Pinehaven Lodge

We had another wonderful time at pinehaven.

We have already booked again for September. The maps in the information pack was a very nice touch and were very useful. We took a walk along the woodland walk just few 100m from the lodge and saw Red Deer and even a Polecat . We had a marvellous stay.

Very clean and well equipped holiday rental.

Lots of lovely touches for a family - board games etc. The only down side was it was a little dated in its decor, and there were piles of materials near the decking presumably from some work being done on a nearby site.

We had a loverly stay at the Lodge, the weather was fine with the odd sunny day, got some great photos of the bay at sunset on the first day but the weather did not let us down with a deluge of rain on one of the days, we stayed in the lodge for the afternoon and had many DVD's to choose from however the DVD player did not work.

we did a jigsaw instead. The lodge was very comfortable and slept really well, unfortunately the toilet was not cleaned and i did have to clear a small active spider nest in the bathroom. This did not spoil our holiday and was not a problem, this site is a great for a family holiday and would gladly stay hear again. the complimentary rabbits on the site was very welcome.

The lodge was a bit dated but ok.

DVD didn’t work and TV stopped working after few days. It could do with a thorough good clean.

A great property in a good area, the lodge has everything you need for your holiday.

Lovely place to stay, we had 3 children aged 5, 3 and 9months and the grandparents with us!

It was the ideal place to stay, we spent most of our time out and about with friends and exploring different parts of Cumbria. The baby travel cot in the main bedroom was a bonus! Would definitely recommend and will certainly book to stay here again x

Overall we had a nice time at Whitecross Bay.

We have stayed there a few times so knew what to expect. The lodge was in a good location but was a bit dated. We had a couple of cleanliness issues. A Cushion cover on the sofa was badly marked and one of the single bed sheets had a large yellow stain on it. (Urine). Not things that should be missed. We would use this lodge again as we know what to expect.

Very nicely finished place with all the things you'd expect.

The property was fine loved it staying there.

The cleaner needs to check the draws in the kitchen as we found some food left in there couple of bags of potatoes, and back of the sofas as we found a jumper but other that was very clean. Also the park it's self should have a warden as people making noise at 2am coming back from wherever and cars driving round the park at that time (if the owner mention that to the park about the noise)

Great place to stay with family and kids, great location, nice ,quiet with all necessary stuff you need.

The property was very beautiful clean and tidy.

We were very impressed with the size. There was lovely warm water all the time and heating worked perfectly. There was an initial problem with the tv arial losing signal but it sorted itself out. Overall a lovely property in a great location and would stay there again.

Even storm Debbi happening during our stay would not put us off returning next year. There is a regular bus service just outside the park with buses to most of the local towns. We stayed here in Nov 2023

Good location.

Difficult and awkward car parking - very cramped for 2 cars and stone bolders very unhelpful. Accommodation - cramped for 4 adults and 2 dogs! The bathroom is small and needs silicon sealing refreshed, The hob is gas. There is no dishwasher. Fine for a short stay.

Lovely cabin, amazing location.

Not the cleanest on arrival and could do with a dish washer. When 6 people are on holiday it’s a bit rubbish to have to wash dishes all weekend - just a suggestion. Also we were given the incorrect barrier code which did not seem to please the security manager, needs updated.

The lodge was perfect, very clean and tidy and in a perfect location to visit all the sights within the Lake District.

The beds were comfortable and lounge area was perfect for relaxing after a long day walking. The owners of the lodge have fitted it out with anything you may need for a self catering holiday, they have also gone to a lot of trouble to ensure your stay is stress and problem free with clear instructions left for using cooler and microwave. This was probably our best ever UK holiday and fell in love with the area. I am quite sure, we will be back. Thank you very much

We had a great weekend.

The lodge is spacious and clean. We didn't make buy the entertainment passes but they looked straight forward to buy at reception. We struggled with the code for the barrier and had to get a new one from reception. They said that they didn't recognise the code we had been given do maybe something to look at for the next guests. Easy walking distance to brochole and spent the day there with the kids. And we also enjoyed sometime down the marina paddle boarding on the lake. The park is lovely and quiet and the one site club in nice. We would come again thanks

Towels could be bigger?

Lovely cosy lodge in beautiful setting.

