We had a lovely, comfortable, quiet week in Squirrel Lodge, and enjoyed excellent cycling and walking from the front door.

The Mason's Arms and Bollywoood Cottage are also very good. The minor problems (wardrobe doors, missing key for one of the bi-fold doors, noisy extractor fan in the en suite) were not enough to mar a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

The only thing we would suggest was blinds in the bedrooms.

It was abit fishbowl. But we would likely book to stay again. It was perfect with the kids and the location was great.

When we arrived at 4:30pm the cottage had not been cleaned.

This was resolved but took a couple of hours. The lodge is on more of a building site than a holiday park. There is no WiFi so no smart TV’s - Netflix etc… The bifold patio doors magnet got stuck so we was unable to close them on our first night stay, with having young children this wasn’t great, and very unsafe. The lodge is tired and needs some TLC to justify the £220 per night we paid, this was during the week too. We expected much more.
