Another excellent stay, everything you need for a relaxing holiday (even the weather for November was good), Sue is super helpful if you need her.

We love it here and will be back again

The accomidation is fantastic few cobwebs here and there beds fantastic good shower,there are a lot of rats under the veranda and around the lodge we informed the service desk and provided video evidence of rats running around veranda and surroundings

We had another lovely stay in Bittern lodge on Duck Lake & the fishing was great, my husband caught some lovely big carp, so was in his element.

Last year we stayed at Tattershall at one of the away resort’s accommodation- however Bittern lodge beats them hands down in terms of space, cleanliness, position directly onto the lake and comfort.

The view over the lake is amazing, the beds and shower luxurious. This is on top of the activities provided by away resorts, which the children enjoyed. My only criticism is lack of baking trays, so pretty minor, everything else was first class.

We recently stayed at Bittern Lodge and had a lovely time.

The lodge itself is charming, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, we would highly recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Peaceful tranquil location. Absolutely loved our stay.

We had an absolutely lovely relaxing time at the lodge, and because of its position it was pure tranquility, overlooking the duck lake with a drink in one hand relaxing in the hot tub.

The lodge itself is so clean, comfortable beds and a nice powerful shower. It also has lots of space.

We stayed a week here in October, it is situated in a peaceful lakeside location.

The lodge is spacious and has mostly everything you need. There is no WiFi and the signal strength for basic park WiFi wasn't there, however we knew that when booking. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great comfortable home beautiful setting Clean and everything there including an air fryer!

Hot tub was wonderful Only one little moan. There was only 1 toilet roll for us ( 4 adults for 4days) it would have been no problem if we had been advised to bring some with us. Would definitely return.

The step from the patio door to the decking is very dangerous, I just managed to stop my grandson from badly injuring his ankle in the gap.

You need to place a sticker on the patio door window to stop children running straight at it. The wooden double seat shown in the pictures needs to be repaired or taken away. Too much chlorine in the hot tub. I'm health and safety qualified and just want you to know of these issues. Otherwise it's a nice lodge.

Lovely peaceful lodge set on the banks of Duck Lagoon with a fishing platform, hot tub, plenty of glasses for your tipple after a exhausted day out visiting all the air museums around or a trip to Lincoln or Skegness Sue the owner visited to welcome us & was very helpful in the weeks leading up to our visit.

Please be aware that there is an active RAF base close by that involves the Typhoons taking off during the day & sometimes during the night. Will definitely be back again

Bittern Lodge is lovely & in a perfect position on Duck Lake & we always have a great time while staying here.

We go back every year, we love it so much.

It is in a quiet and picturesque part of Tattershall Lakes Holiday Park. We enjoyed the hot tub with the view of the lake.We paid for passes & enjoyed using the bar & restaurants, bingo, indoor & outdoor pools, archery and shows in the Big Top. The on-site fish & chip shop was also excellent. Sue & Brendan were very easy to contact & the check in details, key safe & passes all easily organised. We highly recommend this property & would happily book again!

We have stayed here before so the fact we came back shows that we were very satisfied.

last year. In fact this year was even nicer because there was a new sofa suite.

The Lodge was very clean, everything you needed was in there, we had a problem with the temperature in the hot tub we contacted the owner and she was there within 10 mins and sorted out for us, she was very helpful.

We would definitely recommend it to family & Friends.

Lovely lodge but is in need of some TLC.

Door handles are all loose with screws hanging out, front door is extremely stiff and needs the hanging adjusted, most internal doors don’t close. The sofas are probably ready for an upgrade. Hot tub is very good.

i enjoy my fishing and with the peg being just outside the patio doors is great .

Holiday lodge was first class all positive no negative.

We had a brilliant few days.

The property was really nice and the owner was very nice and offered us to use number 3 for fishing as there was no one there.

Everything was comfortable and I hope to return

Great location, views and hot tub was lovely, friendly host.

The beds were really comfy and enjoyed sitting overlooking the lake nice & peaceful. No welcome pack, general maintenance needed front door difficult to shut. No bathroom bin, only 1 recliner working and hole in the sofa, replacement plastic chopping board & some utensils need replacing.The kettle doesn't switch off when boiling bit hazardous. For the price of the holiday I really would expect all of these as standard. Netflix or more mod cons would be beneficial for families. This is an honest review of the accommodation only, it didn't stop us having a great time at Tattershall lakes.

