The Look Out

Aptly named for a fabulous view right from your front window!

Need to be reasonably active to climb the bank and steps and especially the walk back up form the village but you don't get a view like this from sea level! Comfortable accommodation and stunning scenery in all directions from this location. Very quiet site ideal for a relaxing get away.

! Stunning and ever changing views….. from sunshine and rain to sunsets and rainbows. Tastefully furnished and comfortable for a week exploring the area. Beaches, hill walks and waterfalls all within 30mins of the cabin. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hut, neat and tidy with a scenic view.

Just as described on the website. Hands down one of the best holidays hut we have stayed in. Only drawback, there were no curtains on the front window to close for night time , had limited privacy. All the other cottages seem to have curtains.

Lovely place in quiet pituressque setting overlooking the sea.

Clean and comfortable stay. Exactly as described, a bit of a climb up to lodge. Nicely decorated. Only thing for me was a lack of hairdryer but only a little niggle.. Would stay there again.

We have just returned from the “lookout” and we absolutely loved it.

The lodge was spotless and I’m fussy with cleanliness, it was comfy and cosy and there were nice touches such as blankets and cool bags for us to borrow. The beds were comfy. The view was unbelievable, I could sit and look for hours. Aberdyfi is a lovely town with a beach, crabbing area, little shops and yummy fish and chips. We drove to nearby Tywyn for the big shop which took 5 mins. I would recommend this property to anyone. Great for walks, water sports, beach days and waterfalls. Close to Snowdonia National Park but it took 2 hours to get to the Llanberis path of Snowdon. We did it but it was a very long day. I will definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.

Amazing views, peaceful and restful. A great base from which to explore. The Look Out is very well equipped, comfy beds, lovely linens and towels provided. We would definitely like to return!

Regardless of the weather, our stay was fantastic. The cabin was homey with great views. The town was beautiful and the people lovely. Perfect for our daily drive into Snowdonia for hikes and zip world. Will definitely book again.

The property was well thought out and nicely furnished, really comfy bedrooms and lovely shower. Amazing views which changed daily with the clouds coming and going and lovely big windows. Everything was clean and well maintained too. The village of Aberdyfi is lovely with a great beach, crabbing for the kids and enough restaurants, bars and takeaways to keep us all fed. Really lovely stay and can’t recommend it enough.

Decorated and furnished to a very high standard and equally well maintained . Stayed 3 nights recently and wish could have stayed longer.

We stayed at The Lookout for a week in August 2022 and had a fabulous stay.

The Accommodation and facilities were of a high standard and everything we needed plus more was provided for. The views are particularly amazing, simply breathtaking. We would highly recommend to anyone. The only negative is that we didn't book for longer but very much look forward to returning in the future.

A stunning location, ideal for people looking for total peace, with fabulous views.

The Look Out was lovely and clean and comfortable, and we will definitely go again. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We can also recommend the cafe/restaurant Coast for meals, but book in advance. It was great to have good quality beach chairs to take down the to beach - thank you.

Great accommodation and location.

Hot water failed on day before our last stay, but with one call had someone around within an hour and was fixed by our return from our excursion. My recommendation. Is to have separate bins or reference to separating waist for the bin as it would then help to maintain the fantastic initiative of the central waist removal where waist products are separated. Please note this is a very minor observation the accommodation, Location and service was on point. Thank you.

In addition to being supremely peaceful and relaxing, the location of 'The Lookout' provides the most sensational and panoramic views as its name suggests.

The furnishings and appointment of the chalet are both high quality and contemporary. Everything one could ask for! Excellent in every way.

The decor and furnishings are lovely and modern. The walk into Aberdovey from the lodge is stunning and Aberdovey itself has a very chilled feel to it . We will definitely be returning to the lookout in the future ! Thank you so much for a great holiday !

Absolutely amazing.

The views from this lodge are unreal. The place was so clean and nicely decorated. Very cosy! Enough room for 6 adults easily. Quiet, relaxing trip, great location for the beach. Thank you so much, we really fell in love with the place :)
