What guests are saying
Decking very poor but we were warned about that in advance so I won’t go on about it.
Inside the lodge was spot on very comfortable and clean big living room excellent bedrooms good size very comfortable beds, bathrooms of good size rest showers with good water pressure. Just one small complaint the toilet seat in the main bathroom is broken and needs to be fixed also the patio furniture is old and very worn that needs to be replaced otherwise we had a great stay and would stay again. We did have some contact with the owner who did assure us the decking is all being replaced later in the year so looking forward to our next stay
spacious, comfortable, wifi didn't work, kettle leaked, decking precarious.
great location enjoyed our stay.
The log cabin furnishings are a bit tired and the décor needs updating.
The outside table and chairs were worn and uncomfortable. We decided to buy our own camping chairs. The decking was dangerous in parts due to shaky railings and holes in the flooring, and our dog's leg fell through one of the holes. There was no gate to secure the surrounding decking. No WiFi due to a poor connection. Comfortable beds except the bunk beds, especially the top bunk, as it was too close to the ceiling. Good kitchen facilities. The owner was very helpful and planning an upgrade in the winter. Excellent location on site. We will definitely visit again.
