Yew Tree Cabin

We had a great time.

Can't believe how quiet it is especially just of the A66. I have one criticism and if I had read the description of the place better I would have realised. I was disappointed that the enclosed garden wasn't enclosed and therefore it made taking my dog out difficult. However let me explain i am in a wheelchair which unfortunately broke and I was left unable to walk my dog. An enclosed garden would have made it easier to allow him out to go to the toilet.

Lovely comfortable cabin in great location for a restful and relaxing.

We loved the hot tub!

The cabin overall was great.

Having not been to the Lakes before, it was ideally situated to visit everywhere. A few little niggles that could be addressed though. As tea lovers, a kettle would be preferable to the hot water tap. The pillows were interesting. One was rock hard, the other super soft, difficult to get a good balance. I’m not sure the dressing gowns had been washed, as I found nasty marks inside the cuff on one. I also think that you should mention the hot tub takes forever to get hot.

We enjoyed our stay and loved everything about the property.

Our only complaint is the crockery wasn’t left clean by the previous occupants especially the coffee mugs which were sticky and sugary. The cabin itself was perfect for our stay and would stay again.

Came to stay for my partners 40th birthday.

Was such a beautiful, peaceful and remote getaway. Absolutely loved the personal welcome hamper! The hot tub was the highlight of the trip and of course the view was incredible. Complete opposite to London which is exactly what we wanted. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful place.

Great and central . Great for the dog. The best holiday we have had in this country. The hot tub takes a while to heat up so need a good few hours before you get into it but the next day its much easier . Comfy bed , everything you need and the little gift basket was a great touch . Thank you

Excellent setting with beautiful views.

The cabin is immaculate and very well equipped. Would highly recommend for the perfect, romantic break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yew Tree.

Everything was thought of down to the minute detail. The facilities were superb! We loved the personal touch of the hamper (even though we left the bottle of fizz unintentionally in the fridge, this wasn’t us being rude!) and the fudge was to die for! If we were to be really picky, maybe a cover over the hot tub or gazebo, sheltering you from the rain would be ideal, although not sure if that would work with the chimney! We did manage without and still had a relaxing time in the hot tub. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable, we will def be back for some R&R!

Absolutely loved our time at yew tree , the cabin was lovely as were the amenities around it , it's a amazing location with lots to do and see around it.

Kate and the team left a basket of treats for us , and even tho me and my partner don't drink wine , we loved the fudge and jam. I would love to go back and highly recommend yew tree cabin

The cabin is lovely, clean and modern and was exactly what we were looking for.

The customer service during our stay was also absolutely first class and I would highly recommend. The views from the cabin are breathtaking.

If you are thinking of booking this place please do you won't be disappointed.

It was definitely better than we expected every thing was just perfect. We had such a gorgeous relaxing few days away just what we needed. Thank you for our stay in the cabin, we will definitely be back x

Absolutely lovely cabin in a beautiful place.

It was so quiet and peaceful, I would 100% recommend and will definitely be booking again! My only advice would be if you want to use the hot tub the day you get there get it started ASAP as it took about 2 hours to heat initially.

Property was gorgeous and was in a remote quiet area.

Everything was fabulous and even received a little hamper which added that extra touch. Hot tub was brilliant and everything was clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was lovely.

The log cabin wqs really nice inside had everything but a kettle which we found rather funny so we had to use a pan. It was vert clean and tidy. The hot tub was nice too.

Lovely place with a great view.

Very modern and spacious. We enjoyed our stay but there was a few things which made us feel uncomfortable. The bedding didn’t seem clean. There was a stain on top of the duvet , an eyelash extension on top of one of the pillows and also a stain on the inside of the bedding. The memory foam pillows were too hard for us but this is personal preference. The plates and cutlery were also dirty and the hot tub water was dirty.

Wonderful little lodge tucked away in quiet countryside.

Really clean and equipped with all you need.The log fire hot tub takes a bit of warming but well worth it just to chill in. Definitely will be returning.
