On arrival at the lodge, private off-road parking greets you, before making your way into the studio-style layout inside to find everything you need for self-catered break with a loved one.
The space is home to a sofa for unwinding on, a plush double bed for resting, and a quaint kitchenette for cooking with a view.
Outside, the hot tub invites you to soak your muscles after a day of exploring, while the furniture and barbecue make dining alfresco a breeze!
Finishing off the outdoor space is a sought-after egg chair, ideal if you like to curl up with a book, and a communal area with a fire pit, for when you feel like socialising.

The lodge was lovely, with gorgeous views across the countryside and of the adorable highland cows kept on the farm.
The lodge was cosy but had plenty of room for the two of us, with a well-equipped kitchen. The family running the site were so friendly, and offered recommendations of things to do and see in the area. I honestly don’t think I can fault it - it was a lovely escape and somewhere we’d love to return to!
Great stay, pod was nice a little too small for our liking but the hotub was lovely and the view was amazing
Laird Lodge 2 provides all you need for a relaxing few days away - A spacious patio, hot tub, swing chair and barbecue outdoors and very comfortable indoors.
Set with beautiful views across the countryside makes it a peaceful place to stay away from the biz of everyday life. Within easy access of Loch Mabel and Dumfries.
