Beautiful lodge in stunning surroundings.
Second time stay and won’t be the last.
Property was lovely, however there were a few things that needed attention, broken blinds, tv remote and things that need replacing such as the knives which were blunt and very worn.
Given we are having regular heatwaves lack of electric fans at the property was an issue. The morning of checkout the hot tub was being drained at 9am and there was someone waiting outside the property at 9:15 waiting for us to leave, presumably to clean which felt really uncomfortable. Orher than these issues it was fantastic.
The lodge was very nice indeed , everything that you needed was there for you , great to have privacy around the hot tub , great use of the space in the garden and the view over the pond from the front veranda deck is lovely comfy sofa and furnishings, decent wifi which is a bonus in places like this .
..., the bedroom was very hot and uncomfortable overnight if you have a fan take it with you we had the large window open to get some air flow . there was bits of work going on and was woken between 7-730 most days with pallets being moved for the lodge opposite of workers on buggys sat talking right outside with engines on,,,,, The pizzas are fantastic we got take out and eat at the lodge we also had a very nice meal in the restaurant aswell the staff in there are loverly wendy stood out and think the other ladies name was jody tall lady dark hair credit to you , but to be fair they was all fantastic we will defiantly be booking again great place just to switch off