The only thing that would have helped was some sort of grab handle to help a short person with arthritic knees in and out of bath to shower. Other than that it’s a wonderful holiday place x

We have had a great stay at Pinehaven Lodge.

Its situation is excellent - close to reception and the amenities while just a short walk from the lake. It has everything you could want for a comfortable stay. I can’t think of anything that could be added to improve the lodge and we will definitely return.

Lovely stay at pinehaven lodge with plenty of space for 5 people and a dog.

Beds were super comfortable, very well equipped (we especially enjoyed the board games), lovely setting we enjoyed sitting on the terrace on the few warm days we had. White cross bay is a very pretty site, the evening entertainment was not to our taste but we enjoyed the pool, walks and central location to explore the Lake District Thank You

We had the most enjoyable stay at Pinehaven.

The staff at Sykes were extremely helpful in securing our very last minute booking and the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was cosy and well presented. Everything we needed had been provided and my children were thrilled at the vast dvd collection. I wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future. Thank you all very much.

the property was great no problems at all except everybody on the site struggled to get internet connection but that is the sites problem and not the owner of the property

We visited the same lodge last year.

This year it was evident that it needed a bit of maintenance and upgrading. The coffee table had been replaced by a more than cheap and flimsy plastic MDF one which stained within a minute of putting a glass of wine on it. The oven nob on the cooker did not work, and the dial shows the oven is on when it is off. - this is dangerous, if I had turned the nob to 0 'off' then it would have been pumping gas out. The carpet is now thread bare and fraying in different areas, and the kitchen worktop is taped up with cello tape. The lodge is comfortable and clean, and I appreciate being able to bring a dog, especially to the lake District with so many lovely walks, however I think I would book a different lodge in future as this one is now getting to the point it's not worth the money paid unless some cash is spent on it to improve these things.

It was a fairly comfortable stay and we enjoyed our few days there.

Although the grill did not work properly, everything else was satisfactory.

Facility was not quite accurate in it's description of the " large family style bathroom".

it was a little short of large. A receptacle was left on the deck full off cigarette ends and an empty packet. The oven was left with a greasy rack which still had a piece of congealed bacon on it. The grill did not work at all. The rest of our party couldn't make it due to self isolating which was just as well considering the bathroom dimensions. Apart from these few things the lodge was fine and quite comfortable.

A nice comfortable lodge, reasonably well equipped on a lovely site.

Really enjoyed our stay.

This was our second stay in this lodge which, while dated, is very suitable for a family to use as a base.

We were enjoying our stay until Monday at 8am when builders arrived at the lodge next door to demolish their outside balcony and construct another. They had numerous vehicles, 5 or 6 workers and lots of equipment rendering using the outside area of our lodge unusable and the inside very noisy! This was unexpected and quite a big deal for us so we asked Sykes for help. They suggested we send photos (not easy to do with patchy wifi) which we did, only to have them refer us to the terms and conditions suggesting that this was to be expected on a functioning holiday park! We spent the rest of the holiday avoiding time spent in the lodge which means we spent much longer days out followed by early evenings in the club. A bit of customer empathy and consideration wouldn't have gone amiss. Perhaps identifying who the work was being done for and finding out when the work would be completed/expected working hours? Perhaps intervening and asking the company not to set up a saw right under our lodges bedroom window? This lack of care means we are highly unlikely to book through LDLH or Sykes again.

Location was good.

Enjoyed the whistling kettle which took about 5 mins to boil which was fine. Wi-Fi was intermittent but was free. Facilities were ok - difficult with Covid guidelines in place. It was good to have a shower bath. Place was clean and no sign of wasps. Beds and settees were comfortable and it was nice to eat outside. Space for two cars was a little tight but was ok although we do have smaller cars. Weather was good. Also enjoyed the 10 lake mountain goat coach tour.

Lovely accommodation.

Facilities were good and the beds were comfortable. We took our own electric kettle with us as we had read about the slowness of the gas hob kettle. The oven and grill are a bit dated but they do work if you hold the buttons down. Television lacked many channels and was not HD, but we managed to watch the football fine. Can be a little noisy location backing onto the road to the park complex and the main road to the barrier. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and would have liked to have stayed longer. The only downside was the very poor Wi-fi. I know the description says its only suitable for page browsing/email but its not even fit for that. Most of the time we had no signal. The lodge could do with its own private hub as Grasmere 2 has. Owners need to look at this as in this day and age wi-fi is essential for booking activities and checking directions and weather.

