Allow the budding chef of the group to rustle up a tasty homecooked meal in the well-equipped kitchen, boasting all the necessary appliances required to ease your self-catering stay, before settling down at either the dining table or outside on the private decking to tuck in.

Beautiful lodge, all the facilities you need , great location right on the river , very comfortable, this was our 7th visit and every year the lodge has improvements made to it with new flooring in the living room this year, already booked for next year
Another great stay in a fantastic lodge, clean and well presented throughout in an amazingly peaceful location.
Kitchen is very well equipped but with a couple of minor points. The bowls are tiny and need deeper ones for cereal and porridge. The cutting knives are all extremely blunt and difficult to cut anything with, needs a knife sharpener. The pans are all scraped to hell and the none stick coating scraped off by people using forks, this can be dangerous to ingest. I’d invest in a new set of aluminium pans if I was the owner and ditch all the none stick. Also a lack of large cooking pots for cooking anything of volume. The TV position is also too high on the wall and you need to crick your neck to watch it, I’d lower it down. All minor quibbles though the lodge is great and super clean! It would be ideal and idyllic if there was a hot tub on the decking next to the river, plenty of space for one!
We have stayed at Jinnyspinner since 2024 so this is our third visit to this fantastic lodge.
This year we stayed for 2 wonderful weeks. We have already booked our holiday for next year and are again staying for 2 weeks. The lodge is stunning and the location is perfect! The ducks are there every morning which is a pure joy, we have seen deer crossing the beck and a variety of beautiful birds. The cheeky squirrels also make an appearance every day. The facilities inside the lodge are fantastic and it’s literally like a home from home. Thank you Jinnyspinner for another amazing holiday we can’t wait to come back next year ❤️
This is one of our favourite lodges, love the location within Limefitt, right by the river the only one looking over are the sheep.
The lodge is very clean and well maintained.
We Spent many happy times at the old Jinnyspinner so this was our first time in the new upgraded lodge.
It is a lot larger and beautifully furnished inside love the position of this right on the beck - the weather was kind to us considering it was early March revisited some local walks and generally had a lovely time. Highly recommendeed

Our 3rd time in jinnyspinner after the makeover a few years ago , up to the usual high standard everything catered for even with not the best of weather the lodge was warm and comfortable can’t fault anything really , looking for next year but trying for the summertime
Loved staying for the third time.
Comfortable well stocked. As I’ve said before an extra toilet roll in each bathroom missing, also as it is a family size lodge ,, more dishwasher tablets. Small things but make a difference. Hope to stay again.
Our stay was amazing, everything you have at home, is at the the lodge.
It was our 2nd time at The Jinnyspinner. We have also booked twicw again for next year. The lodge was very clean, and tidy, thanks to Kate, who prepares it for the next booking, excellent. We've stayed in many lodges which where to a good standard, but The Jinnyspinner is exceptional. Inside and out. The outside space is huge compared to other lodges. Pictures on the advert don't do it justice. Plus the aspect of the toughened glass on the beck side of the decking is lovely. Watching and hearing it flow by is so tranquil. Wild life in abundance, so many small birds, kingfisher, heron even an otter. We are so looking forward to are next 2 holidays, next year at The Jinnyspinner. Regards Gary.

I would highly recommend a week staying here and a visit to the Haybarn is a must
The location and views make this lodge special, even during a very wet week.
Problem with washing machine but sorted very quickly.
I paid for a break for my extended family and I; they arrived before I did and called me to say how amazing it was.
We ventured out during the day but most evenings came back to sit on the decking with a drink whilst listening to the stream, it's such a peaceful location / park. The only negative I had was that I could not get wifi at all, even using the paid service, so being awake for hours with only a few tv channels was not great (and nothing to do with the lodge, of course), but next time I will take a book! The furniture and beds are all extremely comfortable and the kitchen has every utensil you could think of. Overall, a very lovely, high standard of lodge and we loved every second of our stay!
We had another fantastic stay in Jinnyspinner and really didn’t want to leave.
The lodge is absolutely stunning and the view is breathtaking so much so that we’re already booked for next year for 2 weeks, we’re literally going to be counting down the weeks. The weather was perfect too which just topped it off brilliantly for us. The only concern we had was that the carpet is coming away between the living room area and the kitchen which meant the grippers were sharp in some areas and one of our dogs cut their paw. He was absolutely fine and we can’t wait to return to our happy place ♥️

