...pure luxury with hot tube, brilliant views of wildlife by lake. Everything we needed was in the lodge. Welcome basket full of goodies and bubbles and balloons to Welcome our friends birthday. Ideal for group get together.

This spacial property certainly has the WOW factor.

…quality furniture and furnishings. It is very well equipped, and has wonderful facilities. The Ice Cream Station was a welcome treat along with a very comprehensive welcome basket and drinks. The beautiful surroundings, next to a small lake provide a peaceful, quiet and relaxing break with plenty to do in nearby Lincoln and local wildlife venues. In the middle of the heatwave, we appreciated the shady outdoor veranda and balcony, including the comfy outdoor furniture, secluded hot tub, and Bbq. We especially loved watching the wildlife especially the large resident heron. Phil and Jo, the owners have thought of everything, and go way beyond the norm to ensure a great holiday, including a rendezvous the next day to help us recover an important item left behind! Many thanks to Phil and Jo. We are hoping to return to this gem!

Where can I start!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at lake view lodge! The hosts were more than attentive and were always on hand with super speedy replies helping me organise a little something special for a birthday guest! The lodge has everything you need and more, the most equipped I’ve ever been too. The fishing was great too! Thanks so much for having us, we will definitely be back!

Simply amazing!

We booked for my partners 40th birthday and it was magical. The decor and standard in the lodge is simply stunning! The attention to detail was amazing! What a beautiful place to have stayed! Phil/Jo - thank you so much for everything!!

We all had an amazing time at Lake View celebrating our son's and daughter-in-laws first wedding anniversary.

Phil and Jo surprised us with anniversary balloons, bubbly, chocolates and a fabulous hamper for the occasion. We couldn't have wished for a more wonderful place to be (even the weather was amazing) and will definitely be returning next year! Thank you so much Phil and Jo.

A beautiful and peaceful location.

The log cabin furnished to a high standard. Very cosy evenings with a log burner. Enjoyed so much had to book again.

From the minute we stepped through the door, we knew we had picked the perfect place.

The quality of the Lodge and all the small personal touches were incredible - the welcome pack, every utility you could imagine, the log burner, the hot tub and the beautifully designed rooms. The setting around the lake is simply breathtaking, very relaxing and quiet. It was so easy to get to and only 5 miles outside of Lincoln. Lots to see and do locally as well. We look forward to becoming a regular here!

..what a fantastic lodge this is. Extremely well furnished with beautiful decor. Spotlessly clean throughout. Hot tub fantastic. The owners have thought of everything, from board games to high-end hot drinks. They also supplied a lovely welcome pack with bread, milk, shortbread, crisps, cake & a box of chocolates. We stayed for a 50th birthday & the owners decorated the lodge with balloons on request to a very high standard. Thanks Phil & Jo, we'll definately be back

We stayed here over the christmas period, my family of four, my parents, my sister and her daughter and everyone said the same thing as they walked in "WOW".

The hosts really had pretty much thought of everything, the lodge was beautifully decorated for christmas and the welcome gifts were lovely. The hosts were very helpful and kind, answered all questions I asked and even sourced some jump leads and helped us get our car started when we couldn't. Would 100% recommend this lodge.

Our family all had a wonderful week away to celebrate a BIG birthday. The Lodge was everything we could have wished for and more. From the initial booking to the day we headed home Phil & Jo did all they could to make our stay very special including lots of extra treats.The balloon decoration was a great touch and very much appreciated. The property is perfect, in a lovely setting but in easy reach of Lincoln & the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend & would love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at lake view lodge.

A very wholesome family weekend with lots of family memories made, the men enjoyed the perk of the fishing lake right on the edge of the lodge balcony. Everything was perfect, very well equipt and immaculate. Phil and Jo were so easy to communicate with and overall couldn’t say anything they could improve on.

We were a group of 8 friends in 4 couples celebrating my Brother's 40th Birthday.

