We had a fantastic time at Holly Lodge!

The kids absolutely loved every minute and had so much fun. A special thank you to Mark, who was brilliant. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel welcome from the start. His friendly attitude and helpfulness really made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for a great family holiday!

My family & I (2 small children) had a wonderful stay in Holly lodge.

The lodge is beautiful, hot tub in a private garden area was great. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. We visited the swimming pool twice, it was cool & refreshing on a very hot weekend. We would recommend this to friends and family and will be returning ourselves hopefully sooner rather than later. Kind regards Mr & Mrs Smith

The tv in main bedroom not working aii doors need attention the main bathroom smells Ants in side and electricity went off for one day You had to be back on site before 11pm or you were locked out as the main gate closes and you can’t get in

This was our 5th stay in one of these lodges but we were so disappointed this time.

The hot tub malfunctioned the whole time, displaying an error message. Each time we reported it staff just dismissed it, pushed some buttons and said it was ok now. The heating didn't work properly and we were cold. We were given three fan heaters to use but as we didn't want to leave these on overnight or when we were out it never got warm enough to be comfortable and both bathrooms were cold. All the shower heads were badly scaled up. I notice a review back in February saying the same thing, so they don't appear to have done anything about that. We ended up leaving a day early as we'd had enough.

Wonderful lodge and setting a lovely relaxing break staff were amazing as always we will be back again

The lodge was extremely comfortable, well equipped and felt like a luxurious escape.

We didn’t want to leave. Only small feedback is it was difficult keeping the small kitchen window open! And hooks on the back of the doors in the bathrooms would be handy. But that’s only because I want to live there all the time! Will definitely be back.

Great location and facilities.

Building was excellent and had a terrific holiday.

Beautiful log, well equipped huge inside loved every part of it.

Some really minor issues like the shower wouldnt stay up when on and the bigger shower heads squirted everywhere as blocked. The main pool was closed due to heating issues but managed a cold dip on the second day. That was a bit disappointing. But overall i loved the location, the countryside the local pub. It was perfect for the occasion. Already recommended it to friends. Comfier settees would of been nice as no where to lay out and relax on a night as small hard 2 seteer sofas. But apart from that i can not fault the place

Very clean, tidy & well kept lodge with plenty of space.

Hot tub was nice , a lovely welcome pack, heating was great ( too hot on our arrival) but easier to cool down than opposite to warm up quick ( underfloor heating) might be worth adding warning sign next to towel radiators as these where exceptionally hot and young and vulnerable people may get hurt if not aware. Could be more details in listing as we ended up taken stuff that we didn't need as it was available but not listed. only slight negative was sofas in lounge uncomfortable after a while , whilst both bedrooms had smart TV's so you could have Netflix, youtube , etc etc but main TV in lounge was just digital so we were restricted when wanting to watch movie in the evening with children, they ended up in bedroom utilising smart TV options etc. Apart from that great place and would def recommend and go back again 4.5 out of 5

We had a lovely stay.

The Lodge was very clean with good bedding and towels - the dressing gowns were great for the hot tub and visit to the swimming pool. On site support was very helpful, and the cafe was also a bonus,

Lovely week away at Holly Lodge.

The lodge had everything we needed. It was warm, clean and comfortable. There was a good selection of books, games and movies available too which was a bonus. We enjoyed swimming and made use of the inside Rutland Kitchen. There are plenty of things nearby for young families and it was ideal. We will be back next year. Thank you for a fabulous week.

Last year we stayed at Pine Lodge in this complex and we liked it so much we returned this year but as that chalet was booked we took Holly Lodge instead.

Although to an equal standard the location was a problem as it backed onto a mobile home/caravan complex. When using the hot tub privacy was impacted and the noise, especially at night, was disturbing even within the chalet bedrooms. Additionally there were flashing external lights which had been added to the chalets and these were mostly left on day and night. The double bedroom, not withstanding the heavy curtains, was subject to flashing, strobe lighting throughout the night which made it impossible to sleep properly. We had to request a member of staff to turn off the ones in the next door chalet in order for us to get a good nights sleep. Other adjacent chalets had these lights left on 24/7 even when unoccupied. Rather disappointing follow our previous stay.

