Artisan Lodge

Lodge was absolutely lovely, couldn’t fault it, clean and had everything you needed.

Only thing I would’ve liked was TVs on the wall in the bedrooms, particularly the master bedroom. Master bedroom was huge and luxurious. Loved the huge super king bed and bedding was high end, slept way better than at home even though was hot. They even added fans in bedrooms due to heat. Lovely welcome pack on arrival, best one I’ve ever had. Lacked nothing in kitchen, even had an air fryer which was super handy as my small travel one broke on the first day and my son only eats fries all day so was great that there was one there! Location I wasn’t personally keen on myself but only cos I don’t like driving everywhere on holiday, I like to walk to local parks etc but I couldn’t I had to drive. Would definitely return, probably in winter as it would be super cosy and wouldn’t be going out as much so less driving. Perfect cosy quiet getaway break. Lovely view over the fields outside. Owner lovely too, made you feel welcome.

Lovely quiet rural location but near enough to facilities shopping, pubs etc if required.

Lots of space and well stocked with everything you need. Easy check in and check out.

We had a wonderful stay at Artisan Lodge, with the facilities exceeding our expectations throughout.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The lodge is also conveniently located just a short walk from Longridge town centre, where there is an excellent selection of pubs, bars, and restaurants, providing everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. We would certainly recommend Artisan Lodge and very much hope to return in the future.

A beautiful lodge in a lovely location, It was a perfect place for us to stay for our daughters wedding.

The open plan living space meant we could spend social time together, beds were very comfortable, lovely bathrooms, unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to spend much time outside but lovely views over the countryside. Honestly just a lovely lovely lodge.

A genuinely lovely place to stay!

Loads of room, beds very comfortable, all seating comfortable too. Large fridge, large dishwasher, all the things you need and more in the kitchen. A beautiful garden which catches the sun all afternoon and evening, we caught the weather just right and spent every evening in the garden. Saskia was a lovely host who met us on arrival and was really helpful throughout our stay. The surrounding area and towns are brilliant too, beautiful green countryside and full of lovely people. We’ll definitely be back!

Artisan Lodge is one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in.

From the communication with the owners, through to the wonderful welcome. We could not fault it. The Lodge was home from home, with everything thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was extremely clean, warm and spacious and the outside was kept immaculately. A great location to stay in order to visit family and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a special venue to stay in that area. Beautiful accomodation with everything you could need.

The Lodge was extremely clean & well equipped.

Absolutely perfect for a family gathering, in lovely, peaceful surroundings. Easy access to all local amenities. The owners were really lovely and helpful. Totally recommend staying here to anybody.

Exceptional property.

The photos look good but don't do it justice. Spotlessly clean. Comfy beds & pillows, soft fluffy towels. Well equipped kitchen lacking nothing. Often 6 berth properties have 6 of everything, for example here there were 12 mugs so not constantly washing up. Cafetiere and tea pots in two sizes. Little extras like sewing kit, tool kit and first aid kit appreciated.

Stunning lodge with a super nice tranquil feel, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay including a welcome pack with biscuits wine and dog treats a massive store of logs for the fire and it is super spacious with a huge dining table and breakfast area.

The beds were really comfortable bathrooms clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend a stay here, we were a group of 6 girls for my birthday weekend and it was just perfect. You can also walk into Longridge in 10 minutes and there are near by shops for everything you need. You won’t want to leave I promise. Everything was great.

Lovely warm welcome and the accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. It worked so well for our family. The perfect location for us to visit family locally and make the most of beautiful walk options in the area. Our small dog enjoyed his stay too. Loved the convenient proximity to the village but also the privacy and peace of the lodge setting. A lovely experience and would without hesitation highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and more.

The owner was very friendly and met us to explain things and left a large hamper which was a lovely touch. We just wanted a relaxing few days away before Christmas and that is exactly what we got, our own bubble and we didn’t want to leave. The high street was only a 15 minute ish walk with plenty of little shops, bars and eateries. We will definitely be back.

It was a very comfortable stay over Christmas at Artizan lodge….

. we were met at the lodge by the owners Richard and Sashcia who who were lovely and made us feel very….welcome they showed us round then left us to it knowing that they were only five mins away if we needed anything which we didn’t as everything was there tree was up and decorations were on the table and it had everything you needed for Christmas and more…. The location was perfect only a fifteen minute walk into the village and lots more walks around if you wanted….would definitely stay again….

This is a really lovely comfortable property and has everything you need for a break.

It was our first visit to the area and this was a perfect base to explore. Longridge has a really great wool shop if you’re a knitter. Would definitely recommend this property.

After nearly 40 years of staying in self catering cottages I can honestly say that this is one of the best.

An excellent quiet location, comfortable and clean accommodation and everything you might need is already provided.

a very relaxing place very quiet and excellent walks around the location. both Richard and Saskia are a joy to deal with great communication and local knowledge, was also allowed an early check in. Cannot praise the lodge enough, will definitely be back !!

