Lodge 7

Great property and location, my only criticism is the beds.

My feet hung off but at usual at these stays the beds are not very comfy which is my only criticism of the stay.

The lodge was excellent .

But did lack some kitchen equipment. Our cleaning equipment was broken . Couldn't use the broom . But thats it the rest was brilliant.

Lovely stay for a few days in a lovely quiet location, but plenty of places to go around the area.

The lodge was lovely and clean and had everything we needed, hot tub was perfect and clean. Already looking to visit again. Would highly recommended.

Such a lovely lodge.

A very peaceful place to stay. We were surprised with a lovely bottle of prosecco, an easter egg and sweets on our pillows! Very thoughtful thank you! Would highly recommend

*Decking around hot tub in disrepair.

*Double bed creeks. *No instructions on the heating/water. *Hot water very hot.

We really liked the lodge and it was very clean.

Hot tub was lovely. There are however a few points we’d like to mention, but these wouldn’t stop us returning. Decking out the back is broken in places near the hot tub. Could also benefit from some anti slip flooring added to the decking. Table or chair near the hot tub would be useful. Only 1 shelf in the oven, which meant we could not cook the Christmas dinner and food we took and had planned to cook. No sponge to wash up with. Heating took a while to get up to temperature and the lodge was quite cold at times. Beds were not very comfortable.

A lovely lodge on a really lovely clean well kept site.

The Lodge was lovely and clean and comfortable but no grill pan in the cooker and would have preferred a dishwasher rather than a washing machine as no where to dry the washing , couldn't find an airer. Lovely hot tub but difficult to get in and out . Some leaflets would be helpful for places to visit. We loved the site, everyone was so friendly and the fishing was really good.

What a fantastic week.

..the whole site has a wonderful feeling of calm and peace and is extremely well maintained,something sadly lacking in today's world.. The lodge was perfect for 2 couples..with the bonus of 2 bathrooms... My only small gripe is the lack of glasses..plastic for hot tub fine, but for in the lodge a right mish mash..also would really have appreciated extra plates and knives...a small moan but those little extras would have just raised the place right up..everyone was extremely friendly and helpful..if you want peace and quiet in lovely spot you won't go far wrong with here

We really enjoyed our stay here , near to shops, dog friendly and very clean also enjoyed the hot tub.

The double bed was really squeaky,woke up a few times, the decking area had a couple of loose boards and the rug in the living area is so dangerous on a slippery floor no grip underneath?

! We actualy rolled it up after both slipping on it! Both showers ran too hot,could not turn them cooler.

More glasses and mugs would be helpful, otherwise a very lovely place to stay.

It’s was amazing!

Can’t say enough about the place. We stayed for 5 days. Myself and 3 boys, aged 9,17 & 23. It was just a hat we needed after having a very stressful several months. We shall of course be going back and have already started making a list of extra items we may take!

Had a fantastic time at this property.

Had a long weekend, lots of nice walks nearby as the nature reserve is not far from the lodge. Would definitely recommend this property to people. Very happy with everything whilst staying there.

Everything was fantastic.

This lodge was lovely!

It had everything we needed, the hot tub was all set up and easy to use, the facilities were fab! The location is brilliant being only a 15 minute drive to Lincoln city centre and had lots of places nearby to get food (plenty of Just Eat options to be delivered!) The only tiny thing is that we were only provided with two toilet rolls so we had to go out and buy more but other than that our stay was perfect!

The only real draw back for us were the sofa's, the style with the low back makes them not very comfortable so watching TV in the evening or just relaxing wasn't the best.

My only other comment would be about the kitchen surface layout, there wasn't much room for food preparation. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Paul the caretaker and groundsman was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, he was helpful and able to answer all our questions and he checked every day if everything was ok with our lodge and hot tub. He also helped my husband with regards to the lake and fishing, which we really enjoyed as my husband is a keen fisherman, he really made our holiday enjoyable.

We had a fantastic 4 day stay at Lodge 7. Excellent value and very high standard of accommodation. I can imagine it's great in all climates as it blends cosiness with Alfresco. Just what the doctor ordered.

Absolutely lovely place for me and my partner to go away.

It was even better than the pictures and was so immaculate! 100% would recommend if you want a peaceful get away. It is also fully equipped so we were able to cook most nights. Will 100% come back again :)

An amazing time away in Lincoln.

We have done many lodge style holidays and this beats them all by a mile. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the property was amazing; you'd have everything you'd want. All crockery and cutlery enough for 4 people (we cooked every night) available. Coffee, tea and milk on arrival which was lovely to walk into aswell as pressecco and biscuits - a nice touch. The overall space was perfect for us with space to play games and enjoy our holiday. Thank you to the owners who have worked tirelessly to create a welcome, clean and peaceful spot to relax. We honestly had the best time. Thank you.

Excellent property in a quiet location but well placed for visiting Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Clean and well maintained. Sykes should look to update their arrival info as it said to collect the keys from the key safe of Lodge 1, which had us stumped for a short while until we realised Lodge 7 had its own key safe and the code worked there. Also WiFi code was not provided but fortunately Sykes customer help obtained it for us.
