“We had a great stay at White Cross Bay while living in the Wodge.”

The location is perfect for access to the water and the facilities including the restaurant and bar area. The Wodge is a great size for a family and has all the mod cons that you need to enjoy your stay. There is a general comment across all cabins regarding Wifi and internet access. We simply went to the main buildings where the bar is and used the internet there. It was actually refreshing as a parent to not have children glued to their screens the whole time. We simply went to the main buildings where the bar is and used the internet there. It was actually refreshing as a parent to not have children glued to their screens the whole time. Beds were comfortable and overall there would not be much I think could be improved on. We had a great time and will be looking at dates for next summer soon.

Enter your new home through the front door and into the open-plan living area.

The kitchen is well-equipped with all the appliances and elegant worktops you would need for a self-catered stay. After a filling meal at the six-person dining table, retire to the plush couches and cuddle up by the electric fireplace to watch a family favourite on the Smart TV.

When the weather allows, you might enjoy dining alfresco on the patio furniture or raise a glass to a wonderful retreat before heading to the family bathroom to unwind with a decadent soak in the tub.

When bedtime comes, you can choose between a double bedroom with an en suite shower room and two tastefully decorated twin bedrooms.

When you're ready to go exploring, head to the nearby pristine beauty of Lake Windermere, where you can try kayaking and paddleboarding, as well as a variety of other watersports.

You can also stroll to Queen Adelaide's Hill or Brockhole on Windermere to explore 30 acres of historical gardens and grounds.
