    “To be honest lodge 108 was good.”

    However, please see below our observations : 1/ The oven only worked intermittently - Many times it would go off mid cooking. 2/ The grill never worked. 3/ To have only 3 dishwasher tablets all week was very poor, thus needed to buy our own. 4/ Had to buy our own washing up liquid due to very little present. 5/ To only have 1 towel each for the whole week was very disappointing. Surely 2 towels each should be left. 6/ 1 of the plugs next to the TV does not work. 7/ The water pressures ...

It isn't the cost but the principle. We paid to stay in the lodge and site due to the facilities provided. There is no mention of further costs for the use of the spa and facilities. 9/ We wanted to hire bikes however, each time we couldn't due to being closed. 10/ Bethany on reception was lovely, warm and helpful however, the staff within the spa were not warm and friendly.In fact they were miserable and clearly came over as not happy to work there at all. Mablethorpe 15 miles; Skegness 23 miles; Lincoln 26 miles.

When ready to discover the very best that the area has to offer, grab your walking boots and head for the Lincolnshire Wolds – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; or nearby Hubbard’s Hills. You can enjoy a beach day at any time of year on the vast beaches of the Lincolnshire coast – Theddlethorpe or Moggs Eye are good places to start. For something a bit more lively try any of the well-known coastal resorts – Cleethorpes, Sutton-on-Sea and Skegness. A 45 minute drive takes you to Fantasy Island theme park at Ingoldmells, where you can ride thrilling rollercoasters or just enjoy the faces of your family and friends riding them! The Georgian market town of Louth is a hidden gem. The town is blessed with a wide range of independent shops and eateries.
