc for when we arrived there,all in a whole a wonderful 4 days and would highly recommend it. A little gem. Very comfortable and quiet in a good location.

We really enjoyed our stay at white cross bay in badgers Hollow. It was very comfortable, quiet and in a good location. The lodge was really modern with lots of great items from books/games. Cinema surround sound and a Nintendo wii, so great for couples or families. It is a great size also the decking area is quite big too. The hot tub was amazing and really easy to use/operate. The only minor issue we had and it was very minor. Is that the hot tub wasn't completely private. It was a different hot tub and fencing that was in the picture. When you got in it to relax it was dead opposite another lodge front door. But with some good positioned extra sheets we took that we placed over the trellis fencing surround the hot tub sorted the problem. Over all it was excellent. Amazing

I booked this for my partners 50th birthday as a surprise for him and we had a fabulous long weekend at Badgers. The cabin was well equipped everything you needed was there. First family holiday

My parents bought us this stay for are joint 30th birthday present. They couldn't of picked a better place. Everything about badgers hollow was perfect, from the comfy corner sofa to the relaxing hot tub. On site facilities are great. Perfect for kids as well. So much to do and really good location. Windermere town is 10 minute drive. Or 5 min walk out side the complex there is the lakes vistor centre or opposite direction there is a few shops and restaurants. We will definitely be returning. A perfect week in october

Our second time booking with lake district lodges and our first time staying at badgers hollow, the lodge was lovely and clean and comfortable and the little touches like complimentary slippers and dressing gowns and toiletries made us feel very welcome, the hot tub was great after a day's walking and although a little overlooked by next door it didn't put us off using it twice every day, there is nothing negative I can say about the lodge and will be booking it again for next year, also I would like to thank Simon at Lake district lodges for texting us on a Sunday to let us know our keys had been found!! Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. Cant say a single thing i was unhappy with. The owners of the lodge have made it extremely comfortable with some nice touches including games books robes etc. Although we had great weather so never needed to stay indoors and the hot tub just put the cherry on the cake. A surprise weekend away

I booked a stay at Badger's Hollow as a surprise for my girlfriend's birthday, and suffice to say we were not disappointed! The lodge is neatly set in a secluded part of the camp and is not overlooked at all. On entering the lodge it was nice and bright, and very clean. The bedrooms were both a good size and the master had an en-suite wetroom with overhead shower that was lovely. Every room was decorated nicely. In the kitchen there was a selection of teas, coffees and sweet treats, which was a really nice touch to the lodge. The owners also provide robes and slippers which were also very nice (albeit the slippers too small for someone with size 10 feet!). We only really used the lodge overnight for the 3 days that we were there, but it was always nice to come back to a warm and inviting lodge at the end of a day's walking, and the hot tub was perfect for unwinding. The views of the sky when relaxing in the hot tub at night were wonderful, as there is next to no light pollution around the lodge. This really made the holiday for us. All in all, a very nice little lodge that is private, cosy, and perfect for a weekend away... or even longer! We will certainly be coming back given the chance. A perfect weekend

My husband and our best friends absolutely loved our weekend at badgers hollows! It really was exactly what we needed. The surroundings & views were stunning but it was the actual lodge that made our weekend. The lodge was cosy, beautiful and practical inside... the two spacious double bedrooms were lovely and the bonus was that each couple had their own bathrooms! The lodge was so comfortable infact we barely left it just for our one hike up orresr head (defo worth going up there- stunning stunning views!). Absolutely loved our Christmas stay in Badgers hollow; the lodge in particular was beautiful and the hot tub fantastic too! A lovely relaxing break

Absolutely loved our time at Badgers hollow, only regret it that we did not book for a week!!! Some lovely walks for our 2 boxer dogs (would had an absolute ball) and also plenty to do for the kids too as we have a 3 year old daughter. We used the free pass to Choices health club and took her swimming and I would also recommend brockholes just up the road (we walked it as it was only about a mile away) The outdoor play area up there was amazing, but the rest of it was shut as it was late on a sunday (will definitely be back to experience that properly) The lodge itself was so homely and comfortable and especially loved the hot tub after a busy day walking. Fantastic stay