Ye had a lovely stay 3rd time here lovely lodge home from home just one small gripe feel like carpets need cleaning bit grubby
2nd stay for us as we absolutely loved the lodge the first time we stayed.
Second visit we were a bit disappointed the sofa had a broken leg it had been propped up but as soon as you sat on it, it collapsed. Not great when 5 of us staying there. Cleanliness was definitely not up to standard this year & I agree with another reviewer a hosepipe on outside would be great especially if you have dogs. The decking area needed a good clean & so did the windows. Still love the lodge & the location just felt it was a bit tired this time.
The property was wonderful We loved it we liked the position the cabin was was private as we don't live near any body and the views of country and wild life was lovely Every thing we needed we will definatley come back next year

The lodge is beautiful.
Really comfortable and homely. The outside area has lovely seating areas. We had a wonderful weekend stay here. My only criticism would be that the decking needs a good clean and it would be useful to have a hose outside to encourage pet owners to wash down the decking after pets. Also the gate did not close properly so this could do with being repaired. Other than that it was wonderful and would definitely return to stay.
The lodge was beautiful, well equipped, very spacious, large decking and a stunning view.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate on rebooking. The cleanliness was a decent standard but could have been improved, ie windows dirty, decking area dirty, found things down bedside cabinets, but the general clean was OK. Sofa quite uncomfortable but all in all a beautiful place to stay and great location.

Excellent facilities and the lodge was beautiful
Unfortunately the heated towel rail in en-suite bathroom didn’t work so it was very cold in there.
I was surprised by how well it was fitted out, the kitchen is really well stocked with everything you could need.
It is beautiful and extremely comfortable, I would happily recommend it to anyone and would go back there knowing it would be a magical experience. On our last day looking out over the fields we saw a deer grazing. The site is also well maintained and the staff are very friendly.
Parking is ample, several steps gains access to property, and a very large decking area, which the pictures dont give justice to it , decking floor and structure is excellent, which as a large glass section to view the stream that runs past, outside furniture is excellent.
Lodge inside is amazing very clean, modern and everything you would need , just like home. There is also a washer/dryer which is not mention in lodge description. I've stayed in many lodges over 15years and this is by far the best. On the 1st day we booked for September 2025, it's that good. Absolute credit to the owners
Lovely lodge, perfect location, we have stayed at Limefitt for a number of years and this lodge has got to be the best one we stayed at.
Dogs loved it, 2 Chow Chows, one 6 years old and the other 12 mths old, there was plenty of space for both of them. They loved the decking and the glass fence, saw 2 otters and 2 ducks swimming along of river, it was the baby dog that alerted us of the otters. Would definitely book again.
We had a lovely time again at Limefitt with our best friends from Shropshire , the accommodation at Lodge was first class , which is down by the stream where we saw many juvenile fish , a whopper of a trout and an otter + next door the bird feeder was busy with birds and squirrels ,if god spares us we’ll be back next year
Second time we’ve stayed in the Jinnyspinner this year absolutely amazing right on the beck, couldn’t be situated any better, best lodge we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in a few would recommend definitely 5 star.

