    “This was my second stay, it’s a quiet, calm stunning place to stay, the Alpacas as so cute and friendly.”

    The wildlife around the lodge is really nice to see in the day and at night. Hot tub is great in the day because you can watch the Alpacas whilst chilling. The horse is so friendly, she kept nudging me to feed her. The host Nicola is super friendly, had a few chats with her, couldn’t do enough for us, checking we were comfortable and if we needed anything. Will definitely be visiting again.

Barkston is a village and civil parish in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. Mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book, this village dates back almost 1000 years. Offering a pub and local convenience store. Situated within driving distance of the bustling market towns of Grantham and Newark-on-Trent. Having been the birthplace of Margaret Thatcher and Isaac Newton, Grantham has become a popular tourist destination in recent years, and boasts the Grantham Music Festival.