From the moment I booked the lodge I had great communication with Phil via email. I wanted the lodge decorated and and earlier check in which was all arranged by Phil with no problems. The lodge itself was AMAZING! It has absolutely everything you need and the small touches made the break away exceptional. The venue is quiet, relaxing and everything is just as shown in the pictures. I recommend this lodge to anyone who wants a luxury stay.

WOW, what a place for a truly relaxing stay.

It is 100% perfection...nothing had been overlooked to ensure your stay would be a good one. Cleanliness and decor - spot - on. Many thoughtful extras were so appreciated and games and books were in plentiful supply in case of bad weather. I have to mention all the little things that were supplied : Dishwasher & wash tabs, hand wash, phone chargers, even a selection of various sauces....so very helpful. Finally...the best place we have ever stayed. Well done Phil & Jo.

This was a fabulous place to stay.

Very clean and welcoming. Beautiful setting and amazing attention to detail. Kitchen was well equipped and guidebook / instruction manual very detailed and helpful . Communication with the owners before, during and after our stay was very much appreciated , especially as they were able to amend arrival and departure times to suit our needs . The welcome hamper / ice cream provision and special birthday treats were greatly appreciated. Thank you Phil and Jo . Would highly recommend.

Lovely stay at lake view lodge.

The owners go above and beyond to make sure everything’s very comfortable. There is everything you beed facility wise. Extra touches like sweets for the kids and ice cream parlour etc was really lovely and appreciated. Couldn’t fault it. Fishing on the lake for the kids (and adults) was excellent. The area itself if good walking distance to a nice little pub and a nice nature park which was a lovely walk. Thanks for having us and we would return.

Had a birthday get together with 8 girlfriends and it was exactly what we wanted. The lovely little extra gifts were so well thought of and the ice cream was just delicious. The owners were fantastic at responding promptly and gave really helpful advice and recommendations. We would definitely return again and maybe bring the husbands next time !!

Absolutely stunning property, even better than the pictures, very spacious, the owners have clearly stayed there themselves as everything you'd need is there and some.

They have gone above and beyond to make your stay perfect. If your into your fishing you won't be disappointed there are some big carp in the lake. The outdoor furniture is fabulous and the blankets supplied are a nice touch for cooler nights. We loved it and will be back.

This lodge was absoluteley perfect!

We stayed from Friday to Monday to celebrate my grandson's 11th birthday. If you want the lodge dressing with balloons for a special occasion, I'd highly recommend contacting Phil and Jo. We requested a Minecraft theme and were very happy with what they provided and the price was very reasonable. As an added surprise, not only did they leave a gift for the birthday boy, as they knew 2 younger children were in our group, they also left a gift for them. What a lovely, thoughtful gesture :) The lodge is exquisitely decorated and furnished, all the rooms are spacious and it is so well equipped. And the little touches like the welcome basket, ice-cream station, collection of books and games were well used! The hot-tub, outside seating areas and the fishing lake were the highlight for us. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing. Phil and Jo's communiction prior to our stay was reassuring and they definitely went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was perfect, I'd highly recommend their beautiful lodge.

Wow, this place is absolutely stunning.

Add to that the most amazing hosts, Phil and Jo, and you have the perfect place to stay. You literally couldn’t want for anything when you come here as the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay the most enjoyable ever, even food for the ducks! I stayed here with 6 friends and the lodge just lends itself to spending quality time together. Hot tub, outdoor seating, fishing if you want it and it is just so tranquil and relaxing. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and can’t wait to stay again

Stayed for my 40th birthday, this lodge is spectacular!

Phil and Jo, the owners, keep the Lake View Lodge at an impeccable level of clean and tidy, and there are some special touches around too including hotel chocolat velvetiser, blankets, hot tub robes and slippers and the list goes on! A real credit to the owners and an absolute gem of a find! The stunning views are a bonus, and also we enjoyed feeding the ducks with the duck food provided (Phil and Jo thought of everything!). Thank you in abundance for having us, and we hope to be back next year!! AMAZING! And the town of Lincoln is lovely too. Louise and friends :-)

Booked a short break to celebrate our sons upcoming 16th and 18th birthdays was blown away with the Lodge it looks nice on pics and definitely exceeds expectations when u arrive.

