What guests are saying
We were very satisfied with our lodge .
Both the cleanliness and the quality of all the furniture and appliances were first class . It is in a convenient location for Rutland Water, Oakham and Stamford . We will definitely recommend this property. Only one minor criticism , the outside furniture would be improved with seat pads .
We have been coming to elm lodge for the last couple of years, during the burghley horse trials.
We love the space and the lodges feel very private even though they're all quite close together . For us it is the perfect homebase for this event, and it's great to be able to pop in the hot tub after a long day of cross-country walking. The beds are very comfortable and clean. The only thing we think would be beneficial to perhaps add to the welcome pack, if there are some small basic cooking supplies included- with things like salt, pepper and cooking oil. The people at reception of the overall park are always super friendly and helpful, we love coming here and will hopefully be doing so for another few years to come!
The lodge was lovely but it could do with a spring clean, it was dusty and the cobwebs were huge and in every room, the curtains could do with a clean too.
The outside was also in need of a spruce up cobwebs everywhere and grass could do with being cut. The windows needed cleaning inside and outside however the rest of the lodge was clean and tidy