Would highly recommend this lodge, myself my husband, daughter and dog all stayed for my husbands birthday and outlr 1st year wedding anniversary weekend. We couldnt belive how lovely the lodge was, all the little touches like the guest book for example, the hot tub was amazing and we lived the ensuite bathroom you can tell the lodge has been finished with very high standards. The only downfall we had personally which wasnt the lodge owners fault but the park itself doesnt allow you to leave your dog unattended in the lodges so we wernt able to go out for tea or breakfast at the onsight restaurant but they do have takeaway on anything they sell so we did still manage to have a meal we didnt have to cook just at the lodge instead. They had all kitchen essentials so we managed to cook food as if we was in our own kitchen. Highly recommended. Thank youu will hopefully be staying again. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Long awaited return to the Lake District

After a number of years had passed since our last visit to the Lakes my wife recently returned to stay at Badgers Hollow. The property is in good order and well presented with most things that we needed provided. The only item that the property needs that it doesn't have is a tumble dryer. Whilst the weather was excellent during our stay, the Lake District is well known for heavy rainfall a tumble is a must. The property also needs a much stronger wifi signal, the signal at the moment is very weak. Apart from those two minor criticisms we were very happy with the property and would recommend it to others. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Very quiet location. Weekend away

We booked badgers hollow for our 25th wedding Anniversary. Had a fantastic time, we arrived to beautiful weather. The hot tub was a lovely luxury that we used every day even in the rain!! Amazing week spent in the Lake District! Would recommend this holiday park to anyone ranging from couples to large family's. Absolutely fantastic!

We arrived at 3pm on 26th June for a 4 night break. Check in was easy and fast. The lodge upon first sight was fantastic. It was actually better than the photos when we booked it. The hot tub was ready to use that evening which was great. The fencing around the tub could be a little more private but that doesn't spoil it at all. There's everything you need in the lodge and the huge fridge with ice maker was an unexpected surprise and a definite bonus. No dishwasher but I would prefer the fridge to that anyway. Lovely decking with fab furniture but we only got to sit out there once due to Lake District weather. We highly recommend Badgers Hollow to anyone who is looking for a lodge holiday and we will definitely visit again! What did you enjoy most about your stay? Relaxing family break

We enjoyed a week at Badgers Hollow in June as a family of 4 (2 children aged 9 & 11). We were lucky with the weather, so were able to sit out on the decking, using the patio furniture provided. The hot tub was fabulous and we used it every day. The wet room off the main bedroom was great, but we could have done with a mop to dry it afterwards and prevent wet feet onto the carpet. There was also a full bath in the other bathroom. We also loved the american fridge with ice dispenser and generally found the kitchen fully equipped and happily cooked in it. The beds and sofas were comfortable and I even found a good book to read off the bookshelf in the lodge. There was plenty of wardrobe space and hangers, plus space to store outdoor coats and boots in the hallway. The washing machine was also another much appreciated addition to the lodge. it is in a quiet location on the park, so no problems sleeping at night. What did you enjoy most about your stay? A relaxing break

We had a wonderful week long break in this lodge. It was in a perfect location for getting out and about to see the Lake District. The lodge was clean and well presented and it had everything you need. The park itself was also lovely and the facilities on the park were good. Relaxing break

Had a week at Badgers Hollow with my wife and our three year old daughter. The lodge itself is finished to a decent standard and felt comfortable and cosy. My daughter loved it. The site itself is well situated with some ok facilities. However, the bar/restaurant is too small to accommodate all the holiday makers on the site even though the staff do their utmost. The multi games area also has a very restrictive net ceiling (presumably to keep the leaves off it in the autumn) so it is impossible to play even a friendly game of tennis. In short, nice lodge, nice staff but the site itself needs some investment. Given the extortionate cost they are charging for buying a lodge, they must surely have the money. Amazing

Had a fantastic 3 night at Badgers Hollow, the lodge itself was immaculate and it had everything you need for a weekend away. There is a lot to do in the surrounding areas, Windermere, Bowness, etc with a lot of different restaurants to choose from. The hot tub was a bonus and a treat after a long days walking. We even got round to using the Health Choice Club, swimming, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which was amazing. Overall had an amazing weekend, will definitely be booking back up for next year. Lovely luxurious lodge

Absolutely wonderful stay in this beautiful lodge! Although the weather was not too kind during the week, coming back to such a lovely lodge with the added benefit of the hot tub was superb! Very quiet location on the park which made for a lovely relaxing week. Everything we could possibly need was provided, including the ice dispenser in the huge American style fridge freezer! Lovely lodge

Along with my husband, daughter, her boyfriend and our dog we all had a wonderful four night stay at Badgers Hollow. It is in a quite location. It is clean, cosy and well equipped including a large American fridge with an ice dispenser which was well used. The hot tub was brilliant and used every day . OUR ROAD TRIP

