Lodge 4

Lovely, comfy, spacious lodge and quiet location.

Looks like the photos. Needs some minor housekeeping (doors sticking, chipped crockery, rotten decking) but nothing major that affected the stay. Would recommend and visit again.

Overall property was really good and the easter gifts were a nice extra touch.

However, in the en suite the coving between the door and the sink near the floor was discoloured, it would do well to be sanded and repainted.

We loved our time here.

The Lodge was warm and welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfy. It was clean and well laid out, and the on site couple who managed the lodges were incredibly helpful if we had any issues and even had some great recommendations for things to do in the area. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay. We will be rebooking!

Really enjoyed our short star at Lodge 4.

The location and lodge was ideal for what we needed. The double bed was a little on the small side but that's my fault for being tall !! We struggled to work out the heating, so it was a tad toasty but apart from that, it was a lovely stay. Thanks for a nice long weekend and would certainly recommend Lodge 4

We were met by the Lovely Zoe and her welcoming smile, first impressions were of comfort and luxury, with some nice touches such as flowers and fizz.

A really enjoyable time in Lodge 4.

The only thing was that the oven took a long time to cook a pizza and then when went to use again it would not heat up, but thus did not spoil anything, we throughly enjoyed ourselves

Our Lodge was absolutely lovely.

Warm, and perfectly placed for walks, cafes etc. We loved the little touches, candy canes, chilled wine, and milk. It was nicely decorated and very well equipped. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would love to stay again in the summer.

The Lodges at this location never fail to live up to standards.

Yes, they are starting to look a little old with a couple of odd jobs that are needed to keep them up to impeccable standards, but saying that, they are all excellent. Lodge 4 comfortably sleeps 4 and has all the amenities you would expect from a lodge of this price. One thing to note if you have any problems at all then if you speak to the site maintenance man he is very happy to help and sort things out for you. I would thoroughly recommend these lodges to anyone thinking of staying in the Lincoln area. There are excellent transport options to all local areas and for those taking dogs, some excellent dog walks in the local area. Whisby Nature Park is a must for nature lovers and dog walkers alike.

Amazing lodge, really warm when we arrived!

Lodge had everything you need, toilet roll, towels, hand wash, body wash. Hot tub lid was broken on arrival, spoke to sykes and by the end of the day there was a new lid! Underfloor heating was fantastic. Fridge needs attention as it feels hot around top and bottom when opening. The only thing I would say is the bed in the main bedroom is very small, would benefit from kingsize! overall a great lodge to stay in!

Overall it was a lovely venue however the fridge wasn’t cold and didn’t keep our food fresh.

The door shelf was also cracked. This concerned us as we had bought meat. The shower head also appeared stuck and needs repairing. A few more rugs would have been nice on the flooring as well were woken up by my dog walking around hearing her nails tap the wooden floor.

Loved every minute.

Tha setting is beautiful and so quiet. Only things we found a little difficult , we were oldies 80s, were the large stones on the pathway, made balancing awkward. The bath and the shower tray were slippery and the settees seemed very low. Perhaps having instructions on how to regulate the heating would be helpful also lists of restaurants and places to see. We visited the Bomber command centre and can highly recommend it for a visit. Lincoln is a must see.

Lodge 4. We were pleasantly surprised it had been refurbished since the last time we stayed . It's such a quiet relaxing place. Great to finally have a smart TV with individual cabin Wifi. We'll be back

Amazing property in beautiful surroundings.

We stayed for 4 nights and we had such an amazing time, we will definitely be returning. The lodge was lovely and the beds very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice too and was very well used. One observation though and not a complaint is the decking at the back of the property where the hot tub is needs some upkeep/ replacing as it’s really uncomfortable on your feet and not very sturdy in places.

Everything was more than we expected.

1) We would of liked to increase the room temperature, it seemed to be set to 18°c.

Most of our stay it was fine but as the evenings got cooler we needed a little extra heat. 2) The toilets took a very long time for the cistern to refill. Not really an inconvenience but an observation.

Great property, thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

Only observation would be some fans would be good for warmer months as it gets very hot in there if you are lucky enough to have the weather we had. Lovely hot tub and surroundings and close to some good nature parks. L

Beautiful place and very quiet - just the relaxing break we wanted.

There could have been more cutlery etc and mattress toppers would be a great addition, but would definitely book again.

Lodge was fantastic and clean when we arrived.

Living/kitchen area was spaceous and well equipped. Bedrooms were neat and tidy and very comfortable. Hot tub was awesome, controls took a bit of working out but that was our lack of knowledge regarding their use and was solved quickly. Only minor issues we encounted was in regards to the property itself, a light fixture was loose in the main bathroom and the sink in the en suite had a slight wobble. Lastly the skirting around the bottom of the kitchen units was very loose and fell down. Minor issues aside we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

This was a lovely comfortable and well appointed lodge.

In general, it was clean and well looked after. Previous reviews had mentioned that the kitchen was a bit worn, but for us, only the fridge was looking a bit tired. The seating, appliances, and electrical items were all fine and in good condition. One minor grumble was the absence of any sort of welcome book with details of how to use everything …. The underfloor heating (superb) had at least 4 different timer/thermostats that Stephen Hawking would have had difficulty with, as there were no instructions . On arrival, we were disappointed to be told that the hot tub had an electrical fault…..however this was remedied rapidly so that we could use it. The grounds were well kept and tidy, and it was lovely a peaceful in the area. Lincoln was only 6 miles away…..but be warned…2 of the main routes into the city had just commenced road works expected to be long lasting (Mid April 24) and it took 50 minutes to cover those miles ! Not the fault of the property though !

The lodge was beautiful with wonderful facilities which were the extremely clean.

When we arrived we had a question for maintenance and the came very quickly as they are on site. The staff were just lovely and helpful! There were great instructions available for everything including the hot tub which was delightful. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was an ideal size for two adults and a child. I would recommend this for any group size up to 4 and my young nephew loved the space.

Fantastic place, could do with extra instructions on arrivals documents for people arriving in the dark but overall fantastic.

Will be booking again.

Lodge 4 was outstanding!

We had the best week here, the lodge was really well equipped, beautifully decorated and had that touch of luxury about it. The hot tub was an added bonus. The site itself was really quiet whilst we were there so we spent many a time sat in the hot tub listening to the birds tweeting! We really didn’t want to come home, I’m pretty certain we will be back at some point in the near future.

The hot water was too hot from the kitchen, almost scolding us.

The beds were quite uncomfortable - we had to put duvets on top of the mattress to make it comfortable. The lodge itself was lovely and quiet despite being close to the main road, and the hot tub was maintained very well.