Just returned home to Northumberland after a lovely stay in Artisan Lodge We enjoyed our stay very much, Comfortable,clean very warm and cosy.

We decided to go to Blackpool Zoo to see the very young 18 day old baby elephant,and we were lucky enough to see him inside the elephant enclosure with his mother and the other female elephants. We also saw a very tiny orang-utan,who was only a Day or two days old. Worth a visit and only 30 minutes away. Absolutely wonderful.The owners were very helpful and charming people, Highly recommend a stay in ARTISAN LODGE! You won't be disappointed.

Lovely lodge with everything we needed.

It was very comfortable and warm. The owners were lovely and even came out to show me how to work the oven! Lovely area for dog walking and very quiet for my mum to sit and read her books.

Artisan Lodge is a lovely property, beautifully presented and a real home from home.

Everything was so clean and comfortable with so many little details that meant we had a really pleasant stay. These included the chest of games and puzzles, the well filled bookshelf, the comfy beds and modern bathrooms to a well equipped kitchen and a very nice surprise of a welcome pack of drinks and snacks! We found lots to do nearby, some great places to eat and were quite happy chilling in the lodge when the weather wasn't so great.

Stayed here for a few nights with family and it was absolutely amazing.

Artisan Lodge was absolutely beautiful and in a glorious location.

So peaceful . There was everything you could possibly need in the lodge and all to an extremely high standard. We really didn’t want to leave and could quite happily live there! The communication with the owner was excellent and a handrail was even fitted to help my mum with the steps into the lodge. Couldn’t ask for more and can’t wait to stay there again. Many thanks

Lovely place and area to stay

Artisan Lodge was perfect for a family holiday.

Lovely property in a rural location but only a short drive to shops, restaurants etc and just a 30 minute drive to pleasure beach. I would definitely recommend it and will be going back with my family. Loved it!

It was a delightful property!

Very well equipped and very comfortable.Great location for visiting the Ribble Valley. I would just echo what a previous review said- it would benefit from a handrail/support on the steps to the front door as it is really not easy for elderly people!

Excellent property.

Owners are fantastic, promptly got us extra fans after dog took ill in the heat. They even purchased a paddling pool for the dog which we left for other dogs to enjoy. Only suggestion is perhaps add vets to emergency contacts. Perfect location for peaceful stay and ideal Homebase. Will hopefully return next year.

What a beautiful lodge. Very clean, so spacious and set in very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Saskia was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The welcome pack was amazing too and our only complaint is we had to leave! Thankyou for letting us stay in your fabulous lodge xx

Had a lovely stay at the Lodge.

The owner was friendly and very accommodating.The Lodge is in a beautiful area with easy access to the nearby towns of Ribchester and Longridge. My only feedback is to request some sort of blinds in the main bedroom, we had a baby with us and he woke up very early due to the sunlight at 5ish.

What an incredible lodge! The advert certainly didn’t do it full justice - it is absolutely stunning and to a high spec we didn’t expect but a great surprise! There was nothing the lodge didn’t have, making it a fab staycation option without the worry of having to pack everything but the kitchen sink! Richard and Saskia were incredibly accommodating and helpful, we will certainly be returning in the future.

It was a lovely holiday, the lodge was absolutely beautiful very clean and comfy.

Comfortable, spacious, great location. Blackout in end room would help in the sumner.

Brilliant place to stay the facilities are first class 3 very comfortable beds the main bedroom and en-suite are amazing the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need the underfloor heating makes the whole lodge very comfortable.

The only criticism is the front steps need a handrail as they are a bit of a challenge for an old bloke like me with dodgy knees .The rear decking area is south facing and well equipped with patio furniture and gets lovely and warm even in April so worth a visit for a great place to stay

We had a fantastic stay for my friends hen do weekend.

Property was had a fantastic living space for us to really relax and enjoy our weekend together. We got lucky with the weather and enjoyed some lovely evenings eating outside in the garden watching the sun set.

This is one of the best houses I have stayed in.

In a beautiful quiet location a lovely roomy house which is super comfortable. The kitchen has everything you will need - the bedrooms are very comfortable with lovely cotton bedding and thick luxurious towels. A deck with comfortable garden furniture and a garden the dog enjoyed. It’s so good I have already booked a return visit

This is a beautifully appointed, well equipped, comfortable house.

The owner could not have done more to accommodate our needs and was extremely responsive. The welcome package was delightful and contained all kinds of treats. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Artisan Lodge over Christmas.

The Lodge was modern but with so much character with lovely artwork and decor which just made the place so homely. We loved it, our teenage kids loved it and our dogs loved it. Close enough to longridge town for shops and country side walks on the doorstep. The touches and welcome from the hosts were a really nice too and just made the stay one to remember.

Definitely would recommend, beautiful, peaceful, relaxing holiday home with stunning views. The lodge was very clean and really well presented and had absolutely everything you could want or need. One of the best places we have stayed and we look forward to returning!