The lake jetty itself was private, so we were unable to even walk down it.

The lodge had a prominent wasps nest in the roof, we were unable to sit outside the front as they accessed the nest there, and also unable to sit at the side as they excited the nest there. Some wasps had managed to get inside the lodge, which wasn’t good as we have a young child. I called the number provided and as it was the weekend they had to wait until Monday to call someone. Inside the loads wasn’t amazingly clean, we cleaned parts ourselves, but it wasn’t too bad.

Had a great stay at this place.

It is a little dated but it was better than we’d anticipated and would stay again without hesitation. There is a wasps nests at either side of the lodge and had to remove a couple that had come inside. Having read reviews about how slow the kettle was we found it boiled far quicker on the front right hob. The beds were very comfortable. The only issue we had on an evening was when people were leaving the pub at closing and were fairly noisy but that quickly past. Shower was good and the water pressure was perfect. But was a little too powerful in the kitchen sink which resulted us getting a little wet at times. The location is fantastic with a short walk down to the lake and short drives to bowness, rydal water and Grasemere. The visitor centre down the road was also really good particularly if you have kids and a dog.

Kettle takes a long time to boil should be a electric one and just be aware I think you may have a wasps nest just above the front door otherwise everything was great thank you

A lovely lodge clean and comfortable and the site is beautiful with a nice club that serves tasty food.

The dogs loved as plenty of Venice walks. Would definitely recommend only slight downfall was the sites poor WiFi but otherwise fantastic xx

have stayed in this accommedation before however bit disappointed the grill wasnt working so waste of time taking bacon and sausage would of liked to have been informed that all books games and dvds had been removed due to covid i could of took a few dvds to watch and pity the channels on tv were limited on the plus side enjoyed grasmere , bo,ness and trip to keswick .

Family Easter break at Pinehaven Lodge

My wife, two young children, and myself had a lovely stay at Pinehaven Lodge. The lodge itself is very well kept and has all the amenities we could wish for to enable us to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The added bonus of the balcony was an added bonus for our visit, as we were lucky enough to enjoy decent enough weather so our daughter could spend most of her time outdoors and we could enjoy dinner/drinks outside in the evenings. The location of the lodge is very close to the park reception, catering, leisure facilities and play parks, whilst the White Cross Bay Park is within walking distance (10-15 mins max) of Brockhole Visitor Centre where there are plenty of things to do with kids and you can also catch the ferry to other areas of the lake. Great family weekend in the Lakes

Fabulous long weekend at Pinehaven. The lodge and site were perfect. Clean and friendly. All the facilities we needed. Lovely site. Nice pool for the kids, park area, lush country side and a family friendly bar to relax. Pinehaven TV and boiler pilot light did not spoil the stay

This is a great location with easy access to lots of beautiful places in the Southern Lakes. Pinehaven is very comfortable and has everything you could need. its a homely and relaxing environment.. We had some struggles with the boiler pilot light going out, our heating engineer member of the party suggests it might be something simple, a small part that needs to be changed. The television also had frequent periods of pixelating and blinking on and off, small movements of the set seemed to resolve the problem for a while but it does need looking at for the future. it speaks volumes of Pinehaven, to say that these two issues did not spoil the stay. not much kids entertainment and a lot of dog hair

The log cabin was in a nice quiet location next to all amenities. it was not very clean and tidy throughout the cabin there was a lot of dog hair on the mat as you walk in the doorway, I checked the bed sheets and pillows which also had dog hair on them. As far as the entertainment on site we were told there was a lot and it was free of charge. the swimming pool was the kids weren't old enough for sauna or gym and the daytime entertainment was chargeable which we were not told about and was very expensive. archery What did you enjoy most about your stay? the zoo What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests? south lake zoo

Pinehaven stay

We enjoyed this comfortable clean lodge and thought it was good value for money, if a little dated. It was not a wooden lodge, so noise insulation was not great. However, since it is a quiet park anyway, this was not a problem. Pinehaven Lodge had everything we needed for a nice short break. If we returned, we would probably hire one of the wooden lodges, though closer to the lake.