It was clean ,comfortable and peaceful and the hamper and extras was a nice touch. Would highly recommend a stay and hope to go back again soon thanks phil and jo

Absolutely beautiful lodge inside and out.

From the finer details to the bigger, everything was laid out perfectly. The cleanliness was next level and the special touches, for instance the welcome hamper and the robe/ slippers were warmly received. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything worked lovely. Nearby to the town centre, just a short drive away but far enough out that it was peaceful and more like a holiday. Such a stunning place to stay - thank you to such brilliant hosts too Phil and Jo who are very accommodating allowing us earlier check and later check out. Nothing was too big an ask and they replied straight away to any questions. Really loved our stay and would 10/10 recommend to everyone!

An absolutely fantastic place and property to spend the weekend!

Phil & Jo couldn't be more helpful in the run up with several briefings prior to the stay with things such as directions, property instructions and making the most of the stay. The property is fantastic, we had a group of 7 with no issues regarding space given the size of the property and felt like we were in a home away from home. We were greeted with a snack box, beer and prosecco complimentary of Phil & Jo which was a lovely personal touch along with every thought out detail and a very well equipped kitchen!. Would thoroughly recommend staying here!

We have had the most fabulous weekend away celebrating my husbands birthday with friends.

The lodge is stunning and everything is done to the highest and most luxurious standard! There is nothing that the owners haven't thought off and it's clear their guests having the best it is the most important thing to them. Absolutely beautiful place!

Amenities provided were great and the added goodies were an extra special bonus! The place was spotless and very relaxing- all the beds were comfy and plenty of space for 7 people to sit in communal areas. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the views over the lake. Phil was incredibly attentive and kept in excellent communication throughout, making our trip completely stress free- he even let us know we could check in early and leave later! Would highly recommend and would love to return one day :)

Amazing place and location for a family get together from 2-78 yrs old!

As soon as we walked we all agreed we wanted to live there!! There were so many little touches in the lodge that made it feel homely. Phil & Jo exceeded all expectations and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hamper on arrival was superb!! They had simply thought of everything. We will return without a doubt. There was nothing you could have asked for. There was 8 woman and we all had the best time here. The lodge was impeccably presented, with high quality decor and furnishings, and was very clean and tidy.

The hamper of goodies was a fantastic and unexpected touch. The communication and check-in instructions were thorough and easily understood. The lodge is in a great location, only 20 mins to Lincoln and situated in a lovely resort of similar lodges around a picturesque lake. We were very impressed with the lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We booked the lodge to celebrate a special birthday with family.

The lodge itself was really lovely and probably the best equipped self catering property that I have stayed in. Not only was there everything that you could possibly need but it was all good quality & in abundance. The welcome goodies were very generous and of good quality. The icecream station was very well received & such a good idea. When the owner knew of our celebration, a fantastic display of balloons were decorating the lodge on our arrival - far outweighing our expectations. The weather wasn't the best whilst we were there but the lovely throws allowed us to still make good use of the veranda in the evening taking in the lovely surroundings. All in all we had a really lovely short break in a beautiful lodge. We left with the feeling that the owners really enjoyed renting out their property & ensuring visitors had a lovely time.

Attention to detail was spot on.

Little touches around welcome pack, dressing gowns, binoculars and duck food, games, books and more. Bedding, decor, etc were all quality ..... loved our stay and provided a base for us to make so many memories with local friends and family

We spent 4 days at lake view lodge and it was definitely not enough!

! We were so eager to stay longer as it was such a lovely time. Everything from the beds being comfy to catching loads of fish, it was a 10/10 experience and the hot tub was such an added bonus. Hopefully will be back soon!

The photos don't do the lodge justice.