The lodge has everything you need if I had to nit pick one thing if would be shortage of glasses. The lodge also has a washing machine which was an added bonus.i would definitely return to this lodge and also recommend it. 5

Jinnyspinner is a fantastic lodge in a stunning location, without a doubt the best lodge on Limefitt Park it’s our 6th year there and we have had a wonderful time so much so we’re already booked for next year, we only come in August as a rule but made an exception this year as we desperately wanted to stay there, we’re back in August at a different lodge but made sure we secured Jinnyspinner for August 2025 , I hope everyone who has the pleasure of staying there loves her as much as we do ❤️

Hi, just like to say thank you for a lovely weekend away stay with the family.
We have stayed in the old jinnyspinner what we enjoyed but wow the lodge has got to be the best on site now. Very modern with outstanding views of the river and hills. Will be coming back in the summer hopefully for another weekend
The upgrade on the lodge was better than the pictures on line alot of work gone into making it a lodge I would visit again ,looking at booking for summer next year instead of the usual November dates , already recommended to a friend who’s used the lodge

I rent lodges at Limefitt twice a year, This is the best yet. Remember the original Jinnyspinners. Comfortable, but usable.

We have stayed in many lodges at the Lakes.
Jinnyspinner was by far the nicest. Great position on a lovely quiet site. Fantastic view. Outside area is beautiful. Inside is spacious, clean and contemporary with comfy beds, great showers, well equipped kitchen. They was nothing we didn't have. We had the most relaxing stay at the beautiful Jinnyspinner Lodge.
It was immaculate and clean with high spec facilities, it felt like a wonderful, luxury home from home. We can't wait to go back.

Absolutely beautiful lodge!
The location was fantastic just a few minutes drive away from Windermere. The lodge is located right next to the river and isn't overlooked by any of the other lodges which is lovely. The whole stay was lovely. Lodge was really cosy and comfortable for the whole family (5 adults and a dog) highly recommend
We enjoyed a lovely week in Jinnyspinner Lodge.
It must have the best position on the park, overlooking the stream below and open fields in front. Lodge was very comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Comfy beds, great showers and a beautiful deck with outdoor furniture that we all napped on at one time or another during our stay! We found some easy and some challenging walks from the park, we took the walkers boat tickets from the pier at Ambleside and enjoyed a lovely walk down the west side of Windermere. The Kirkstone Pass down to Glenridding is a lovely drive and Keswick and Bowness are both nice towns to wander around. All in all a very pleasant week, we hope to be back one day.

Lovely site and position, with a huge outside decking area, although the lodge is tired, and in need of refurb.
Damp and mould in various places. Lodge not cleaned thoroughly for our arrival. These things didnt spoil our holiday but need to be noted. Issue with microwave which was replaced very quickly by lakedistrict lodge holidays.

The lodge was beautiful we couldn't ask for a better position on the site,it was so cosy even had a Christmas tree,and fantastic views highly recommended.

Over all the stay was good apart from the weather I think the cabin could do with refreshing and the cleaning improved especially right now.
Peaceful location only a short drive to all the lakes, Been to Limefitt many times but not with our grandchildren, Although a quiet location surprisingly they loved it.

The sad thing about it is the price increases for the 2022 holidays mean that we will be unlikely to use Lake District Holidays again .