We had a fantastic family holiday In wonderful surroundings, The lodge was lovely spacious and well maintained, We all loved the hot tub.

Keycode we had to ring up for the keycode after we arrived as it was not sent through to our mobile, the code arrived on the mobile 40 minutes after we had been in the property.

Although we knew we had to pay for entertainment/activity passes we did not expect to pay £80 for two people just to have access to the restaurant and chip shop (so we did not). Some of the crockery that we used was not very clean. You advised us to bring detergent to freshen up our clothes but there was no washing machine to do this in (although it was not listed) The hot tub seemed a little too warm and the chemicals we were asked to put in had gone hard. For the price we paid, we felt it was a little much to ask us to strip the beds before we left and put the chemicals in the hot tub.

On arrival the hot tub was faulty.

My son put his foot in & pulled it out again as way too hot! Fridge was dirty as was BBQ, pots & pans. General maintenance poor, outside lighting poor, toilet flush wouldn't turn off & big hole in sofa. Decking area, table & chairs were covered in dirt & birds mess. When we contacted owners, they took over 24hrs to arrive & had little or no interest. We were just a problem to them & owners husband very aggressive. Took BBQ away for 4 day's before returning it. By day 2 we noticed problem with moths in bedroom which got worse & we couldn't use the room, my teenage son's had to share a bed. Totally stressed by end of week & left early. Not impressed......

Lovely lodge in nice location however lots of general maintenance issues.

My husband got stuck in the bathroom due to the lock/handle being faulty. There also appeared to be a problem with the toilet flush- it kept getting stuck. One of the sofas has a hole in it and the other the recliner is broken. Also light bulbs missing and uncomfortable towels and pillows. I also would have expected a hand towel to be provided in the bathroom- we used one of the spare bath towels instead. All in all no major issues but basic comfort and maintenance was lacking.

The lodge and hot tub were lovely and in a nice position.

The beds and bedding were lovely and very comfortable. However, It does need a bit of maintenance though. The doors don't shut properly unless you slam them the screws are hanging out of the door handles, 'LOSER' is carved into the wall of the spare bedroom and there is also a dent in the wall too. There was a lot of dust on the surfaces, the slow cooker dishwasher and frying pans were all dirty and had to be washed before use. One frying pan had baked on dirt that must have been there for ages as we couldnt get it off therefore we couldnt use it. I believe as its very dark on the park better outside lighting is needed. A couple of oven trays and a few cleaning products would have been useful as we cooked for ourselves. Unfortunately although Bittern lodge is lovely we didn't like the park so we wont be returning

Lovely lodge in a great location on duck lake, very clean and well equipped, this is the second time we have stayed here and would thoroughly recommend it.

What a wonderful cabin Clean and comfortable in an amazing setting .

The view is fabulous and hottub one of the best we have used . We didnt want to leave A+++

We've stayed in this lodge a few times now & are never disappointed, it's lovely & the location is fantastic.

We'll definitely be booking again for next year.

We had a fantastic week at Bittern lodge great cabin first class facilities all you needed was there.

The owner Sue met us on arrival very friendly showed us how to use the facilities in the cabin. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone who want a really good relaxing holiday.

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay in the quiet area of Tattershall Lakes.

The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. Thanks to Sue who responded to any queries very promptly. There are so many interesting places to visit in the area, but I must say I always looked forward to returning to the lodge for an evening dip in the hot tub.

Great setting and outside facilities. We had a wonderful stay. My only criticism is no wifi or extra tv channels. Will a 7 year old and no access to onsite facilities it would have helped. But wouldnt stop me from returning again by any means

Could not find a place to walk dog and let him have a run, plus there are no fish in duck lagoon

The site was great with lots of facilities however leisure passes have to be purchased which is an extra expense.

Fab location on the duck lagoon and lovely hot tub. The lodge wasn’t the cleanest. We had to clean glasses pre use. There was also quite a lot of thick dust. Could do with extra towels too - hand towel and bath towel per a person is expected. We enjoyed our stay but when paying a premium price I expect the little things above to be better.