We were met with a few lovely surprises, I won't spoil it for future guests, but our children were very impressed! The owners have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, we made use of the hot tub and the BBQ on the decking, there is ample space in the kitchen and utility area for any cooking and blankets are supplied for cooler evenings. The only think I would recommend is to take midge spray. Our visit was short but we will definitely be back.

Lakeview lodge is stunning inside and out.

Lots of things to do around the area eating out, sightseeing, shopping you are very central to a lot of amenities. The lodge itself was very clean, modern and could not ask for anything whilst staying there, welcome hamper on arrival went down amazing as well as the games and hot tub, the little touches like dressing gown and slippers and the ice cream too ☺️ If you want to get away from everyday busy life I fully recommend lakeview with the stunning views and peaceful setting. Phil the owner was brilliant on hand if you needed anything a real treat staying here and we will deffo be booking again. 5* review could not fault a thing thank you for a fabulous stay

What an incredible property, perfectly complemented by the most accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble for Phil and the extra little touches around the lodge were so thoughtful. I’ve never stayed anywhere so perfect and so clean! Phil’s attention to detail and obvious passion to ensure his guests have best stay is tangible. No wonder Lake View Lodge is one of the top rated properties on Sykes - I will definitely be visiting again!

We have had a wonderful week at Phil & Jo’s Lake Side Lodge.

They had thought of everything from robes & slippers for the hot tub to blankets for staying cosy on the veranda on an evening. The ‘welcome hamper’ was brimming with treats that were enjoyed by children and adults alike. Fishing on the lodge lake or a dip in the hot tub was the perfect end to days of sightseeing in Lincoln and walks in the local area. We would definitely return to this beautiful and tranquil retreat. Stayed at Lake View Lodge from Friday to Monday 2nd-5th Feb.

There were 7 adults in the group. The Lodge itself was absolutely faultless. It definitely had the WOW factor as we walked through the door. Excellently finished with quality furniture and furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Immaculate!! Felt like home and not a rental. Bedrooms were amazing especially the master bedroom. The Lodge had absolutely everything we needed and more!! Hamper on arrival is a very appreciated personal touch, with fresh bread, snacks, milk and welcome drinks. Outside area is very good size for group of adults, huge hot tub, big enough for all, so Noone was left out. Very peaceful surroundings around the lake, and very pretty. Phil was very professional before, during and after our stay. Very good communication, and ensuring everything was as it should be for us. Would not hesitate to come here again, and in fact have already recommended it to so many people after only being home 1 day!!! Loved it!! Thankyou once again Phil and Jo

We've just celebrated Christmas 2023 weel in Lake View lodge which was of ver 'high spec', beautifully decorated for Christmas and very well equipped.

We were very welcomed with hamper and champagne and our Grandson had a lovely balloon sculpture from the owners Phil & Jo. It was very helpul to have an email from the owners before arrival with a Welcome Booklet - which was very informative. Great Wifi and we all enjoyed the hot tub, sitting outside on the decking area and especially relaxing in the evening in front of the log burner. Location was perfect for visiting Lincoln. We've had the most wonderful enjoyable week and would definitely recommend the Lodge for comfort, quiet location and beautiful surroundings. Overall we would highly recommend and we can't wait to visit again. Andrew Saunt

Lake view lodge was a beautiful stay and had amazing hosts.

The lodge was very clean, warm and inviting with lots of utilities available such as hairdryer, iron, robes, coffee machine etc. we were even provided with a lovely hamper on arrival with fresh bread and other goodies. Phil was great and replied quickly to any questions we had and the hot tub was a great addition. Would highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to plan our next stay already

Wow what a little gem!

! We arrived on the Friday night at teatime and were not disappointed. The owners were great with their information for pre check in. The lodge is stunning, the attention to detail was outstanding from the decor to the little hamper left for us to enjoy. Self catering was made easier with everything you can think of in the kitchen. This is the best lodge we have ever stayed in for location, facilities and finish. We loved it - thank you again for an amazing weekend.

We had the most amazing long weekend at lake view lodge, the place and surroundings were beautiful with excellent amenities nearby.