A favourite family getaway
Beautiful location, quiet and homely, comfortable lodge. 10 min drive to Ambleside or Windermere/Bowness. 3 generations of my family, young to old love coming here and there is something for all. We stayed here over easter weekend 2014 and loved it. Very clean , staff were very good , location was spot on. Although the lake district was busy, its not hard to find some quiet walks. Windermere was to busy. Walked up catbells, amazing. Walked round rydal lake and walked up to waterfalls near by. Cant wait to return. Thank you. Short summer break with the kids
Best location on the park I'd say, totally relaxing and looking to visit again before the year is out. The lodge was really well equipped, beds super comfortable, and overall quite spacious. The hay barn was pretty good on site for food, only slight negatives were that the barbeque was "tired" so we decided not to use it, and there were dark presumably pet hairs in the carpet in the lounge, only Made visible when walked on...it had not been properly hoovered. Alcock Tarn walk which starts from the white swan in Grasmere.
A beautiful Lodge
This is a beautiful Lodge in a beautiful setting. The balcony overlooking the beck was exceptional, and there was lots of wildlife visitors. Just a couple of minor points, the pillows were rather hard and uncomfortable, and a BT Hub with a half decent broadband connection wouldn't go amiss. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Beautiful surroundings lodge a bit dated inside
We enjoyed our stay at jinny spinner its location perfect. Double bed needs changing and pillows so hard so didn't sleep well but overall lodge well equipped. What did you enjoy most about your stay? we had a short break at the lodge. the lodge was immaculate it had everything we needed. the staff in the office were very helpful.we also had meals in the onsite pub which were excellent . the lodge is a credit to the owners as is the site. Week end retreat
Had a wonderful weekend. All 6 of us enjoyed it. I do want to re book just haven't got around to it and will hopefully in the next 2 weeks. Great location next to the river. Central heating was great. Only down side for us is that we all smoke. Smoking on the viranda outside we got soaked as there was no cover in this cabin, and it rained a lot. A nice heated area would make us come back every week and would make a difference, or definitely some shelter. Thanks for making the cabin nice and clean and warm. You can't help but relax. Great stay at the Jinnyspinner lodge. Great accommodation and very comfortable. The location in the heart of the lakes make this a great place to stay. Fantastic weekend away !!!!!
My partner, myself and our dog stayed here for 2 nights. A short break away without our 7 year old son. Wish he had been with us though, as he would of loved it. The lodge had the best location in the park, situated next to the beck. The lodge was very clean and warm. It was very comfortable and felt some homely. Such a good time despite weather.
Our first impressions were great. Position of lodge on site is excellent: beside the beck and in a corner. Lovely daffodils and trees. The inside of the lodge appeared clean and modern. Howevere we discovered mouse droppings behind the microwave, then on the floor in several places. We appreciate that we are in the countyside but the lodge was supposed to be inspected before we arrived. When checking for more droppings, we found that underneath the bunk beds was filthy. Later we found that the 2 single beds looked like they had been slept in i.e. hairs and fluff. When we called the helpline, a person arrived very quickly and cleaned the lodge thoroughly. He was polite and friendly. Later that day, we discovered that if we had the dishwasher on, the electricity kept going off. We eventually found the outside box and used a knife to get into it as there was no screwdriver provided! We did not want to complain anymore so decided not to use the dishwasher any more. This was not a hardship but had been one of th factors when booking the lodge. Overall we had a fantastic stay and these were minor niggles that were sorted out quickly. Family get together
Limefitt Park is a lovely park where families can book separate lodges but still spend time together. We booked the Jennyspinner Lodge (one of the older lodges) and right next to the river. It was cosy which was just as well as it rained for the entire duration of our weekend stay. The beds were very comfortable and its location next to the river and far from the entrance and bar meant that it was very quiet. We used the car to get out and about except on the Sunday evening when we walked to the Mortal Man for a huge and delicious dinner. We used the shop and found it stocked most of what we needed. 2nd visit to Jinnyspinner Lodge
This was our 2nd visit to Jinnyspinner, which is in a beautiful location. Sadly the lodge and some of the kitchen utensil were not as clean as they could have been, some of the windows had cobwebs! Maybe the cleaners have changed? Which is a pity as the lodge at our last visit was spotless. Other than that we had an enjoyable break. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Retreat
Lodge was ready, prepared. Had nice weather and had a nice time walking with the dog. It was quiet at night with no distractions. The lodge was warm and very clean. All on the complex were friendly, even other guests. It is dog friendly which is something that attracted me here. Plenty to do here, and I will probably book again some time soon if get the chance. Perfect spot to enjoy the Lakes.
This was our 3rd visit to Jinnyspinner as we love the area so much. The cabin is comfortable and homely and in an amazing spot in the park, beautifully quiet apart from the sound of the river, which we love! Wake up to a heron fishing in the river, spend the day walking or catching fish in your net down at the river pool (where my children played for hours), watch the bats at dusk and if you're lucky - as we were this time - watch a badger from the cabin windows! The staff on the park are extremely friendly and helpful and the cabin is well-appointed and practical with plenty of hot water to ease aching muscles. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Brilliant family holiday
We had a great family holiday, lovely spacious accommodation in a quiet tranquil setting.Lots to do in the area and our dog Pedro especially liked it! Great lodge in an excellent location on an excellent park
The lodge is very spacious and well laid out, with great features, such as a dish washer. It is in a quiet location on the park, so ideal for just relaxing. There were one or two niggles, such as the radiator in the ensuite bathroom not working, but Lake District Lodge Holidays were excellent and arranged for everything to be fixed as quickly as possible. This beautiful log cabin was in a prime spot on the site with excellent views. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Lovely Christmas stay at Jinnyspinner
Enjoyed our Christmas in your warm and cosy lodge in spite of the sometimes wild weather outside.We were very lucky not to be affected by the dreadful floods in other areas not that far away. We managed a walk to Ambleside and back on Christmas eve without getting wet! Lodge very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The Christmas lights and tree were an added bonus. We must have had the best position on Limefitt next to the beck. Overall a very enjoyable stay, hope to be back.