Love going to Tattershall Country Park, it's a great place.

Lodge was beautiful and had everything we needed. Furnished really well with beautiful crisp bedding. Morning sun on the patio and there most of the day. Stunning views and in a nice quiet position. It was perfect.

The lodge was perfect, the lake view is lovely and the owner Sue was v helpful. Tattershall lakes country park is a great site too. Would definitely return.

The day before our holiday we were phoned and told our holiday had to be cancelled due to a boiler problem in the cabin we had booked, but thanks to Sykes we were found an alternative cabin that was a bit cheaper and just has comfortable and met our needs, we were very grateful to Sykes and all the help they gave us On our arrival the cabin owner met us, she was very helpful and friendly and we would book again maybe in the future.

The lodge was beautiful.

Fridge/freezer very iced up.

Very dusty behind furniture ( had to move a bedside table because I dropped something and the dust was thick and cobwebby). We came here last year also and there were some very welcome extras that you tend to forget like salt and pepper, chill flakes etc. This year there wasn't anything. Just got the impression it may be time for a refurb.

Lodge was beautiful in a quiet location everything needed to just relax was enjoyable to watch daily flights of jets taking off.

.fishing was great for the husband but fishing peg could do with an upgrade so he tells me..

shame we didn't have the weather to match . The owner's came round Saturday morning to welcome us to their lodge which was nice to meet them .

Hot tub wasn't ready when we arrived, the boys were very disappointed that they couldn't use it until the following day.

Bed in 1st double room had a mound in the middle of it, so was uncomfortable. Other than these two things the lodge was lovely & if they got new a mattress I'd stay there again.

If your looking for a great relaxed break this is the place for you.

Owners live on site but you don’t see them unless you request to. The site is Very large and maybe a bit to big for the facilities on offer! Fishing from the jetty is good catching carp, bream, tench and pike. If there’s more than one person fishing you’ll have a problem with only a small jetty!! Hot tub went down well with all the family the whole experience was brilliant!!! If your into RAF plane spotting this is the place for you! They start running the jets from 9am and stop about 8.30pm unbelievable the skill of those pilots, I didn’t know weather to watch my float or watch the sky fantastic!!!!!

Bittern Lodge was a beautiful place to stay, extremely clean and comfortable.

It was like a home from home and would definitely be staying again!!!

The lodge was absolutely beautiful - far nicer than it even looked in the photos.

Such a tranquil, lovely place to stay. Fairy lights around the outside are an added bonus! Only thing I would say is that it would have been nice to have had more amenities such as toilet roll, soap, oil for cooking, salt etc.

Really lovely, comfortable lodge overlooking duck lagoon.

Very peaceful even with lodges either side. Lodge inside has everything you will need and for us, felt like home from home. We stayed with our toddler and he loved it! He cried when it was time to come home. The park itself is great and caters for everyone. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely, well equipped lodge in a nice location with lake views.

Last minute booking but the lodge was presented well and both Sykes and the owners dealt with our booking efficiently. Only downside is the noise from and the proximity to neighbouring cabins.

Large amount of rules laid out to adhere to, more like a hostel than private holiday home.

Location did not appear to be as pet friendly as the website suggests. Strongly disagree with the sign on the front door informing holiday makers that 'Concealed CCTV was in use' - made it really hard to relax with the thought of being watched by hidden cameras. Additionally there was a minor in the property throughout our stay. If cameras are a must then they need to be clearly visible and declared on the website.

We specifically booked this break for the so called Bavarian christmas market!

!! What a shambles , we'be been to better jumble sales .granted it was the first time for the site , but I would hardly call 3 stalls a market and to top it off we had a twelve hour power cut on the Saturday with no communication from the sites operations staff to what was happening , no heating or water for 12 hours ,poor show.we were only informed of the events by Kristine ,a friend of the owner who was our nominated point of contact as the owner's were on holiday.

Lovely location overlooking the lake.

Good for all of us the eldest grandchild did fishing and the middle grandchild hired a bike. The only drawback was the youngest who isn't quite 2 years was the proximity of the lake. There was enough adults to keep an eye on him and he couldn't get out of the door, but we all enjoyed the holiday. The hot tub was definitely a bonus. The lodge was comfortable and clean.
