    “Fantastic lodge, very homely and welcoming with great facilities (good coffee machine much appreciated and we loved being able to use Choices health club on a rainy day).”

The property

Puddleduck Lodge is an idyllic wooden lodge settled into a holiday park in Troutbeck Bridge.

With off-road parking and the amazing Lake Windermere only a short distance away, this property is ideal for a family or friends looking to explore the fantastic countryside of Cumbria.

Climb the steps and enter into a beautifully-furnished lodge, sporting a light and airy open-plan living space with a kitchen that houses all of the home-from-home amenities needed to cook up a storm, which can be enjoyed at the dining table over a glass of fizz.

Be delighted by the care that has been taken to create an air of opulence throughout the décor, and settle into the charming sitting area to enjoy a good book or a movie marathon beside the electric fire.

Throw open the double doors and head out onto the decking, a fantastic spot for alfresco dining as you plan the day ahead of you.

Each with a TV, three bedrooms encourage you to get cosy for the night, after freshening up in the shower room.

White Cross Bay Holiday Park is a delightful location resting on the edges of Lake Windermere, nestled into the Lake District National Park, and with access to the lake for guests use.

The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Park Rules and Operations – White Cross Bay

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