We had a lovely stay at the Jinnyspinner Lodge. Been to jinnyspinner about 6 times now. They made a,lot of improvements, lovely new suite, new bathroom, bedroom carpet, the door to the lake gives much better view. I don't know if they have changed mattress on main double bed I normally sleep very well but it was just too hard so I had to move to the single room. A fabulous weekend in an immaculate lodge in an excellent location
We had a fabulous weekend in Jinnyspinner Lodge. The site was immaculate as was the lodge in a quiet corner location overlooking the stream. There was everything we needed as the lodge was well equipped and spacious with a wonderful outside balcony with table and chairs that we were able to make full use of as we had unexpectedly good weather! Another visit to JinnySpinner, just as cosy,lodge might not be as modern as others we have stayed in, but it's in a superb position by the river, probably the best in the park. Lodge would still benefit from having a washing machine. Limefitt is a lovely park, but it would be greatly improved by replacing The Haybarn with a much better pub. Another successful Lakes trip
The lodge probably has the best location on the park and is well placed to access this side of the Lake District. Inside provided plenty of space for a family including 2 children and a big dog. Warm and cosy for autumn and a great deck for the summer, that will be private even at busy times in summer (unlike many of the lodges there). Gorgeous traditional lodge in a perfect location!
We had an amazing time at Jinnyspinner. We have now stayed in a few different lodges managed by lake district lodge holidays and haven't been disappointed yet. On arrival the lodge was lovely and clean. The wooden interior would make it perfect for a Christmas stay. The outdoor area is beautiful and in the Summer it would be perfect for sitting outside with a glass of fizz. It is right by the beck - the water was so clear you could see the massive fish swimming below and we even saw deer in the field opposite. Our dog, Barney, had a fantastic time and enjoyed a run around the dog field on the park. We would definitely recommend booking with Lake District Lodge Holidays and would 100% stay at Jinnyspinner again. Thank you for a super holiday. Jinneyspinners Lodge
The lodge was still being cleaned when we arrived right on 3 o'clock but we only had to wait 5 minutes. The previous occupants had reported that there was a problem with the top two steps on the access stair and as we were unpacking one of the site staff arrived and replaced the faulty steps within 20 minutes, we had not even noticed that there was a problem. The lodge was clean, warm and had everything we could have wanted to enjoy our stay. We have stayed before on Limefitt but this is the first time in this particular Lodge and would not hesitate to book it again. Dog friendly pub on site is excellent and the staff are fantastic with both us and our dog, we were really made to feel at home there. The only negative we have about the park is the dog park which is always wet and not very appealing to take your dog to. What did you enjoy most about your stay? My wife and I decided to stay at the Jinnyspinner lodge based off of other people's reviews and we were not disappointed. The lodge was warm, inviting and clean when we arrived. Situated right on the bank of a stream called The Trout Beck, it looked almost idyllic. Location was excellent with everywhere within a 5-10 minute drive. Enjoyable
Quite disappointed , on arrival we received a telephone call to say that the cleaner was running late and that the lodge would not be ready for another half hour. At the moment of receiving the call we had just arrived on site for our 6th visit. We brought along our 2 Cocker Spaniels, who realising where they were, got very excited and had to be taken out of the car and walked around for the half hour. The cleaner did apologise, and we realise that it wasn't her fault, maybe her total workload is too much for the time allocated?? When we accessed the lodge everywhere was clean, and my wife decided to make a brew. When she looked in the cupboard there was only one cup! On searching round we found the rest, with various other crockery/cutlery items still in the dishwasher!! Unfortunately one cup had been put in the wrong way round and was full of water, when the cup was moved all the water spilled on the floor which of course had to be cleaned up!! Overall the lodge was what we expected and up to its usual standard, and we totally enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately there was also an issue with the sewerage system to the whole site, and a large pumping machine and tractor had to use the parking area for the lodge. The operatives were there all day whilst we were out and still there on our return! They were very courteous and full of apologies and left site around 7.30pm. Maybe we were just a bit unlucky on this visit, but overall enjoyable as usual. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Jinnyspinner is like an old friend
