Pear Tree Lodge

What a lovely comfortable place.

There was everything there to make our stay perfect. As well as an enclosed paved area, nicely planted with colourful bedding plants we had use of the main, large, garden, ideal for sitting and watching the various birds and butterflies, I lovely place to sit and chill. The owners Tracey and Ramon are lovely and always asked if everything was ok whenever we saw them, but there were no complaints from us whatsoever! We will definitely be returning next year.

We had a lovely time, nice quite village, with garage/shop just a walk away.

Only a short drive away to Huttoft beach or Anderby Creek.. A 10 minute drive away is Sutton on sea.

It’s quite a tricky one, I’m afraid!

The lodge itself was beautiful, very clean with a fabulous shower and comfortable bed. Towels lovely and fluffy. However, the settee and ‘armchair’ were dreadful! Absolutely no padding on the arms of the chair, just fabric upholstered over wood, and the settee wasn’t much better. Absolutely no support and we had to put scatter cushions under the seat cushions to try and bolster it somewhat!! The enclosed patio area is a nice idea but full of pigeon droppings which could/should have been swept away before our arrival!!! Difficult for us to clear as there was no sweeping brush supplied!!! The grass in front of the lodge was cut and neatly maintained but the edges of the plot were in disrepair with rubbish left all around. Piles of wood with an axe left out all week, and generally extremely untidy. We didn’t see the owners at all, in fact the house looked empty!! The grain mill at the back of the lodge was running all week, obviously, but that didn’t disturb us. The noise others have mentioned, we found to be minimal. The first impression as you drive onto the site was disappointing. It resembled a building site! We love this area of Lincolnshire, but sadly because of the aforementioned points, we will not be re booking Pear Tree Lodge.

Second visit to Pear tree really enjoyed our time, just a few little niggles some toiletries in the shower room would be nice no soap on arrival, also only two toilet rolls, not enough for two people staying for a week.

Sofa is very uncomfortable especially the arm rests you can feel lumps of wood on the insides, Apart from this very nice and warm and nicely decorated,

Lovely place.

Spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed and an excellent shower. It was nice and warm inside, and the location is great with the beach within walking distance. The garden was fully enclosed, which was perfect for our dog. The owners were really friendly too. Some reviews mentioned noise from the factory, but we didn’t hear anything. We’d happily stay here again.

Comfortable cosy and spotlessly clean . Good location for visiting nearby resorts . We especially like Huttoft beach . Perfect for walking dog . We would definitely book again .

A fantastically furnished lodge with everything you need.

Beautifully decorated with great quality fixtures and fittings. Such a tranquil holiday and the owners were very friendly. Would definitley recommend staying in Pear Tree Lodge. Comfiest bed we've slept in on a holiday.

The lodge itself was very nice, special mention should be given to the housekeeper as it was one of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed in.

The accommodation was just right for two people with easy access to both quiet walks and the main coast road. Unfortunately it was spoilt by the noise from the neighbouring poultry feed distribution centre which started at 4 A.M each day, couple this with the construction of a ‘solar farm’ on the same location it was hardly the quiet site advertised. We did though have a lovely time!

Wow ,what a lovely little place .

So peaceful and in a lovely little village. Decorated to a very high standard and comfortable furnishings throughout. Everything was superb. We travelled with our little dog and the enclosed garden out the back door was just great .. Positoned between Skegness and mablethorpe ,and just 2 miles from huttoft beach which our rescue dog loved .it was a lovely relaxing,cosy week at pear tree lodge and we are already looking to book our next visit,we didn't want to leave .Thankyou Tracy and Ramon for a wonderful visit .Tracy ,chris and cairo xx

noise from farm next door heavy hgvs loading and unloading. Rear garden not enclosed my young labrador slipped lead and headed for road .thankfully the lady caught her.otherwise no complaints.

Fantastic everything about the accommodation was first class.

A proper home from home in a great location. We had a really restful time and we will be returning as soon as our schedules allow
