Very comfortable peaceful place, 2 miles from alford where there is shops, not far from mablethorpe.

Peaceful location with good dog walks.

Accommodation was fine, slightly dusty but probably due to location in woodland area. Toaster needs replacing and underneath of sink and bath plugs were stained and require cleaning regularly. The holiday was spoilt by the obviously major electrical works being carried out in the area which meant that without any warning we had 3 days of power cuts one in the early evening leaving us incomplete blackness with only a torch for light. On enquiry we were informed that prior warning had been sent to all property owners regarding the works being carried out and we feel that as a matter of courtesy we should have been notified of this and given the option to either proceed with the booking or rearrange. We found the whole situation very stressful and completely ruined what would have been a very enjoyable holiday. However despite this we would return

lovely setting,only 4 lodges (2x 2 bed 2x3bed)on site ideal for family get togethers.

Quiet location with plenty of walks from the door step yet the coast not far ,Lincoln,maplethorpe,cleethorpes etc all within reach for a day out. If you want a chill out vacation this is it coffee/wine on the varander -walk in the woods with the dogs perfect.

We were extremely happy staying at Goldcrest, from the initial arrival along quiet roads, to the lovely peaceful surroundings where the lodges are located, to the cosy and well equipped accomodation itself, no complaints whatsover.

There are plenty of short or long walking opportunities from the moment you step outside, and the wildlife is abundant, we came across Deer, Weasels, Hares, Squirrels and Field Mice from day one. There are some amenities closeby and of course larger towns with supermarkets for example only a short drive away, but for places like this it is the solitude and peace that we come for. Please respect the nature and litter free location.

Lovely little cabin.

Presented well and owners are easy to get hold off if needed. Completely away from everything so no disturbances. There are 4 cabins on this site. Has all you need. There also is a shared laundry cabin. Excellent for a base to then go of and explore lincolnshire. Would recommend.

Lovely location very tranquil just what we needed the cabin was lovely well presented very well played out and the beds are so comfy and everything you needed was there.

We had a very enjoyable week and will certainly be coming back

LOVED our stay here!

Peacefully tucked away, with plenty of space surrounding the cabins, great for both us and the dogs. Being well away from any main roads meant this was very quiet & relaxing, with walks through surrounding fields direct from your door. Also great for spotting lots of wildlife! The cabin itself was very comfortable, cosy, well laid out, and felt spacious with a lovely outlook & veranda. It has a homely feel the minute you walk in. Location also great both for access to the wide range of dog-friendly beaches along this stretch of coastline, and to the many pretty villages & towns, with some great local pubs and cafes. Would absolutely come here again! Thank you very much to the family who own these lodges :-)

A superb place in a secluded quiet location.

Miles from anywhere but close enough to everywhere. We will be going back

Cabin was lovely Everything we needed enjoyed the peaceful surroundings nice walks with dogs just a lovely place to stay

The accommodation was very dark but thars to be expected as it was in a wood, however we did find we needed lights on a lot of the time, to see to do anything.

Construction was dark wood that didn't help so did feel as if we were in a very dark room in the main area. The sofa and armchairs are well past their best, both armchairs had a booster cushion but that didn't really help as felt like I was sitting on the floor, very very hard to get up from. A shame they looked comfy! The beds were comfy apart from the usual plastic mattress protector but do understand the need for them but very sticky during the night. Kitchen was fine equipped the the berol gtreen plates etc. On the plus side it was in a great area suitable for getting around walking or by car/bike etc. Very peaceful with just the four lodges.