Phil was an excellent host, giving us so much information prior to our arrival which really helped with our stay. The added extra of a hamper and champagne topped off this outstanding property. Thank you so much and we can’t wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful house with the most amazing view.

We had the best weekend. House had literally everything you could think of and the arrival baskets were such a lovely and welcoming touch. Hosts had thought of everything. Spotless and the decor is stunning. Highly recommend and will absolutely return.

There were 8 of us over the weekend and then my husband and I stayed on.

I cannot praise the cleanliness and luxury of the lodge enough. The gift pack left for us from the owners was lovely and we appreciated the alcohol too. This was ideally placed in terms of relaxation and wonderful views, but also visiting Lincoln and the lakes for long walks. We will definitely be returning next year.

We had a lovely stay and had everything we needed and more Great to have logs etc provided for the log burner as it hasn't happened at some holiday homes lovely snacks and drink left for us The owners have done a great job.

Fabulous lodge.

Worked really well for eight ladies for a girly weekend - half 60+ and the others around 30. Very comfortable beds and the open plan living dining kitchen area was really spacious and was ample for all of us without ever feeling cramped. Had a minor issue with one of the showers which Phil sorted out very quickly. Would definitely recommend the lodge to others - we're thinking about possibly a return visit at some point. A great retreat.

We absolutely loved this property, it was absolutely perfect for my sister’s 30th birthday.

We had 3 under 2’s and it was so well equipped for them as well. I feel like the owners had thought of everything and had made it even more special with little touches such as a hamper, drinks and offered a balloon service and set it up for when we got there which was amazing! They kept in contact and were very fast at replying. We have already recommended this property to friends.

This lodge was absolutely amazing.

Everything we expected and more. From the booking process from Sykes and then with the owners Phil & Jo during our stay was top class. They obviously put their heart and soul into this property. The furnishings and fittings were fantastic quality, so well thought out and even though we were there for a week, we did not get a chance to use every facility offered. The owners had left us a wonderful welcome hamper and were at hand to assist us if needed. The lodge itself is in a wonderful location with great fishing right on your doorstep and also plenty of places to visit a short drive away. Inside the lodge you have everything you need for your stay and it finished to a very high standard throughout. We would definitely recommend Lake View Lodge for a great place to stay

this was absolutely amazing.

The owners had thought of everything! The lodge was pristine and had everything you would need. This is the height of luxury. I can honestly say this is the best ever place we have stayed in. The welcome pack was well received and very generous. The owners were fabulous too. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very welcoming and helpful. The neighbours were all really friendly too . The actual site was so peaceful and a perfect location. The fishing was great, the fish were so active and you could feed them by hand! I cannot thank the owners enough for giving us the perfect holiday.

A beautifully furnished lodge in a peaceful location.

Phil and Jo put a lot of effort into making our stay one of the best holidays we have had in a self catering accomodation. Everything in the lodge is of excellent quality and well presented. My brother caught 76 fish(carp, bream and rudd) in just four days. We gave up counting after that! There is plenty to see and do in the area. A trip to Bomber Command Centre is highly recommend and food at the local Railway pub is delicious, but you do need to book a table. The cathedral is a must (use the Park and Ride from Waitrose further along A46) along with a walk down (preferably not up!) Steep Hill. Thanks Phil and Jo for the lovely flowers and we look forward to hopefully being able to stay in your fabulous property again.

We were blown away by how beautiful the cottage is.

It was the perfect size for 6 adults and 4 children. The special extras like the hamper and offer to buy an additional cot was well over and above what we expected. A big thank you to Phil and Jo for making our weekend so wonderful!

An absolutely stunning lodge overlooking the lake in a very tranquil setting.

The lodge is immaculate and furnished to an extremely high standard. All the rooms are amazing and could not fault the cleanliness throughout. Only 15 minutes drive to Lincoln which we visited several times. The welcome hamper was just superb!! Amazing lodge and stay and would 100% recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful place to get away for a few days!

