The photo's make it look a lot bigger than what it actually is.

The other cabin looks much further away on the photo's. Please ensure you take insurance out on your stay because unfortunately we had a family emergency that resulted in us only actually staying for 9 hours out of a potential 48 and I understand its a buisness but a financial gesture would have been appreciated.

Very clean and tidy.

Easy to find, stunning location. See for miles and only hear sheep. Everything you need for a relaxing quiet get away. Only thing I can say is I wish the hot tub was a bit cooler, the weather was very hot when we were there and a cooler tub would have been better. But I understand while the temp is locked on it. Would definitely stay again.

Had an amazing week at Roosters rest.

Stunning views across the valley, great location to get away from it all, and only a 10 minute drive to local town for amenities. Great for walking, bird watching and escaping the insanity of daily life. Hot tub is a perfect way to unwind. We were there during recent heatwave and owners purchased a large fan for us to keep cool at night. Everything we expected and more, highly recommended

Great location over looking the Cambrian mountains, quiet location with red kites spring over head.

Accommodation was comfortable but could do with some clothing hooks in the shower and for towels and clothing as well as a toilet roll holder. But we had a great week at the Roosters rest.

This is our second visit to Roosters Rest, the view from the pod and hot tub are spectacular, everything is lovely and clean with a nice welcome gift of fresh eggs and flapjacks, it’s great that dressing gowns and towels are provided, we had an amazing time and have booked again for next year

Stunning views, fab location. Great for a writer's retreat. We loved the hot tub. Everything was new, fresh and thoughtfully laid out.

The cabin was beautiful, had everything you needed for a short stay!

Very private and the views were incredible! It snowed whilst we were there which made it very romantic! The property was really modern and was nice and warm inside even when it was snowing! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location and the pod was outstanding!

Super modern and cosy with privacy allowing myself and partner to relax and switch off. The pod stayed lovely and warm which was a god send after a hike in December weather! The hot tub was lovely and warm and again privately placed behind a fence so we were hidden from the neighbours. We will absolutely be back again without a doubt!

The place really offers a serene getaway. Ideally located to explore nearby attractions such as Elan Valley. We had an awesome and relaxing weekend away and we’ll definitely be back again. Thanks a lot!

First impressions WOW.

Secluded amazing views. Cabin itself was immaculate fully kitted out eggs and Welsh cakes very thoughtful. Hot tub well maintained. Shower was amazing. Added bonus right next to us was a rather large field with a stream at the bottom made it ideal for an early morning walk with our dog. Only downside for us was we found the bed slightly uncomfortable and rather rickety other than that it was perfect Thank you

Our hosts were fantastic.

Attentive if we needed them to be but we were otherwise left to enjoy a very peaceful holiday. Wonderful accommodation, very clean and it had everything we could need. A lot of thought has gone into the design, including access to the hot tub directly from the balcony.

We were so impressed with the pod.

It could benefit with an air fryer rather than an oven but that's only because we ate in for our stay. The Pod was very clean and had everything you needed, having the hot tub was great to relax in the evening. Would recommend staying at the pod if you want to relax and chill.

Net schoon cottage, alleen als je er een week zit mis je kast ruimte.

Onder het bed wel genoeg ruimte om je tassen met kleding onder te leggen. En jammer dat er geen koffie apparaat is. Het is een hele mooie omgeving en super mooi uitzicht, en heerlijk rustig.

Our stay at Roosters Rest was amazing, such a cute place to stay with spectacular views, we enjoyed the hot tub which made our stay extra special, I’ve booked again for next year.

Amazing property!

Stayed here for the week and it had everything we needed. We absolutely loved stargazing in the hot tub and looking at the amazing views. Fur baby loved it too. We will definitely return☺️

The lodge is surrounded by lovely peaceful countryside and not too far from the Eden valley, where there are some lovely walks.

This was the perfect place to stay!

A beautiful location and a beautiful place to stay. Amenities were top notch! Had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed the list is endless! Took our furbaby along and he had more than enough space on the decking and surrounding little area where he was safe enough to have a roam supervised. Hot tub simply lush! Definetly allowed us to reset for sure! Hosts very accommodating and we even took home some fresh eggs they supplied. Will be back, highly recommended!

The most beautiful location and holiday pod!

This is an extremely well presented accommodation in the most beautiful of settings.

The attention to detail is outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after walking the reservoirs, and sitting on the porch watching the soaring kites was so peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful and restful stay.

The rural setting is outstanding, and we spent each evening on the patio admiring the spectacular views.

With sheep roaming the fields below, it's easy to forget the stresses of modern-day life. Our pod was impeccably equipped and spotless. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the fresh farm eggs and biscuits that had been provided! Alex was very attentive every morning, ensuring that our private hot tub was kept clean and heated throughout the day. It was always ready whenever we wanted to use it, which we did after our walks and again to watch the sunset, glass of wine in hand! The Wi-Fi was excellent, and I was able to conduct a few business meetings online without any issues. Additionally, Lucy was extremely well-organized and responsive, always eager to help with any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Rooster's Rest—it's simply impossible to go wrong. Alex and Lucy are exceptional hosts.

We had the most peaceful stay at Roosters Rest!

The view from the balcony is beautiful by day with grazing sheep on the rolling hills and by night with the thousands of stars. The hot tub was perfect and we loved that you could get into it straight from the balcony so that doggo was safe on the balcony and could still be near us. The hut itself is very well thought out in terms of space and practicality and the interiors were modern and cosy. The location is perfect, only 20 minutes from Eden Valley where we walked to look at the dams on both days we were there. We didn’t feel the need to go out to eat as cooking at the pod and sitting on the balcony was so perfect. So pleased we found this little gem and can’t wait to be back. Thank you Aled and Lucy for being so helpful and friendly.

Absolutely stunning accommodation with serene views!

A gorgeous little lodge overlooking Welsh hills, complete with hot tub to relax and watch the stunning view with the hills, sheep and red kites. Super comfortable bed, a powerful shower and a great little living area, it has everything you need for a cosy little stay away from home. Highly recommend!
