In general, it was clean and well looked after. Previous reviews had mentioned that the kitchen was a bit worn, but for us, only the fridge was looking a bit tired. The seating, appliances, and electrical items were all fine and in good condition. One minor grumble was the absence of any sort of welcome book with details of how to use everything …. The underfloor heating (superb) had at least 4 different timer/thermostats that Stephen Hawking would have had difficulty with, as there were no instructions . On arrival, we were disappointed to be told that the hot tub had an electrical fault…..however this was remedied rapidly so that we could use it.
The grounds were well kept and tidy, and it was lovely a peaceful in the area. Lincoln was only 6 miles away…..but be warned…2 of the main routes into the city had just commenced road works expected to be long lasting
(Mid April 24) and it took 50 minutes to cover those miles ! Not the fault of the property though !
