Lake View Lodge

Fantastic stay exceptionally clean peaceful and amazing views of the lake everything you need is in the lodge milk tea coffee sugar biscuits on arrival Paul next door maintains the lodge was brilliant we booked 4 nights June 26 and just booked a return end of July I could not find a fault with it and would highly recommend this stay

Gorgeous property overlooking lake all fenced off so safe for dogs!

What really let it down was the twin beds, extremely springy & the sofa bed was also small and uncomfortable. Kettle needs urgently replacing, no filter so full of limescale. Cleanliness good but being picky cutlery holder was a bit dirty. Lovely place though. Thanks

We had a lovely stay and wished we could stay longer.

The lodge was very cosy and the view was fabulous. We had everything we needed and could see that a lot of the feedback we read from previous guests had been addressed. Internet connection was slow which didn't matter too much for our break but may be important to others. The kettle could do with descaling. Otherwise we had no problems and would happily stay again.

Our stay was perfect.

Will definitely be returning to this beautiful well presented cabin overlooking a gorgeous lake. Its beautiful and extremely peaceful. My one moan was i couldn't find any woodland area to let mt dogs off the lead and have a run on site, although if u walk round the fishing lake tou can do that there. Our stay was beautiful, cabin was spotless and we had everything we needed to make it a great stay. Thank tou to the owners much appreciated x

Beautiful Lodge.

Wonderful view. So peaceful. Was great watching the water skiing and the swans, ducks and geese. Would definitely recommend.

Had every think that you would need for a holiday clean and the next door neighbour who came in every day to check the Jacuzzi was friendly and helpful

This was our second time here, and although the hot water was not working on our second day, it was quickly rectified.

The air conditioning came in handy as well. We will be back.

Amazing place to stay inside and out.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our week relaxing fishing and feeding the ducks. BBQ and hot-tub was a bonus. Neighbour who sorts the hot-tub forgot their names

Such a beautiful location, felt comfortable and relaxed. The lodge is very well maintained and had everything we needed. Definately worth a visit. We will certainly be back.

What an amazing cottage.

The hot tub was brilliant and we all loved it

Generally things were very good and the location was tremendous with those views.

A few specifics would benefit from some attention. We arrived in the dark. It was extremely difficult to navigate the site and it was easy to get lost. A site map would be useful. I spoke to reception and they weren't absolutely sure where it was. It was hard to read lodge numbers and walking there in the dark quite dangerous. It would benefit from a good exterior light. There were no instructions for using the heating, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. A neighbour spent an hour working on the heating (which we appreciated). Then it was very hot and came on erratically. We never got to work out the microwave but found a limited way to get by with the oven and washing machine. Not much that can be done about it but walls are thin and bedrooms and bathrooms adjoining. Might not be for light sleepers. There was a flashing light coming from a bedroom cupboard which was distracting overnight. We managed to hang a thick scarf over the gap to minimise the strobe effect. It might matter to sensitive people.

Lodge is accurately listed and comfortable.

Cleaning and maintenance needs attention especially the hot tub which was a health hazard for us. Incorrect hot tub cleaning and chemical management led to severe hot tub rash and need for medical attention. Out door seating cushions left out and soaked so unable to use even though weather nice. Site restaurant/bar beer not tight problem with gas/pipe cleaning and food very basic. Unfortunately our whole week ruined by by hot tub rash.

Perfect stay.

The lodge is amazing. Superb views overlooking the lake and watching the water skiers. The lodge has everything you need but a set of sharp knives would be helpful . Super comfortable beds. Very peaceful place to watch the stars at night. We don’t normally return to the same place BUT this lodge is definitely worth another visit and we will be rebooking.

Really lovely lodge and beautiful setting.

Well equipped kitchen. Would like to mention though the lack of pillow protectors was a bit of an issue, as we were asked to strip the linen on leaving it became apparent. It's a minor thing but needs addressing as one pillow was badly soiled.

The Lodge was comfortable and well equipped, and the hot tub was very relaxing.

We had a lovely week stay at Lake View Lodge, a great place to relax and unwind with superb views over the lakes.

Very relaxing, accommodation was great. Plenty of room. hot tub is the best I have used. Fished a lot but didn’t catch many (lol)

The hot tub was fantastic. Great area for the dogs which was nice and secure, which was extremely helpful. Would definitely return again. Would say a better hoover would perhaps be beneficial for users.

Absolutely amazing place with great views!

Everything you could want is at the property and was so nice and comfortable it was like home away from home. Was that comfortable there I even thought about getting somewhere like that for ourselves. The owner was so helpful from beginning to end and couldn’t thank them enough! Will 100% be recommending to friends and looking to return in the future.
