Relaxing,quiet and great accommodation.

It catered for all our needs. The hot tub was a brilliant addition. Very welcoming over initial contact on the phone and in reception. Information on local attractions was helpful. We had a halal diet. There were a few places about 20 min drive. Just eat did cover the area.

Be aware that shops are not local, so bring provisions or order a shop delivery!

We had a wonderful stay in Maple lodge, it had everything we needed, facilities were great, nice big garden with hot tub, beds were comfortable.

They provided plenty of towels and dressing gowns which was an added bonus! Nice short walk into the local village, staff on site were very friendly too! Only a couple of minor areas if feedback…. need to check things like the dishwasher and coffee machine as both had lights needing maintenance ie descaling / salt and rinse aid. Plus a guide on how to use the heating would be very useful.

Very spacious and comfortable lodge, well kept site, I liked the private garden with good sized hot tub and the swimming pool was great addition which can be booked for 30 minute sessions just for your lodge.

It was lovely, the host was so accommodating, really clean, and very quiet, we couldn’t hear people in the lounge if you were in the bedrooms which was surprising but great!

Was warm, the hot tub stayed at the right heat, there was a large enclosed garden area too. We didn’t book the swimming pool but were offered it. The only improvements I would suggest was the sofas are l uncomfortable as they’re sofa bed, one was very slanted. The pans were a bit old and definitely not non stick, so would suggest you bring your own, one final thing, I wish they left a cleaning spray, as we like to tidy up before we leave and keep tidy through our stay, they provided a hoover, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs which were great but deffo an anti bacterial spray would have been nice! Loved that we got left a couple of bits like eggs and Prosecco , but don’t forget to bring your own milk and tea bags. Lovely, would definitely go back

Absolutely lovely

On the whole we loved our stay at Maple Lodge, it was very spacious and the hot tub was excellent.

The only minor grumbles were that the hot tub lights didn't work and the bathroom plughole was full on matted hair from previous occupants.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Maple Lodge, it is beautiful l, comfortable and equipped with everything you need, we had a lovely welcome on arrival and the friendly staff were really helpful all weekend (especially Derek).

We felt like we were under curfew as we had noise complaints around 9.

45pm even though we were on holiday. The managers also felt it was acceptable to enter our garden without knocking or permission which was disconcerting. Couple of fixes required in the lodge. - a bedroom door didn’t close and the shower wasn’t fit for purpose. Otherwise well equipped and relatively clean.

The sofa sets are bed settees and therefore not very comfortable for sitting on in the evenings for a good old chat.

We love staying at the Lodges and have done on three seperate occasions, this was the first time as a large family group, we as a group felt that we had a great time however the title of Luxury Lodges was a little inflated. The cupboard with all off the cleaning accessories had all of the underfloor heating pipes and maniflods exposed and on plain veiw, A small piece off ply for a removable hatch may look more presentable!

Had another great weekend stay, we just love coming to these relaxing Lodges, a peaceful and tranquil place.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Only a couple of negative comments though unfortunately.... The lodge was dusty throughout, which could be seen. My friend has a dust allergy

The only issue I had was the bbq was not very good but we made do with it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Maple Lodge.

We loved the hot tub and made full use of the swimming pool too. The property was clean and comfortable apart from the settees which were slopping down which made them really uncomfortable. A couple of light bulbs had blown and need replacing. It would have been a good idea to have two sets of key fobs. We had two cars and had to wait for the gate to be opened if we arrived back at different times. Overall a very enjoyable break.

This was my four year in a row of staying here.

Just love this place and works out so well. 2 hr drive from London. Quiet and secure compound but lovely country walking areas. 15 mins from Rutland Water where all the activities are. It works well for me and mu family plus extended family when we just wanna have a big family get together (and end up taking the two large log cabins as we've done last two years)

There was a wasps nest in the airing cupboard that had not been picked up by maintenance, kitchen worktops were greasy, the lights in the hot tub didn’t work.

Both bathrooms had broken toilet seats. When management were told of these problems they came to get rid of the wasps with raid - which meant the whole lodge smelt awful. Nothing else was resolved and no apologies. A shame as this is our second stay here.

We had a fantastic stay at this lodge, it’s exactly as described perfect for a family stay.

The welcome package was such a lovely touch and being able to hire out the swimming pool was great! Very friendly staff we will be 100% coming back.

We loved our stay and the cabin is perfect, we only have two disadvantageous to our stay.

First one the Wi-Fi connection is very poor and constantly comes in and out. Secondly we think that there is a wasp nest either underneath or in the foundations. The family bathroom kept getting more each day. No windows or doors were open and every morning we would find 3 or 4 in there and in other rooms also.

Fabulous lodge.

It had everything we could possibly want for a great weekend away. Plenty of space outside. We had bath robes and plenty of fresh white towels, beds were very comfortable too.

We had an amazing stay - so much space, quiet, well equipped cabin!

We really enjoyed the on site Rutland Kitchen too - easy with the kids and food was great. Also a small sand area with swings and slide. The private pool hire was great and easy too.

Absolutely loved the lodge every thing you needed hot tub very relaxing would highly recommend.

Stayed in Maple Lodge for a week at the end of November.

This was our second stay here. Our Lodge was all ready for us with a warm welcome from the staff and a lovely welcome pack. The place was immaculate except the windows were filthy and the gutters leaked. Furniture was great except the two Chesterfield style bed settees, the were very uncomfortable for us. However I would still return here and recommend to anyone who wants a luxurious holiday. Oh eating at the onsite kitchen cafe is a must, beautiful giant Yorkshire puddings filled with the contents of a Sunday roast. The onsite pool was lovely too.

3rd time we have been here and still love it.

