Facilities and maintenance

Really lovely place to stay with good facilities on the site and spectacular views.

Both the staff and the lodge owner were very helpful and friendly. There were a few small maintenance issues such as a light bulb over the dining table and a radiator not working in the main bathroom. But overall a comfortable nice place to stay along with our little dog.

The lodge was clean and welcoming on arrival but the kitchen presented some issues.

There was a poor selection of cooking vessels. No pans only multiple old frying pans. The freezer was iced up, drawers wouldn’t open. The oven was badly in need of a good clean. The Information folder was missing, eventually found on top shelf of a cupboard. Owner contacted and she apologised. She arranged for new pans to sent but they didn’t arrive before we left.
