Ruskin Lodge is a stylish, single-storey lodge nestled on White Cross Bay Holiday Park in Troutbeck Bridge, which lies in between Windermere and Ambleside towns.
Perfectly placed near local amenities, attractions and Lake Windermere, Ruskin Lodge enjoys an idyllic spot for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle, enveloped by the beautiful Lake District National Park.
Park up and make your way up to the enclosed decked area, a haven for alfresco mealtimes when the sun is shining. Step indoors and enjoy the open-plan living space, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, dedicated dining space for six, and plenty of plush seating, ready to sink into in front of the electric fire.
If the weather allows, throw open the patio doors and enjoy some refreshments from outside, before retreating indoors for a film night.
Three well-appointed bedrooms are on offer, including a double with en-suite, a further double, and a triple bunk room, all serviced by a sleek shower room.
Explore the surroundings and take a pleasant stroll through Troutbeck Bridge and revel in the serene beauty of the area, before stopping off to purchase the essentials or to dine out at The Sun Inn or The Gaddum at Brockhole.

Excellent Lodge could not fault anything Very comfortable and well positioned Would certainly enjoy a return visit.
The Lodge was beautiful and clean.
And all facilities were very well look after. Only 2 issues we had were the Broken Dining chair by the window. Which we were NOT made aware off. We booked our stay for 7 people, but due to a serious family emergency illness 3 of our group could not travel for My Birthday celebrations. Also just minor issue but would like to advise that the oven was not fully clean or the trays in oven so did not use. Club on site does not really cater for adults entertainment. Family entertainment for young children was ok but did not like the issue of the young children were allowed to runaround. I was very concious, of children falling especially with tables full of glass and how dangerous it could be if one was to fall. But I would definitely recommend Ruskin Lodge to family and friends. Really beautiful Lodge. Will hopefully be back later in the year. Thank you. Warmest regards. Irene Smith.

Park Rules and Operations – White Cross Bay
All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.
Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.
You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.
Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