Third time back to jinnyspinner and we love it . On arrival the lodge was immaculate and heating and lamps were on giving a lovley cosy vibe . Weather was a bit mixed but we still sat outside on the wonderful balcony admiring the views and listening to the bubbling brook beneath us . The dogs love the balcony and the glass panels , enabling them to sit and watch the river flow . We saw a water weasel one morning which was lovley. Jinny could do with a new hoover and a long handled brush and pan for the kitchen so guests can keep her nice and clean . The decking gets very skippy when wet so maybe a sign on the gate would be beneficial. The location of the lodge is fantastic. The camp is only a few mins drive to Windermere which is where the shops are. Jinnyspinner is like an old friend to us and we hope to return again soon . Xx What did you enjoy most about your stay? Amazing break
Myself my husband and our 2 dogs stayed here at Jinnyspinner lodge for a weekend, what can I say .. absolutely beautiful, we loved every minute of our stay the lodge is so lovely and the decking is fantastic with a view over the river. Beautiful location, but the logde felt tired inside.
The lodge felt tired in decor and found clumps of hair in the bedsheets and on the floor. It really felt as if it needed a good, deep clean. The location and outside space...fantastic. My son scalded his arm on the hot pipework in the ensuite shower too. A great,relaxing holiday.
We stayed in Limefitt Park last year and enjoyed it so much that we booked Jinnyspinner this year. The park is only a short ride to Windermere/Bowness and is very quiet, even in the evenings. The ferry across Windermere was not in service while we were here but you can still manage to cross the Lake by launch for a relaxing walk to Wray Castle (about 41/2 miles each way). In Bowness visit the Chocobar caf What did you enjoy most about your stay? The Lodge had everything needed and the walks showed the beautiful Lakes. The weather helped by being brilliant. Wow!! Welcomed to Jinnyspinner by the sounds of water...a beautiful balcony overlooking a river...perfect location!! Jinny spinner lodge itself was a beautiful and cosy hideaway. Relaxing Lakes Lodge Break
My family and I would be more than happy to visit this park and book the same lodge again in the future. The park is idealy sited enabling trips and activities to be undertaken with ease and conveniance. As for the lodge, its set overlooking the river and fields with a large balcony, allowing the oportunity to enjoy the views over both. The lodge is spacious inside and well equiped, we had no issues at all with its cleanliness or the maintenance standards of the lodge and its contents. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Weekend break with dogs
Had another lovely break at Limedfitt park even though a few issues with Jinny Spinner. We're stayed in this lodge a number of times over the last few years and always enjoyed our stays, but we have noticed that the last two times we have been disappointed with certain things i.e bed linen in double room past its best, one of the pillowcases badly ripped, also no pillows protectors, mattress protector does not fit the bed and also ripped. In the kitchen the tea towel provided was badly stained on arrival. The reason why we still book for this lodge as we have for September 2019 is largely down to the location otherwise we would probably try one of the other lodges in the park. a quiet retreat
this is an excellent lodge in a great location. it was surrounded by different wildlife all day long. the only fault was the double glazed kitchen window which was badly stained inside the glass. this blocked the view out which was annoying. Cleaning standards poor but lovely area
I love staying at Jinnyspinner as the location is beautiful but unfortunately with the last 4 years showing poor cleanliness, we will no longer return. Items such as tables and the fridge were dirty at our recent visit. The shower cubicle had dirty grime and one plug socket was hanging off the wall. Just to name a few areas of concern. We had a lovely long weekend in the Jinnyspinner Lodge and would absolutely love to return in the future. The location was perfect with walks available in the local area with a lovely pub. It was a lovely setting by the river Plenty of space for 6 people and a dog. The lodge was clean but there was a smell of dog when we arrived. If you don't have a dog you may be put off by this. We could have done with a couple more toilet rolls with there been 6 of staying. We think it would look great we some more lights outside for the evening as we were struggling to see with the one light. Apart from that it was lovely and cosy and would love to return in the future. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Just Love this Lodge
Jinnyspinner is a great lodge in a lovely position on Limefitt overlooking the beck. Walk up to the top of the park past the pub then keep climbing up well worth the effort when you get to the top.
Lovely little cabin by the river

