What guests are saying
We had the absolute best time during our stay!
The lodge itself was truly amazing, exceptionally clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Great two outside areas with peaceful, breathtaking views. For anyone who loves walking, the location is unbeatable, with a fantastic variety of scenic trails leading right from the site. Everything about our stay was completely perfect from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday and will definitely be returning!
Perfect lodge.
Well equipped and spacious. Walks right from door. Easy parking for 2 cars.
Third time at this lodge.
The inside is always spotless but the outside really needs some attention. During the winter when we’ve stayed it’s irrelevant but last two times I’ve had to scrub the outside tables and this time they were filthy, the decking needs sweeping and cleaning too. There’s also a bees nest over the main bedroom window in the roof cavity under the tiles meaning you couldn’t keep those windows open. They’re fairly inactive until birds land on the roof and they swarm out. The heating is also set to come on to 21 degrees automatically in the morning we’ve had to keep manually getting out of bed to turn it down.