Lovely clean lodge with everything we needed.

Hot tub was glorious. Use of the pool was great. A very relaxing few days away. I would recommend it !

Good quality appliances and fittings and comfy beds. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely countryside to explore, I highly recommend a holiday at Holly lodge.

I never recommend anything to anyone so I don't get the blame, so sorry for continuing that habit.

Really nice comfortable lodges, a perfect home from home.

Everything was nice and clean, all the facilities you could want in a holiday home. Good wifi signal and so for my family who were glued to video streaming in the evening it was not an issue. The food at the on site bistro was nice and there is an on site shop for a few small essentials. And if you fancy a stroll into the village the Plough also serves great food and has the village shop attached to it. There is plenty to do in the area and everything we wanted to do was 30 mins to 60 mins drive away so transport is essential if you want to get around. Be wary of satnav trying to send you down Great Lane in the village, it's a blocked road. You'll want to take Thistleton Lane & Park Lane to get to the site by car.

Lovely Lodge and site.

Little extras on arrival a pleasant surprise. Our daughter lives in the next village and was able to visit with her husband and boys. The grandchildren loved the swimming pool and the hot tub and the kitchen was well equipped enough for us to enjoy a family meal. Reception staff polite and helpful; they rang us after departure to tell us they had found a stuffed toy left behind by our other grandson who had been staying with us and were happy to keep it safe until our daughter could call in and collect it. Would recommend and stay again.

Lodge very comfortable and well equipped, frig/freezer.

dishwasher, vaccum cleaner. Plenty of cutlery more than needed for 4 people. Did not try the swimming pool, . The village is less than a mile away, it has a general store/ postoffice and two pubs.

Really great stay!

Loved the lodge, really clean and had a practical layout with everything we needed. Lovely welcome hamper and loved being able to book the pool privately. Really tasty food from the cafe - just a shame it’s not open at lunchtime this time of year.

Loved the cottage, very stylish, comfortable, well made and had everything you could need.

As mentioned on the feedback sheet in the cottage we did have issues with the tv in the main bedroom but that didn’t bother us too much. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had a lovely relaxing stay

A fantastic place to stay.

Relax in the Hot Tub or if in one of the original one bedroom cabins where there is a Sauna to relax in. Also wonderful to be able to swim by yourselves when you book an hour in the swimming pool at no extra cost. We have stayed many times in both the One and Two bedroom lodges, cannot fault them, lovely, comfortable and very clean beds and pillows. The Lodges on our arrival have always been spotlessly clean & warm. Quality Saucepans (STELLAR), dishes etc in the kitchen. large Bathroom Sheets and towels to use. If you can pull yourself away from the Cabin the surrounding area has much to offer. Stamford & Oakham worth a visit with lots of individual shops to browse around. Beautiful walks around the village of Greetham.

We all really enjoyed our long weekend in Holly Lodge.

The lodge was furnished and finished to a high standard and extremely clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The hot tub was wonderful and was checked daily. The village is only 15-20 minutes walk away via a shortcut - handy following a refreshing pint of local brew after lovely local walks!! Would we stay here again?? Absolutely!!

Amazing, everything about the stay was lovely right down to the free gift set of breakfast eggs, tea and Prosecco.

Slight power outage issue on the Friday night we stayed but other than that, the perfect holiday.

Great cabin, really relaxing.

Just what we needed. Only fault onsite swimming pool Is very expensive. I would have liked to have used daily but not at 16 pound for half an hour. Other then that great stay.

Good holiday, we should have checked our bookings for pool as they varied from bookings I had made prior to arriving.

Staff really helpful, on site cafe is great and a real bonus.

Very happy with our lodge, clean, well equipped and quiet area - layout of site means good privacy for all lodges despite being close together and hot tub was amazing!

Only downsides were that theres no wifi & two additional lodges were being built next door during our stay which we were not made aware of until arrival - workmen didn’t cause any disruption for us, minimal noise and didn’t work too easy or late I the day so not too much of an issue for us. I’d definitely recommend staying here, on-site pool & cafe an added bonus.