A lovely, welcoming lodge
We arrived at the height of storm Dennis and this cosy lodge was a vey welcome sight! We absolutely loved our stay there in spite of the weather which meant we ended up spending much more time in the lodge than we What did you enjoy most about your stay? Watching the river! Great location on park, ageing property
Stayed at Jinney Spinner many times but unfortunately over the last few visits the deterioration has been noticeable. Bearing in mind that our recent visit was only a few weeks into the new season we found a number if issues e.g. broken handles on kitchen cupboards,bleach stains on hand towel,t-towel stained,carpet in lounge in need of deep cleaning,windows needed cleaning inside and out, air freshener in en-suite bathroom has been empty for at least two years (why not throw away),no hand wash in bathrooms or kitchen, no washing up liquid, no cleaning products, tv remote control in double bedroom not working. On our next visit to the park it will be in another lodge. What did you enjoy most about your stay? We had a great holiday staying in the Jinnyspinner Lodge. There was plenty of space for all 6 of us to relax inside the lodge and on the decking area. Bedrooms were nicely furnished with comfortable beds and bedding. The Jinnyspinner is situated in an excellent position next to the river in a quiet spot on the site. Lovely lodge in quiet area
The location of the lodge is perfect for someone wanting to get away to a quieter site, it's really situated on a little stream where you can watch some of the little fish in and the squirrels in the trees above. Inside the lodge had everything you would need and was very comfortable. The decking outside , the wood is getting a bit tired and can be slippy but the glass panels around the outside make it lovely to sit and watch out . What did you enjoy most about your stay? The ideal lodge by the river
First time at this location, the lodge park was beautiful, spotless and clean with amazing views along the dog walk. Cosy getaway
We had a great stay at this lodge and would definitely do this again. Unfortunately like most all of our holidays abroad got cancelled this year so this was really refreshing to have this lodge in such a beautiful place. A break in the Lakes
We purposely picked a lodge on the river and Jinny Spinner was perfect, absolutely tranquil and Willow loved facing off with the sheep in the opposite field every morning ! The lodge was well equipped, the dishwasher was a welcome bonus! The location of Limefitt Park is ideal with lots of locations to visit and plenty of various walks available and of course Willows favourite- the dog field:) What did you enjoy most about your stay? Jennyspinner lodge
Have stayed many times on Limefitt park. This lodge has a great location however the lodge was very basic and tired compared to others we have stayed in. The deck was unusable as very slippy and full of algae. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Park Rules and Operations – Limefitt
All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.
Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.
You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.
Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
