At the centre of the lodge is a spacious open-plan living area made for time together.
Sink into the inviting sofas for a film on the Smart TV, with the gentle glow of the electric wall-effect fire adding comfort on cooler nights.
The dining table becomes the natural gathering point for long breakfasts, card games and mapping out tomorrow’s adventures.
Meanwhile, the well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for simple lunches or leisurely home‑cooked dinners.
Patio doors open onto the decked veranda, an ideal spot for a quiet morning brew, an alfresco meal or simply watching the light shift through the surrounding trees.
When night falls, three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms await.
The king‑size room enjoys its own en-suite shower room, while two twin rooms, one with smaller beds and one with full‑size singles, offer flexibility for children, friends or mixed groups.
A family bathroom serves the remaining rooms, and convenient parking sits close by.

We stayed from 10th till 17th October 2026.
We had lodge Ambleside 82 The accommodation was 1st class and the surroundings were nice and well looked after. We would definitely use this place again and recommend it to friends and family.
Really enjoyed our week at the lodge and would certainly stay again.
Just a couple of minor issues, ensuite shower wasnt very powerful but wasnt too mush of an issue as the one in the main bathroom was decent, double bed matress was very soft and one of the lounge blinds is broken. I wouldnt say it was dirty but there were a few splashes on blinds and the kitchen cupboard doors were a bit smeared. Other than those minor issues the lodge was well equiped and had everything we needed. The lounge was comfortable and the lodge is also in the best location we have stayed in at the park with lovely decking and views. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Great central location, lovely lodge with good facilities, fairly clean but clear inside of drawers are not cleaned as we found a jacket, pair of jeans and a pair of socks in one of the drawers.
A few things damaged, I.e doors to fridge/freezer, blinds. Hoover in the lodge although it’s pretty useless. Was disappointed to find no tea bags or sugar provided as every other lodge/accommodation we’ve visited in the lakes and wales always provide them however the little shop onsite did sell them which was useful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return just hopefully the cleanliness is of a better standard if we do.

High Lake View is accessed by 12 wooden steps to the decking. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.
There is insufficient space to fit a travel cot in any of the bedrooms and would have to be placed in the living room area. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.
White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.
There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £300 for this property.
Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this lodge.
The nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

Park Rules and Operations – White Cross Bay
All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.
Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.
You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.
Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
