We had a really lovely stay here, such a relaxing environment and beautiful lodge.

Wonderful to have such an open space to enjoy, can’t wait to return!

Lovely clean Lodge, complementary chocolates and prosecco were such a lovely surprise!

We really enjoyed our stay here and would book again. The only thing I would say is the heating was left too high and the lodge was far to hot on arrival!

Can’t recommend this place enough!

I found the prices very reasonable, especially considering the hot tub is included. The lodge was very clean, not a spec of dirt anywhere. I had an issue and called the owner, he was so lovely and reassuring. The bed was comfy and the blinds were fab at blocking out the light. The shower and hot tub were so warm. We were given Prosecco, snacks and other bits when we arrived which was such a wonderful touch. The location of the lodge is fab, round the corner from a few pubs, fast food places etc. and a short drive to some good spots. I would recommend the lodge and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It was lovely when we entered the lodge to find the table and beds decorated with flowers and chocolate!

And a bottle of prosecco in the fridge! Great facilities and good kitchen equipment. Could do with hooks being attached to some doors and maybe a few towel rings in the bathrooms.

Beautiful location & accommodation was comfortable.

Only negative was it was left so hot upon arrival - it maintains the heat so well it didn’t need to be set so high - we ended up turning it off but it still took nearly the whole stay to actually be cooler.

This is the second time we've visited and love it. The location is peaceful, despite being close to local facilities and the property is clean and good vale.

And complimentary Prosecco! Just a few little niggles - not enough glasses, the fridge was a bit loose in the cupboard (it started to fall out as it was opened), could do with a lamp near the settee and the plastic highchair should be removed if not needed.

Had a lovely family weekend break at this well equipped lovely lodge, you have thought of everything and the gift in the fridge was much appreciated.

Have stayed in various lodges at Thorpe-on-the-Hill over the years as it is a great location for the golf next door, Whisby Nature Reserve and the garden centres and parkrun at Doddington.

We had a lovely stay and was relaxing with the hot tub which is what we wanted.

The only recommendations I would give are just the little details; only 1 tumbler glass, 3 wine glass and 2 champagne glass as one was cracked and there were four people staying so not enough for everyone, only 1 toilet roll was left for a 4 day stay luckily we had brought some with us, the door to the back bedroom with en-suite did not shut as the metal part on frame was broken so had to keep putting suitcase in front to keep closed so other guests didn’t see getting changed, we also found glass out on the decking that had not been cleared from previous people staying. The lodge was lovely but just feel these little things make a huge difference to the stay for future reference.

The Lodge is lovely, the kitchen is well equipped and the hot tub is a really nice end of day delight.

The Lodge was beautiful, it was clean and well presented.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nicely positioned and felt private and not overlooked. The site was nice and quiet with easy access to Lincoln and plenty of local things to do and facilities. We even had a Chinese delivered to us one evening. Only thing missing was a dishwasher but we didn't really miss it. Lovely stay, lovely lodge, would definitely recommend and will visit again. Thank you.

We all had a great time.

The place was peaceful. Lots of room in-between the lodges. Excellent place to stay. The hot tub was lovely and warm and ready to use. We will be back again.

Property was as discribed and pictured.

Enough room for a young family like us with all the additional baby stuff! There was a lot of dust, cobwebs and hair everywhere, especially all over the sofa- we got covered everytime we sat down so didn’t really want my baby laying on there. Otherwise a comfortable stay, not far from Lincoln. We booked due to the hot tub so we had e Some form of entertainment when our baby had been put down for the night and it didn’t disappoint. Well maintained and a very good hot tub! Thanks for the bubbles too! Very kind and very much enjoyed!

A great place to stay, clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Easy self check in and plenty of parking. Close to city centre and other attractions. I would definitely book again if I need a place to stay near Lincoln.

Lovely lodge, we enjoyed our stay and the dogs enjoyed the walks and the space at the back of the lodge.

We absolutely loved our stay, the home was lovely, the hot tub was amazing and we felt so relaxed it was unreal!

My only complaint is there was dog hair all over the sofa and my black trousers were covered. Apart from that we were over the moon with our stay, and will definitely be back and have already recommended to a friend :)

This was my second visit to the site and 2nd lodge, the lodges are all very nicely laid out and all feel private, Paul the on site manager is the most helpful and friendly person you could ever hope to meet, the fishing lake provides hours of enjoyment with several species to target and with a 9 hole golf course next door it is perfect for a relaxing break.

Beautiful lodge!

Great Location, Really private! Really easy to find, Could park outside. The hot tub was set up ready waiting for us! The place was absolutely spotless and Had everything and I mean everything you need for a week or a few days! The kids loved it! The only fault I can say, There was mould around the kitchen sink it needs a simple re-seal and good as new. Would absolutely book again in fact I can’t wait to revisit!

A welcome info book would have been handy, no wifi code or instructions on how to use the heating or hot tub for instance.

What is in the local area info would also have been handy.

We had a lovely 2 night stay.

The cottage was clean and cosy and had everything we needed 2 self-cater. The hot tub was ready and up to temp when we arrived too which was nice. The setting is lovely and peaceful, there's a wildlife reserve nearby that's a lovely long walk ans you're close enough to Lincoln to make the stay as busy or relaxing as you want. We chose to relax and make the most of the hot tub. As 4 adults, we did struggle to all have somewhere comfortable to sit in the evenings and one or 2 of us had to use the wooden chairs which was a bit more uncomfortable. It would have been nice to maybe had a separate armchair for relaxing in the evening. Overall, we loved out stay and plan to come back next year.