Nice lodge, lovely location, good value ...

Nice lodge in a lovely location and good value for money. Very comfortable and spacious living area. A little dated, but this is not a criticism as it had a home from home feel about it, and had everything you could need for your stay. The park was pretty quiet and weather was fabulous so the wrap around balcony was great, with two areas to sit out. Pinehaven

My partner and I were unsure what to expect upon arrival however we were more than happy with the lodge, the location and especially the Bay. The facilites on site were great as were all the staff. The spa area was very clean and an added bonus to our stay. We will definitely be returning to White Cross Bay next year. It was an all round excellent break. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Old fashioned but adequate.... Very pricey.

Can't fault White Cross Bay an it's staff,excellent as always, our accomadation was sufficient for its purpose.... Old fashioned for us but very comfortable,reminded me of my wife's grandparents style... Quite enjoyable. Well done. Didn't like the inflated prices too much.... Needs some TLC

We had some maintainance issues whilst we were at Pinehaven.... Mostly due to the lodge being rather tired. The boiler was our main issue as the pilot light kept blowing out. We stayed in the lodge last year too but the wear and tear during the last year is evident. It needs a total decor refresh. What did you enjoy most about your stay? May holiday

Really nice place, great location. The two things which I'm not very satisfied. The bedrooms can be heard from each other room. Also? The swimming pool closes too early. The rest is great!

Community living in the Lakes

Pinehaven is a spacious, well equipped and comfortable plastic lodge in a convenient location between Windermere and Ambleside. It is closely surrounded by very many similar cabins - thankfully not all occupied when we stayed. Common facilities on site are well maintained and comprehensive - although its lakeside location was made irrelevant by the lack of lake access which is dominated by commercial and private mooring jetties with no shore area suitable for children to play or for the launching of a small dinghy . The whole experience is similar to staying in a Travelodge hotel - ok, as long as you know what to expect. Suitable for families with young children who need constant entertainment. Not suitable for families with dogs or those wishing to experience the grandeur of the mountains and lakes. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Excellent accommodation

The lodge was lovely & clean & ready on our arrival. The reception staff were helpful & efficient. The site was great, we used the pool most days. A fabulous holiday. Thank you !! nice place

the cabin was very nice, very clean. everything worked as it should. and the location was very nice. the only slight negative for me was my cabin was very close to reception which meant when there was a disco or singer, we got a lot of loud music, but it only went on til 11 pm so didnt stop me sleeping. but if you like going for a drink and enjoying the music then it would be spot on for you. and it was very child & dog friendly, a great stay for families. another slight negative was the on site shop only stocked the basics, but i was quite happy to drive the 12 miles to asda and get all my shopping. on the whole we had a lovely week and the weather was great. i would give this stay 9 / 10. Little Haven in the Lakes.

We stayed Monday to Friday with our 2 year old Granddaughter Rosie.We all had a great time. The Lodge- Pinehaven was well equipped and very comfortable.The weather was brilliant, which does help. The site has a nice feel to it, always neat and tidy.The Bar/Restaurant was very nice with reasonable priced good food,The pool was very good,but the opening times were very restricting. Only 1 hour in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. Whitecross bay is in an excellent position and we all hope to return. What did you enjoy most about your stay? The easy going atmosphere. very good stay at pinewood

We had a great four day break at pine haven lodge it was excellentlying set out and in a great location for all the amenities but yet still very quite at night so no problem sleeping. We had a problem first morning the gas had run out but was quicker sorted so not a problem. We would certainly book this again. Barbara. pinehaven lodge

Cabin was a good size and in good condition. It was a little overlooked by other cabins nearby but in a good spot if you want to use the club house/ leisure facilities. The side door did not open and the main patio doors at the front were a bit problematic in that one morning we were not able to open them from the inside. On returning to the cabin it took a few attempts to open with the key- not sure if this was due to warm days and cold evenings causing the doors to expand etc? It seemed to have resolved itself the following day. The cabin overall was well appointed and comfortable so for the money we would book again. An outdated lodge

