Here, discover a kitchen where you can cook up a storm, presenting your meal at the dining space before settling into the tartan sitting area and enjoying a movie marathon, and with patio doors opening up on to the veranda, this is a delightful social hub that guests will lovely to spend time in.
Freshen up in the shower room before settling down for the night in one of the well-presented bedrooms, both with Smart TVs, beginning with a delightful king-size room with a sitting area, double doors onto the veranda and a freestanding bath and handy cloakroom, and there is also the choice of a triple room ideal for children, housing a bunk and single bed.
Make the most of the sunshine with alfresco dining on the veranda, enjoying a backdrop of the holiday park, dotted with mature trees.
Tattershall is a delightful town with a lot on offer for guests, beginning with a convenience store where you can stock up on all of your holiday essentials, and a selection of local pubs and eateries, including Black Horse, where you can enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage in the sunshine.
With a selection of lakes and walks beside the River Bain, the town offers fishing opportunities as well as watersports activities, and there is also the option to walk beside Horncastle Canal and visit Tattershall Castle.
More local activities include visiting Woodside Wildlife Park, Bolingbroke Castle, ARK Wildlife & Dinosaur Park and Tattershall Farm Park.
Guests also have the option to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife of the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where there are many walks, including those at Red Hill Nature Reserve and Hubbard’s Hills.

We rate Woodlands Retreat a 5 star accommodation as it is kept to the highest standard. Karen, the owner of Woodlands sorted out our entertainment passes after calculating the best price for our stay. Tesco delivered our shopping to Woodlands within an hour or two of our arriving which is a great service. We loved staying at Woodlands Retreat, everyone had a great holiday.
The lodge absolutely amazing but unfortunately for us the bed wasn't very comfortable so we struggled to sleep otherwise fabulous.
Brilliant accommodation ,nice touches milk, tea,coffee,biscuits on arrival ( didn’t have to worry about these after a long journey) Bed was probably the most comfortable my wife and i have had while staying away Even had a couple of little fans for this hot spell Only one thing we can suggest is that the shower head probably needs to be replaced ( but still ok) Overall 10 out of 10