We had plans to do a few activities while in Lincoln but after seeing our accommodation, we were very content with staying at the lodge most of the time! Would highly recommend it ticked every box for a relaxing break.

Beautiful lake side lodge, furnished to a very high standard and extremely clean and comfortable too.

The welcome pack was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic well laid out facilities. Phil the owner was really kind and helpful and helped make our stay so enjoyable. An ideal place to unwind and relax or celebrate an occasion. Just a few miles from Lincoln city and there are so many walks nearby too. This definitely the best place we have ever stayed, just brilliant.

Beautiful place to stay.

Stayed for a week with friends, the lodge was very week equipped and beautifully decorated. Phil was a brilliant host, very helpful and left a generous hamper for us to enjoy. Location was great, many pubs local and close to Lincoln town. The view was lovely onto the lake and made use of the fishing lake, great carp. The site is very peaceful, will be returning. Thank you again!

An absolute gem of a property, Anything you think you will need is supplied including tea and coffee.

The property is so comfortable and warm even in Feb the underfloor heating kept us warm enough we didn't need the log burner (logs supplied) The info pack helped with everything else will definitely be returning and have several friends planning trips back.

The lodge is immaculate and and decorated to an incredibly high spec with every comfort thought about by Phil and Jo. It is extremely comfortable and spacious and was a delight to stay in for myself and my family - we had an incredible stay and the extra touches such as the blankets, robes and generous welcome basket was very thoughtful! The hot tub is lovely and and everything that you need is provided by Phil and Jo for a wonderful stay. Phil and Jo were in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed and were quick to reply to any messages we sent. I recommend their beautiful lodge to anybody wishing to stay near Lincoln and look forward to returning there when in that area again! We visited Lincoln a couple of times and it is only a 15 min drive so perfect place to stay to see the wonderful sights Lincoln has to offer! Cannot recommend this lodge enough!

Stayed for the weekend with family and absolutely loved it. Phil was most helpful prior to our arrival and went the extra mile to help make it special at our request. The lodge itself is beautiful, clean, well kept, well stocked, comfortable and is perfect looking over the lake. There was little touches that just made it stand out, robes and slippers and a special hamper on arrival. We would definitely return without hesitation!

Amazing weekend away, the property has everything you need.

We received a cute hamper with goodies in when we arrived and the contact from Phil & Jo was spot on. We explored Lincoln and enjoyed our time chilling in the hot tub. Pubs in walking distance for drinks and food and the centre is only a 15 minute drive. Beautiful & clean the property. Would 100% recommend we will be back.

The lodge exceeded our expectations.

The lodge was very spacious, comfortable and spotless. Attention to detail was exceptional, the owners had thought about everything you need and made sure there was lovely special touches.The decor and furnishings were 5 star and the view looking over the lake was beautiful. Wonderful 3 days and we would all recommend this lodge to our friends.A little gem in a very tranquil setting.

Lake View Lodge was just as beautiful as the photos!

We celebrated my sisters 30th birthday and everyone was taken a back by how gorgeous the lodge was, from the decor, the cleanliness, and the extra little goodies. We were able to fully relax for the weekend and only wished we could have stayed longer. I would 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at your lodge and was blown away by all the little touches.

Considering it's a cabin we felt like we were in a cosy home away from home. Super comfortable beds, great amount of space, more than enough cutlery/plates etc. Very generous gift hamper, we loved the plum bread! Really could not fault it. The only feedback I could think of was maybe having a shelf in the shower to save bending down. Something most wouldn't need but I noticed being 7 months pregnant. But that's literally the only thing!! Thank you again Jo and Phil you really have a wonderful place, can't wait to come back!

! The lodge was amazing and the owners had thought of everything that we may possibly need and more! There were really lovely extra touches such as the welcome hamper and Prosecco. Thank you! The fishing was excellent too which meant my husband and son were well entertained! The site is peaceful and we enjoyed sitting on the decking with our morning coffee watching the heron and the kingfisher! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this lodge to others - we will definitely be back!