The lodge was very clean but very outdated. The furnishings were old fashioned and it was full of the owners personal items. easter break in the lake district

Unfortunately we had 4 wet days out of 5 and although the site was dog friendly we could neither have a meal or a coffee in the complex due to no dogs allowed.The next lodge to us was being dismantled and removed causing an almighty muddy mess. A home from home place to stay a brilliant addition to a great holiday

Family holiday in August 2016

Hi, we absolutely loved staying at Pinehaven lodge. I have 4 children who loved the location because it was safe enough to pop over to the park whenever they wanted, it was also nearer to the wifi!! Excellent accommodation

nice cosy lodge

stayed here in early november, although there were still children on half term hols it was a quiet area. I wouldnt want to stay here in high season as the lodges are pretty close together, but Pinehaven is in a cul de sac with the lodges being all at different angles so you dont feel hemmed in. Nice cosy lodge, located close to the site facilities which we didnt use, we came here as we have dogs , there is a nice short circular walk around the park which takes you down to the lake and back through the woods. A relaxing and lovely week

We had a very enjoyable time here. The lodge was very good indeed, very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Would recommend both lodge and Lake Disrict Lodge Holidays. A great family getaway in pinehaven

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin was right next to the amenities. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Great value for money. Will definately return. A very relaxing stay

Our stay was in June 17 and we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. We are used to packing the car with items we may possibly need on holiday and found that they were all there already. In addition there were a few surprises like a selection of films on dvd, books and leaflets. It is handy for Ambleside and a stroll through the site takes you to the lake side. A week of fine weather was the icing on the cake! What did you enjoy most about your stay? A quiet spot and so convenient for the lakes. Lovely Pinehaven!

We had a fabulous few days at Pinehaven. It's a very spacious and comfortable lodge with the bonus of outdoor space - and we were able to have our dog with us. We will definitely return! Randalstown Family

Very pleasant stay in this comfortable lodge, Whitecross bay has all the amenities you would expect and is well located as a base for exploring the Lakes and mountains. Really enjoyed our stay here, great breakfasts in the onsite restaurant, both Ambleside and Windermere are within walking distance and have excellent restaurants and bars. A warm and comfortable lodge

The lodge itself was warm and cosy, well equipped apart from no electric kettle (due to issues with fuses tripping) but a gas kettle was provided. It does state parking for 2 cars but there is no way you could park 2 cars in tbd space provided so we had to park car 2 elsewhere. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Our stay

We had a great stay however had some issues with the grill not turning on and the oven taking a long time to cook food. The gas fire was also tricky to put on occasionally. However the lodge was otherwise in excellent condition, very clean, well equipped and set up to provide maximum comfort with a great selection of DVDs and games/jigsaw puzzles to do. Our stay in Pinehaven Lodge

Stayed in Pinehaven Lodge end June 2018 with my husband and our 19 yr old son along with my 87 yr old mother. Clean, quite spacious lodge in good location for park facilities. Son was in smaller of the two twin rooms to allow his grandmother to have the largest , he did manage ok but feel two older children/teenagers may struggle in this room due to reduced space particularly between the small beds. Clean tidy, enclosed veranda area with tables which we did make use of in the lovely weather. One small negative, there was no remote for the television and the reception was not good at times, there was a note stating remote would arrive " imminently " but was not dated and no remote arrived during our stay. However this did not retract from a lovely comfortable stay and would recommend Pinehaven Lodge particularly for a family with smaller children. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Brilliant lodge which exceeded out expectations. Very clean, everything you needed in the kitchen nice towels and bedding. Loads of dvds and games if you wanted them. A dog friendly lodge in a great site

We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was comfortable and we'll equipped. Decor is a bit tired but I suspect that's why they allow dogs. Sure was idea for small children with kids entertainment in the bar and two play areas. Only issue was the missing remote (on order apparently for some time). Not sure why it would take weeks to buy one. The parking might fit two small cars, just, but if the next door lodge have a car on site you can't get more than one in and out. Going off the price we paid and the descriptions we read before arriving at Pinehaven it was nothing like what we was expecting, it was so much better, this is a brilliant place to stay, this lodge is perfect with a great location close to all facilities, would stay here again without hesitation. Pine haven lodge

