    “This was the first time we have stayed at Tattershall Lakes.”

    We couldn't believe how big the site is. Even Duck Lake is bigger than we imagined but, even so, we felt very private. Despite the weather, it was lovely to sit outside , watch the ducks and geese and see the Typhoons flying overhead. The lodge was lovely and warm and provided everything we needed for a week's stay. My only comment would be that some instructions for appliances would be useful. We only discovered the covered switch for the outside lights on the last evening. Plus, nearly all the ...

My only comment would be that some instructions for appliances would be useful. We only discovered the covered switch for the outside lights on the last evening. Plus, nearly all the markings on the oven have worn off so, if you intend to cook you'll need to bring an oven thermometer. All in all, we had a lovely week. We took my 96 year old mother in law to the Kinema In the Woods (which is only 10 mins away in Woodhall Spa) to see Westlife at the Royal Albert Hall and she loved it!

Jemima Lodge is a charming, single-storey lodge settled on the shore of a lake in a holiday park in Tattershall.

With a nearby castle, fishing lakes, and watersports facilities, this property is an ideal base for friends and families looking for a getaway to Lincolnshire.

Park up and be welcomed into a delightful, wooden lodge, offering a light and airy open-plan living space, providing a tasteful social hub for guests to enjoy.

Here, you can find a well fitted kitchen, a dining space for hearty meals.

There is a sitting area with a TV, where you can recline with a good book and enjoy the ambience of a woodburning stove.

From here, throw open the patio doors and head out into the garden, where you can dine alfresco whilst enjoying the lakeside views.

Here there is also a bubbling hot tub, ideal for a relaxing evening under the stars.

The lake also has a private fishing peg for guests to make the most of.

When sleep calls, retire to one of the three lovely bedrooms, each with storage for your belongings and serviced by a shower room.

Tattershall is a delightful location, and on the holiday site you can find a shop and a bar, ideal for stocking up on essentials, or a tipple in the sunshine.

From here, take a walk through the grounds of the National Trusts' Tattershall Castle, or visit the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight Visitors Centre to learn more about local history.

Guests can also head over to the city of Lincoln, or take a day trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB.

Conclude your day by visiting the fascinating Thorpe Camp Visitor Centre, filled with wartime memories and relics or explore the serene ruins of Kirkstead Abbey.

Tattershall is a pretty little village which rests in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire. It is served by a small selection of amenities including two pubs, one of which is Grade II listed, along with a choice of convenience stores and a traditional sweet shop. It also boasts a selection of historical landmarks including its own 15th century castle and the Grade I listed Holy Trinity Church. Tattershall sits equidistant from both Boston and the county town, Lincoln, which both benefit from a wide range of amenities, splendid architecture and things to do. For a more outdoor pastime, nearby you can easily reach both the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB for walking and cycling, and the popular seaside resort of Skegness for a quintessentially English day at the beach.