Roomy, clean, all the equipment you need for a home away from home. Two niggles but not massive, internet doesn't reach the two double rooms at the rear. Couldn't work out how to turn on the radiators in the bathrooms which were quite cold (mainly our fault for not calling to find out how). Rest of lodge, very toasty.

Lovely lodge at a very good price.

The size was very good and being gated was nice as felt secure. Good quality throughout and bedding very good. The shared bathroom had a very small wash basin in the room which we felt was too small. Needs a few updates as the guttering leaked which caused very slippery surfaces. We were warned of this however it was worse because of the guttering. Would definitely return as the price was very good. Thank you

6 adults stayed for 3 nights all creature comforts available. All equipment was very good quality. Unable to find any faults, very pleased

Second time i've stayed at this Lodge.

Pretty much perfect. Only one thing is that Maple Lodge is bordering the caravan park (unlike Oak Lodge). So during the summer stay, you can hear all stayers noise from the Caravans. I had both hired so noticed that Oak Lodge just edges Maple on this front.

Excellent facilities and equipment, and most helpful and friendly staff.

The property was in excellent condition.

The settee in the property were at times uncomfortable. The kitchen and small reception shop were to a very high standard, all food cooked fresh.

We had a lovely stay in Maple lodge, it was really clean, comfortable and well equipped for our stay.

The pool facilities are great and we loved having access to it on our own. Would definitely love to return!

The lodge is absolutely brilliant!

So so lovely to walk into a Christmas tree sparkling for our little ones. The facilities are amazing and felt like a home away from home. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

We had a lovely family weekend celebrating 2 birthdays in a beautiful relaxing lodge with fabulous facilities and the welcome hamper was well received by everyone.

Loved that the hot tub and seating was situated in your own private garden. It was a lovely that dressing gowns were provided for everyone too and great that you could use the swimming pool just for your lodge. Great base for exploring the surrounding area. Will definitely return in the future.

Great stay, with lovely hot tub and swimming pool which can be hired for use of your family group (1 session free).

A couple of things reported on feedback form but nothing major, it’s the end of the season.

Had a lovely stay.

Hot tub set at 40 degrees which was way too hot - we were told not to adjust temperature. Other than that it was perfect.

A well porportioned lodge.

Excellent bedroom sizes. Lovely hot tub facility. Issues? No blind on the kitchen window, making privacy impossible. Windows dirty on the inside. There are thermostats on several walls with no indication what they do. We worked it out but a note above them would have been helpful.

The lodge was more spacious than we expected, the rooms were well appointed, with good storage in all bedrooms.

The kitchen was well equiped. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. There was a good sized garden for the grandchildren to play in. Though on a site with other lodges and next to the campsite it was very quiet and not overlooked. There are many good attractions to visit in the area. We would recommend this lodge.

Lovely cabin with great hot tub.

Only one thing not so good ,is there is no window in the main bedroom. French doors onto patio but couldn't leave them open over night in hot weather ,so no ventilation .

A lovely holiday lodge on a lovely holiday park.

The lodge is clean, spacious and well equipped, including a washer/dryer, drying rack and washing basket which was especially useful with two messy kids! The hot tub was lovely and was checked daily throughout our stay. The park has some great amenities on site: the swimming pool was clean, well maintained and not too cold for baby, it was also such a lovely bonus to be able to book it for just our family. Kids play area, indoor kids play room and kitchen providing takeaways also on site, and a short walk to a great local play area for the kids and to the local village for two local pubs (book meals at the pubs in advance during the Summer, they were booked up every evening all week! But the food at the Plough we had for our Sunday lunch was lovely!) Very little negative to say, only that although the grass had been cut in the outdoor area at the back of the lodge, we did find that there were lots of thistles growing through which meant that I had to make sure my little 18 month old had leggings on to play out otherwise she kept falling onto the thistles and hurting her little legs! Also that we had trouble to get Netflix to work on the TVs as there doesn't seem to be a strong enough internet connection, but this was a minor issue as Freeview channels were available and we did notice that a selection of DVDs were provided too.

It’s lovely place to stay and have nice rest.

Great service

We had a lovely week at Maple lodge.

The checking in was quick and straightforward. The accommodation was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we may have needed. Very private and relaxing garden and hot tub. Ideal for families alike and would definitely recommend. Would like to go again with other family members but as the accommodation that allows pets only sleeps two it's not possible at the moment. Maple lodge is so spacious it would be ideal.

Lovely time relaxing at Maple Lodge.

The hot tub was lovely. A clothes dryer would have been an extra that would have been appreciated.

What a lovely lodge to celebrate my birthday and chill out all weekend with my girlfriends.

The place was amazing, the quality of the everything was really good.

Was very relaxing and facilities were new or near new. So really happy. If there were more activities near by, that probably would be the final thing to make this perfect.

We stayed in the maple at the beginning of December with friends after watching four in a bed and found the lodge very warm and cosy even though it was freezing outside.

The onsite kitchen cafe was a bonus and loved the hot tub. The lodge was equipped with everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay we will definitely book again

Lovely lodge in a stunning location it had everything we could have needed for an enjoyable stay.

The plough restaurant in the village did some superb food and was only five minutes walk away.

Lodge was excellent, brand new, we were the first to stay in it, in fact they were still putting the finishing touches to it when we arrived.

Facilities were excellent, although could do with some small additional items such as iron & ironing board and rotary washing line in garden. Cafe on attached caravan site is excellent, serving great quality homemade food and short 10 minute walk down footpath takes you to Greetham and a small shop and 2 pubs. The Plough serves excellent food and is very friendly, also has a large garden with pets corner and ice cream shop, can't comment on The Wheatsheaf as it was closed the week we were there. We will definitely return as loved the lodge and so much to do in the area.