Short break, good location

Had a lovely short break for my birthday. Lodge was clean and tidy, i'd say its probably better for 4 adults and 2 children as the smallest bedroom had 2 single beds very close together and a not alot of room to walk round and get ready. No dressing table in this room it wouldn't fit. The other 2 bedrooms were lovely 1 had a double bed, dressing table with mirror and wardrobes with plenty of space. The other was 2 singles but with plenty of space. Bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. Everything you'd need in the kitchen and the living space was nice but would just point out the cushions on the settee could do with a little wash as they really did smell of dogs. If people read the requests dogs shouldn't have been allowed on the furniture so this something that could easily be rectified. All in all we had a lovely time and would i go again.. yes. Only real downside was a wasps nest on our balcony in front of the front door, we did report it twice and was promised it would be removed both times although it was still there when we left and my husband has a phobia of wasps which he did point out. Close proximity to Windermere, Ambleside & Bowness with some lovely pubs along the way. Club house on site did let dogs in but they only have 5 tables which meant it was a struggle for some people when it rained. Maybe an outdoor area with a cover would be good for dog owners although this doesn't reflect on the property. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Excellent

Fab lodge was like home from home, very clean and had everything you would need. We had a family weekend away and the lodge and site was perfect for what you need it for. Games & dvds for rainy days or just for a night in, warm enough lodge with plenty heaters & fire. All cooking utensils you could think of for making meals. Relaxing Week.

Pinehaven Lodge is in a lovely quiet position on the site and is in the sun for most of the day. The lodge itself is a little dated, but subsequently priced accordingly. It is clean, well equipped and it suited our requirements for the 2 of us and our small dog. The only slight criticism was there wasn't an electric kettle, we thought it a little strange to use a stove kettle, which took a while to boil. The double bed was very comfortable, but we didn't have any need to use any of the other beds, so unable to comment. One thing to note is that the water sometimes became unbearably hot from the shower (to the point of scolding) and the thermostat didn't appear to make any difference. We would however recommend the lodge to anybody looking for a home from home environment it a lovely setting. What did you enjoy most about your stay? Great place to stay in the Lakes

The lodge was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very cosy. The lodge is on a beautiful site and close to the restaurant and leisure centre. The restaurant had a bar and entertainment and did take out food you could take back to the lodge if needed. The Leisure centre has a good size pool, steam, sauna and jacuzzi. The site was lovely, clean, quite and close to the lake. The only feedback I would give about the site is that it would be nice if the they made more actives around the water front area? Perfect apart from a few blips

A perfect stay apart from a few blips, a bad smell from the drains under the lodge, tap in the kitchen requires attention and also the gass fire the ignition did not work had to light it with a piece of paper otherwise it was a great stay. Family holiday

We had an amazing stay at Pinehaven Lodge, White Cross Bay. This was our 3rd visit. We had a mix of ages in our party from ages 6 to 76 and there was something for everyone. The location is fab. Christmas stay at Pinehaven

Our Christmas stay at Pinehaven was fantastic the lodge was spotless and there was sufficient heating throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with extras for a Christmas meal to be prepped. Definitely in need of refurbishments, very dated, carpets certainly need replacing, very dirty and stained. Short break after lockdown

After 4 months in lock down and having several earlier breaks cancelled I booked this break in order to spend valuable time with my granddaughters. The lodge was advertised as budget but certainly excelled my expectations. On arrival I was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness and size of the lodge. It was very well stocked with pots and pans and had the homely touch of lamps and pictures which is very rare when staying in rental accommodation. The location was excellent to, close to all amenities and the lake. I can honestly say our time here was memorable and I will definitely be booking the lodge again! A little gem

It was our first time staying in a lodge. Pinehaven lodge was a memorable place. We loved everything about it. Loved the whistling kettle too. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was available. It was a very cosy place and we loved having such close access to the lake along with unlimited access to the choices gym and pool. Internet access was poor at times. But not a major issue. Although lake district holidays are excellent and have always had great service from them we found pinehaven lodge a bit dated and certainly not big enough to accomodate 6 people . Needs update

Last minute booking but disappointed with condition of lodge as it is in need of updating and had quite an unpleasant musty smell. Gas oven very slow and lodge not very warm.