It was a very nice peaceful few days away really did not want to come home. The lodge was nice, clean and well equipped a dishwasher would have been nice so we could relax more. The only thing that was needed was a mop for the wet room we had to roll towels up to stop the water running into the bedroom. I did like the lodge but I would look at one of the larger ones next time as they seem to have more access room around the hot tubs. We didn't have a grill either in the oven, if there is one we could not use as all the symbols have worn off around the controls. Access to a movie channel or Netflix would have been nice even if you had an additional charge. I took my mum away for a few days after we lost my Dad 3 months ago so we were not interest in going out which most people would probably do it was a chill out holiday, don't get me wrong we had a really great time can't wait till next time, hot tub aarrr!! Ideal location, and lovely break

We had a lovely winter break in this lodge, the location is ideal for Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness etc. It was ideal for us, our little boy enjoyed the park, swimming pool, and chasing after the ducks by the lake. Absolutely fantastic

Absolutely loved this lodge. The decor the vibe, just everything was great. Had no trouble getting there and it was only a 10 minute drive from bowness. The site was on the lake too so it was lovely for a late stroll. The hot tub was great and private, with fantastic ambiance. They decorated for Christmas too which made it even better. The tv and sound system was lovely and the beds were so comfy. I loved the addition of an en suite and would definitely stay here again. Could not fault in any way. Perfect location for visiting the Lakes

From the moment we arrived on the park we were delighted, it was what were looking for, a few days of quiet on our way home from Wales. The staff on site were lovely and helpful, the lodge was great everything we needed it felt like home. Our girls had a great time ESP the hot tube. It was good with the decking being able to leave doors open and know that our dog wouldn't be able to escape. The lodge was lovely and clean for our arrival and a perfect location for trips into Bow-ness and Ambleside we enjoyed exploring the Rydal caves too. Felt that log cabins were positioned quite close together

On the whole our visit to the Lake District was very enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone although I do feel Log Cabins are very expensive in all areas for a holiday. August visit 2018

Had a great stay at badger hollow this year. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Great location, walking distant to some villages. A few areas for improvement would be the the shower was weak (lacking pressure) and Wi-Fi wasn't great at lodge but you could go up to the main centre but these are very minor in comparison to the overall stay. Lovely weekend break

We spent the weekend at Badgers Hollow and loved every minute of it . It was so cosy, clean, warm and the hot tub was amazing. The lights that come on around the lodge at night time are so pretty - it was so lovely - we had a chilled and relaxed time - the lodge was so comfy and very close walking distance to the main clubhouse which was great. Great lodge and hoilday

It was a bit of a gamble booking this lodge as I've never done one before and not knowing what to expect. However, the previous reviews gave a very good account and they were right. The lodge was well appointed, clean and well equipped. Having an ensuite bathroom was bonus. Also having a hot tub was fantastic especially after doing a lot of fell walking. My only gripe was that there was an odd smell that from the hot tub area - vegetation and chlorine mix. This came into the lodge near the cupboard by the back door. It was quite noticeable when first entering the lodge. Also the dogs didn't think much of it either. I've made Lake District Lodge park aware of this in another feedback form and they will look into it. The lodge is in a nice location and we didn't hear much noise when staying there. A walk down to the Marina is well worth it and the view is stunning early in the morning especially as the fells had snow on them. There's also a woodland walk that it good for walking dogs in the morning and plenty of dog poo bins. Ambleside is only a few miles away and most areas like Hawkshead, Coniston are not too far away by car. The whole holiday exceeded my expectations and I would recommend staying at the lodge park and the lodge I had. What did you enjoy most about your stay? The views are well worth the climb up.

Great stay for my Dads 70th

Had a brilliant time staying in Badgers Hollow Lodge at White Cross Bay. Felt very comfy and homely. The park is in a great location and the lodge had everything we needed, all the mod cons plus the option of a bath or shower, the fridge was big and spacious to store our food and there was a wii and other games to play with too. Great break in lovely place.

A well looked after cabin with everything you would need, just one small thing is the decking is in need of some TLC and my 12 yr old son complained he couldn't connect his PS4 to either of the TV, (what a shame lol). We had a great stay even with the concerns of COVID, we will definitely book again. We arrived on 2nd of November 2020, made our way to the holiday park, the holiday park staff themselves were not particularly helpful, however when I phone the Lake District Lodge Holiday number both people who answered were extremely friendly and helpful.
